2	I deleted girl before our arranged date, because she has been ignoring my messages. If you haven't talked since you set the date up, confirming on the day makes sense. "Hey, are we still on for tonight? Looking forward to it!" But if I understand OP correctly, they're saying they set the date, then "days before" it, OP's calling and texting.
