I would just like to add, there are a lot of women out there that split the bill and aren't all trying to use their gender as a means to get free meals. My girlfriend and I have always split meal costs, except like on birthdays and special occasions. Kind of upsetting that a large number still subscribe to that belief though, glad I never had to deal with someone like that.
Its kind of sad that if you mention this to the general reddit audience, they laugh at you and see you as a woman hater......this news is infuriating to say the least.
