I also think that women care less about muscles than other men do. I see men getting way more invested in another man 'bulking up/getting jacked' than women. Just look at the average 'men's health magazine' against 'glamour'. The men's magazine has some muscly guy on a strict diet and workout regimen. The Woman's magazine has Harry Styles, KPop Boys, Cillian Murphy and Timothee Chalamet

I agree with everything you have written. But I think the jig is up. Men know how little women are interested on the whole now. They just have to force the narrative/maintain the pretence, because for 1000s of years it benefited them so much to the point that there a bit rudderless without it. If you look back at old male writers/lawmakers, men knew exactly how much women wanted independence. It's why they made things so strict.

They absolutely are. A recent post on redpill was about an average man complaining that women are entitled because a woman at a bar bumped her drink up to a double when he was ordering. The men commiserated with him, which is precisely what he went in there for. Men on redpill absolutely complain.

Why are so many men agreeing? Are they 'spiritually female'?

What I find sad is how many men will use women using anti-depressants/going to therapy as a 'gotcha' to mock or insult women with, but at the same time feel very entitled to superficially female empathy over the male suicide rates.

When a man rapes a woman, it's 'not all men' or 'that's not a real man', but when a man invents something, it's 'look what We Men do for society'. Lol that's not how it works. You can't disavow the bad and try to muscle in on the noble/good.

Men used to like to scoff at 'women's pictures' (romance films) and 'chick-lit', acting as if they were above such things and that women were silly for liking these things, yet deep down, many were very comforted by how much a Woman's life was conditioned to center around men, marriage and children. Because they used to run more - esp in media - they could have their cake and eat it. Get marriage, but also get to act aloof about it, as if they were begrudgingly doing the woman a favour by 'final…

If men want women so much younger, and women want men an average of 6 years older, why is the average age gap in marriage and cohabitation and children just 2 years (man older)?

'Women having rights takes away from my rights as a man. Women having autonomy makes me feel powerless. Women having independence and equality means that they can't be forced to pretend men know better (submission) and depend on egotistical men.' Women here, let's continue to thrive in education, maintain our financial independence/not having to rely on someone who wants to subjugate us(our grandmothers and great-aunts are often our biggest supporters on this particular point), speak up and havi…

This is so accurate. Sometimes young women speak about their grandmothers having more conservative attitudes about certain things, but what I see and have experienced far more often is old women being some of our biggest supporters.

That was all they knew because they had far less of a choice. So it's not 'nature'. It was 'nurture'.

So you basically acknowledge that all of this 'true femininity/women were happier' tripe that redpill men say is basically manipulation to push women back into positions that left women vulnerable and often trapped but artificially propped men up?

I find it strange to be agreeing with you because I've seen comments from you in the past that said things quite different to this. Iirc, a correction between 'femininity' and 'submissiveness/docility/the desire to be a housewife' as if these things were 'natural' to women. But I agree completely here. The rigid definition of 'feminine' was designed and maintained in a culture (laws, church and society/media) where men had most of the tangible power, and so it is 'nurture', the complete opposite…

Yet if I had experience on an intimate/romantic level and was saying the same thing you would call me jaded/damaged lol. If I marry, I want a relationship with mutual effort, respect and appreciation, but I am not obsessed with the idea of marriage. Classic confused redpiller response. 90% of redpillers: 'Women are such sluts nowadays. It's disgusting. There are hardly any virgins. I don't know. I'm a virgin, but I'm definitely wary of men/would be careful to vet one. I have healthy relationships with my male friends/dad/family members, but still I will be careful. If a woman or a man has had at least a handful of sexual/romantic experiences with the opposite sex that they had entered into open to the fact that it might develop, then there is going to be a certain amount of jadedness toward either the opposite sex or how they themselves were (men here who hate their past '…

So basically anyone who says anything about it or identifies with it, then. Not exactly a ringing endorsement. Who who are the genuine redpillers, then? The ones who have adoring wives yet behind their backs are saying to their friends, 'yeah, she was a bitch last night so I had to neg her', 'I spin plates. I think she knows, but Where's she going to find higher value etc?' I don't doubt that misogynistic men have sex, gfs and wives sometimes, but depending on what you truly mean by redpill, I w…

Not the 1800s. A woman couldn't open up her own credit card until the 1970s without a male 'guardian'. It was not until the 60s/70s that various Anglosphere/western European countries made things equal for women in terms of pay/marital dissolution and employment opportunities. Women are more likely (sometimes significantly) to go into medicine, veterinary degrees, law and teaching. These are vocational degrees and necessary for society.

Bingo! The benefits of being a traditional man (having a more prestigious job, the power that comes from being the 'main' breadwinner, even if the difference is small, being a leader) and the benefits of being a modern man (sex before marriage, not having to make all the money, the fantasy of getting 'chased' by women). They are irritated that women don't want this, as it leads to women getting the short end of the stick of both 'dynamics' without any of the benefits. This is why the 'women want…

Good point about fathers. My dad is the most encouraging (to the point of being pushy) person in my life when it comes to education/having a stable job I like/financial independence. He really drummed it into me. My mum is very much pro this stuff as well, but she just assumed that I would do it. My dad spoke to me about it often. Outside of really religious conversative fathers, I think most are like this.

Why can't you speak for yourself and stop a) parroting Kevin Samuels (you could at least use synonyms/change up the order of the words a bit to sound less sheeplike b) stand alone in your own preferences (courageous) rather than having to hide behind the claim that all men secretely have your preferences, whether they admit it or not.

How many men here who are accused of being misogynists, respond with 'I don't hate women.. I just understand them/have been around many of them/have had my fill of them.' Repeated experiences with the opposite sex that for one reason or another ended tends to leas to a certain loss of innocence/jadedness when it comes to dating. I just find it funny how men here spin it as a woman 'having baggage', but a man 'grows wisdom/learns what he likes.'

If you say so. In reality, most of the redpillers who show their face are single. Tinder and inceltears/sadcringe is rife with women joking/being disturbed with a manosphere 'alpha's' bio/messages, and you can find tons of TikToks/tweets about women dumping their bfs/dates as soon as they started spouting/enacting 'redpill dynamics'. As for casual sex, who knows? Many women (not as many as men, but still) do enjoy NSA casual sex/ONS, and if the circumstances are right, the man who looks decent e…

Your experience is your experience. I won't attempt to undermine it, esp if so many men feel the same way. From a woman, I think women are fine with a bit of vulnerability, even in some scenarios quite a lot. The problem is that some men are very black and white/all or nothing. They either reveal absolutely nothing/are like stone, with their romantic partners and often with everyone else, and are a bit repressed (which can cause problems), or they see their romantic partners as the one person th…

Because if it's not something to be ashamed of they wouldn't need to hide it around others. It would just naturally be part of their dynamic. These guys I see who are desirable to women, are confident but also fairly laid back (aside from making money - then they are quite 'on top of things'). They don't need to resort to toxic mate-retaining strategies. They're confident that the woman likes them.

Because I see them. I know some of them. I've spoken to some of them. I see how they interact with their gfs/wives, and how they interact with women more broadly. There is no 'pushing the little ladies down to feel big'.

Again. I don't understand the glee at fooling a woman who is just trying to look out for herself. Even if she's 'cocky' about it, being weaker physically means that we hope to be able to see the signs in a self-identified redpiller/misogynist. It's like a man here doing everything he can to marry a good woman and be a great father, and the woman is secretely laughing about the fact that the child is the result of an affair and the man will never know. We need each other societally, but women need and want men less for personal relationships. Once the educational and financial oppression was lifted from women, that quite quickly became glaringly obvious. It's a large part of why so much was denied to us outside of marriage. They knew that if we had other options we'd be way less inclined to prioritise it

I know redpill men are desperate to identify with chads/alphas/successful men whatever, but it's just not true. There are tons of handsome guys/rich guys/popular guys (with women and men), who don't need to be dominant/dread a woman/neg her, etc.

Yeah, but it's also about being 'a leader', which many men in the manopshere say is quite rare among a lot of men nowadays. So a woman will notice if a man is trying to 'lead' her. Redpillers claim she will be attracted and stay with him, but he will still stand out against other people.

If a man tries to convince me on how I should think/what I should want based on generalised 'truths' about women. E.g. A (less attractive) man who needs to explain to me that, unlike men, women don't especially care about looks. They go for... (insert thing any man can work to achieve/is holistic). Or man much older than me speaking about how women deep down don't care about age gaps due to biology and how it's woke culture convincing us to only want men our own age
/r/PurplePillDebate02/11/23 02:33 AM

I agree with the general idea that both value the other/put the effort in. I just find it weird that the onus is on women (in your original post) to focus on men, secure men and Maintain men. I hadn't seen the post until now.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 05:07 PM

It's weird how you speak of a woman 'obtaining and maintaining a husband' as if he's the prize/she's the one who's going to have to put the work in to make things work Women dump and divorce more than men do. If men are being left more, shouldn't some reflection occur on their end as to how they can stay married?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 04:38 PM

I think there's a middle ground between marrying at 19 and having meaningless casual sex and failed relationships. Many people just refrain from focusing on the opposite sex much while getting educated/starting their career, etc. They might date, etc, but it's not a priority so they're not as hurt if things end. The truth is, early marriages (20-24 and esp 16-20) have a higher rate of failure than ones where both are late 20s, as is the average age of marriage now.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 04:36 PM

Girls actually rarely married at 14. This is a common misconception about history. Royal/aristocratic families sometimes did, but it was because the marriage was based on time sensitive political alliances between countries/noble houses. There's also nuance. Often the 14yo girls were married to 14/15yo boys. And a lot of the time they were kept with their parents until older as early pregnancy was seen as risky. Needless to say, the girl's desire rarely came into it. This is the 1%, though. They…

Right, and there are videos that shame single mothers and women who divorce, yet still these things are pretty common. We live in one of the most sexually free times we have ever lived in. Casual sex, break ups, divorce, illegitimate children, polyamory, kink, etc etc. Are accepted far more than they have been for the past 1000 years in Western society. Women have more sexual autonomy than they ever have. If they still aren't gravitating much toward much older men (which, if you look at history,…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 04:16 PM

Right, so women are being pressured to not like older men? The 50s is a popular era for redpillers. Do you know what the average age gap was back then? 2 years. Women married young compared to now, but so did men. Men were around 22. This idea that 'woke idealogy' is taking women away from what many 'secretly want' makes little sense because historically, outside of royal/political matches, most couples weren't far apart in age at all. Absolutely some women like/don't mind much older men, but if…
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 04:00 PM

It's weird how men on here will criticise women for viewing men as 'options' and keeping 'orbiters' around while at the same time boast of having 'a rotation/a good selection, etc'. Women can't be dismissive and objectify men but men can with women? If you say so. There will be some men here who claim to be an anomaly. I'm just speaking about generalities/the average/what's likely. The rule rather than the exception.

You are so correct in how redpillers project. I see so many redpillers/manosphere men in YT comments, saying things like, 'what women need to realise is that men want/gravitate toward/will not put up with .. (insert specific dom/sub 1950s type rhetoric), and then get annoyed when men speak up and say 'don't speak for me.' They lack the courage to stand by their personal preferences (because they know how off they are to women), so they force a narrative that 'all men want this', so that women wi…

It's not just that. It's a lack of actual attraction. I got flirted with/asked out by older guys when I was 18/19/20, and though I felt that it was creepy, I just wasn't attracted to them.

There are literally numerous men online who post that the exact reason they want to date young women/teenagers is because they are easier to groom/mold/shape/'will believe whatever I tell them'. This has been repeated by some vocal redpill guys (Zherka, Myron from F&F etc). That sounds vile to any woman, young or old. We don't need to infer anything, or even need to have had experience. The men are explaining things in black and white for is.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 03:11 AM

Most dads I know would bristle at a big age gap, especially if the daughter was a teenager. Regardless, women choose mostly based on who they want, and the average age gap is 2-3 years.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 03:07 AM
1

Also, average age gap in the 50s was 2 years, just as it is now. Women married younger, but so did men. This idea that the norm of 17yo girls marrying 33yo men was ever the norm is a myth. Outside of royalty/aristocracy (based on time-sensitive political alliances), most age gaps were modest.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 03:05 AM

Literally 1% of marriages have the man 20+ years older. It's incredibly rare. And, just checked, only 18.8% have the man 6+ years older.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 03:03 AM

And men can want that. But they should know that women typically want men not much older than themselves, and few want many children (the number that would require starting in your early 20s, for example), so rather than browbeating more women into changing our standards, the men who want this should seek out the women who are on the same page.
/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/23 02:58 AM

It's easy to say that as a man when you know that the burden of childcare (as with housework) rests with women more than men, even if the women work just as much as the men. Many women want children, but they put it off or decide to only have one or two because they know that men do less, and women don't want to be stressed/overburdened/resenting their child as a result of being left with the lionshare. I genuinely believe that if women could be fathers, we would happily have 5 children, we woul…

I just don't agree. I mean, where are the cut offs. Is a man approaching 100 women, getting turned down, approaching 100 more and then sleeping with 2 proof that 'game is King'? Even if he's chubby, older, average looking, ugly, etc? And what about the women? Is a 45yo short average looking man going to women on his level with game? Or beautiful women decades younger consistently?

The global age gap between men and women in marriages/cohabitation relationships is 4 years (man older). This is massively skewed by all the MENA countries where women have less choice and so the age gaps are 7/9 years etc. In a great many countries, however, Inc. I don't believe that looks have ever 'barely mattered' for men. That an average/ugly man could 'spit game/have confidence' and easily have beautiful women interested in him. Outside of situations (historically) where the woman had no choice, or where the man was very rich/had a title, it just wasn't the norm. Marriage/dating/courting was often more pragmatic than it is today, but women have always cared about looks. I look at wedding photos of my grandparents' generation married in the 50s) and …

70% last I heard. No, listen. The studies show that men struggle more emotionally and regret it more. I understand that this interferes with the comeuppance you want women to face, but it's men who disproportionate struggle (apart from finances). You're projecting what men want onto women. Men get more out of being with women than vice versa. So a man always wants to know he has/can get a woman. Things are so much worse for him single. So few men hit their peak when they're supposed to? Isn't it rather meaningless, then? Desire to avoid stigma from who? The woman or the man? Women are far less stigmatised now for any romantic/sexual choice than we have ever been. It's a lack of desire on our part for older men. Financially we are. You can look it up. But not emotionally. There are studies. Is anything you say based in reality, or is it just an attempt to project onto woman and scare them into settling? Let's look at the statistics. Women dump and divorce x3 as much as men. Women who are single are less likely to want to change that than men (a recent study puts it as 49% of single women are looking to meet someone, compared to 61% of men). Women are leaving dating sites, clubs and are more wary of being approached in the street. Even though women are on average worse off financial…

How is he nearly peak SMV? What does that mean in the real world? Are you going by Rollo's little chart? The one that puts men at their top at 37 and women at their top at 23? If that were the case? Why don't more 23yo women choose to be with 37yo men? What good is a man's 'peak' if he cannot get with a woman at her 'peak'. 14year age gaps are really pretty rare.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/23 05:03 PM

Well, they have stats on having children, and the gaps are pretty similar. The facts are that the men who women see the most potential in to commit to (marriage and children) seem to be around the same age. I can't see why long-term relationships/stable cohabitation would differ much from other forms of commitment. I'm leaving out sugar-dating, etc.

So would the man.

Completely disagree if he's making average money. If what you believe in is based in reality, why do you think the average age gap is only 2 years?
/r/PurplePillDebate01/09/23 04:58 PM

In that specific scenario, I would say the man. But if we speak generally, the facts remain that women and men who marry are similar in age (and looks and background, etc.) I thought a big part of redpill was speaking about the rule and not the exceptions. As a woman who's only in my 20s, there's not a chance I would marry a 40yo man, regardless of his earnings. I am in the large majority, as 10yp age gaps are pretty rare.

It's probably the fact that despite being told the generic 'put in the work/lift/make money/be successful', so many redpillers (the vast majority) appear not to. Men who have been in the community for a decade and are considered authorities bemoan this fact too, before you say that I don't know what I'm speaking about. The redpill is the most basic common sense self-improvement advice, mixed with bitter hatred, and so many whiners leave the first part to dwell on the second.

The 'wall' doesn't really mean anything. It's just a revenge fantasy for lonely/bitter men who froth at the mouth at the idea of women 'getting her comuppance' for the terrible crime of.... living her life, being single and not settling for someone she didn't want to settle with. Ultimately, women marry on average at around 30 to men about 2 years older. Those are the facts.

Because often the 'feminine'/'pleasant' are dogwhistle words to mean 'submissive', 'passive', 'self-sacrificing' and 'modest'. Take gender out of it. And consider two human beings.. person A and person B. Person A is submissive, passive, self-sacrificing and modest. Person B is confident, independent and determined. Which person do you think is more vulnerable to being taken for granted/hurt as they journey through life? The fact is, that acting in the artificial ways that were imposed on women …

Go for it. It seems quite a defeatist mindset, to capitulate and act according to what attracts a portion of women. Men who enter the dating mindset can't claim that men are the 'natural leaders' of society/relationships, though. Because they're basically molding their behaviour around what women want, following her lead and then holding up their hands and saying 'she wanted it. I'm just responding.'

If the woman enjoys the sex and didn't want to commit to the man, it is. You seem to view sex as something that women don't really want or enjoy, but merely let a man 'do to them' as a means of 'keeping' him for commitment. Women can get a lot out of sex, and it's 2023. Women aren't the ones eager for commitment. If we were, we wouldn't be the ones dumping and divorcing 75% of the time

I don't really care what men like you prefer. I'm referring to women being safer and having more options now than in the past, which is best to anyone who isn't a sociopath. You can call women 'masculine' for standing up for ourselves, not being pressured to 'submit' and be a man's doormat. We're safer now. We are no longer as trapped in miserable conditions, and that's better for us, despite what you and men like you prefer. And single women's 'body count' is none of your business. If you want …

I agree. 80% of couples I know are people I look at individually and think, 'yeah, that makes sense'. They are almost always within 5 years of one another too. Of the other 20%, 15% of the time the man is notably better looking than the woman, and 5% the man is notably better looking.

There is a difference between being a silent, repressed man who never cries, keeps everything bottled up and then explodes in rage twice a year .. And a man who burdens his wife/gf with emotional labour by being so constrained by gender roles that she's the only one he can open up to, making her feel like a therapist. Women open up to their bfs/husbands, but they also open up to their friends/families/coworkers, etc more than men do, so it's often unbalanced to the Woman's detriment when the man…

Women are becoming more low quality because we don't want to endure toxic masculinity. A man posted this topic trying to rile up women, then when some women respond, we're gaslit as being 'mad' and 'bothered'. Carry on looking out for young women. The male and female 65+ stats are simple. Men die on average about 5 years before women (depending on the country). So if women die on average at 80, and men die on average at 75, there are obv going to be a lot of single women compared to single men because there are simply a lot more old women than old men. Age gaps of 3/4 years will affect things a little too. (63yo woman married to 67yo man), but the main thing is the difference in lifespan between genders.
/r/AllPillDebate29/08/23 10:42 PM

If a woman doesn't want to settle, she shouldn't have to. (Same for men, before I get attacked). Why would you want to pressure women to go out with someone they don't want. It's no longer 1723; the options aren't 'take what you're given or starve.'
/r/AllPillDebate29/08/23 10:36 PM

Women in general get married around the age of 29/30, regardless of looks. This weird 'wisdom of Chad' stuff is in your head. Typically women who get married pre-23 are either a) Christian and conservative, along with the groom or b) poor and uneducated.
/r/AllPillDebate29/08/23 10:30 PM

Women and men shouldn't have to be talked into marriage if they don't want it. Live and let live. Don't try to pressure others into things they don't want.
/r/AllPillDebate26/08/23 02:05 PM
2

I don't know what that means. I know it's redpill/incel speak.. but beyond that? You find women over 35 less attractive? Alright? Good for you. Are they just supposed to live in a cave for the remaining 45 years of their lives?
/r/AllPillDebate26/08/23 02:02 PM
1

And it leads to higher divorce rates. (2nd/3rd marriages and Ave gaps). Like I said, for a married woman, being free/single is the reward, but divorced men are often eager to get remarried. That should tell you about the relative benefits for men and women. Hint: men get more out of it. Yeah, I agree that women are less likely to settle now for men they don't want. But surely that's a good thing? Who, other than an abuser, wants a wife who is only with you out of necessity/desperation?
/r/AllPillDebate26/08/23 01:59 PM

I'm speaking generally. Look up the stats. Women stress out less about being single than men do.

Good for you. Do you know what an outlier is? An exception? It means outside the norm/not what commonly happens. The average age gap is 2/3 years (man older) and large age gaps are rare.

I've seen the adverts/TV programmes from the 70s/80s (put out by men) about women crying into ice cream after not getting phoned back/men not wanting to 'give up their freedom' and walk down the aisle with a 'ball and chain', but it's propaganda. It didn't really match reality then and it certainly doesn't now. Yeah, because men get more out of marriage, so they are more eager to remarry. We are in agreement. Men are more likely to marry a 2nd/3rd/4th time, or to enter into a rebound marriage (w…

That's true. Tons of men do too. There are ways of having children without marrying at 25 to a man you don't really want/won't make you happy. And most women want 2, maybe 3 children, so things are nearly as pressurised/time sensitive as the manosphere likes to make out.

For one it can't be proven. And anon can say whatever they like on the Internet. And 2. It hits so many of the redpill fantasty talking points. If it's true, it's an exception to the rule. On average, women overwhelmingly prefer to couple up* (marriage/children) with men about 2/3 years older. Age gaps over 8-10 years are rare. *Harder to get data on ONS/FWBs/Sugar dating. I'm speaking about real desire/commitment.

Men want both sex and relationships more than women. Women are happier with zero interaction with the opposite sex than vice versa. Hope that helps. Men here: don't just go to the gym. Work on having the sort of personality that will add value to a Woman's life/be worthwhile to her. Then she might choose to commit to you, but don't be petulant if she doesn't. Women should never have to settle.

Women hold the cards in terms of sex and commitment.

Ultimately it doesn't really matter, as most women don't want to be with men significantly older than them (you can point to yourself or 'this guy you know', but exceptions don't make the rule), and consistently, in many countries for centuries the average age gap is 2/3 years for marriage (man older). So men can find what they like attractive, but if they unlikely to be wanted back by that age demographic, it's a bit of a moot point.
/r/AllPillDebate26/08/23 08:55 AM
-1

Not really. Most younger women don't like big age gaps (I'm speaking based on marriage/babies, etc, - it's harder fo get a metric on ONS/FWBS/sugar dating). Older men think of younger women as malleable, but we're not that malleable, or age gap dating would be way more common. Our preferences are just as valid, and for the most part we dislike Big age gaps.

I'm a woman in my 20s, and I have an issue with older men pestering me, as do my friends. It's part of the appeal.

I wouldn't date a man more than 4 years older man me (or 4 years younger). I am only in my 20s, but I doubt it will change as I get older. I am only really attracted to guys my own age, for a multitude of reasons. 80% of couples I know are within 5 or 6 years of each other (either way). 95% are within a 10tyear gap. It's what most people gravitate to, and statistically, the smaller the age gap, the more likely things will last.
/r/PurplePillDebate28/07/23 01:00 AM

The women in your social circle are outliers. If what you say is true, they are skewing your perception. In reality, most women in their 20s don't end up with guys 'from their mid-30s to late 40s (lol such a big range), so I wouldn't get complacent about waiting until 43 and having a 26yo interested in you, because a 17year age gap is actually really rare. Average age gap is 2-3 years (man older).

Great. I agree. The majority of the problems women on this sub have is the lack of reciprocation implied in some of the comments/posts by men. Love, devotion/loyalty/faithfulness, respect, investment and even admiration for a spouse/gf/bf are all fine things to look for, but it should be mutual. Sometimes there is a 'men want/need' vibe to these posts that implies that only men should feel entitled to respect, devotion, loyalty, etc. Reciprocation and mutual investment is key.

Unless you agree that you are also a potential product for female customers? More men are NEETS (not in education, employment or training) than women. More women have and see friends than men. And men have more free time. I thought that was well-known.

Men work less, are in education less and volunteer less than women. They also have fewer friends and social circle ties. So what are they busier doing? Playing video games and posting on Reddit? You are too busy and independent to deal with anyone other than a dependent woman who will cater to you? How sad that sounds.

I notice that. I know some men who struggle with dating, and are a bit down about it (though from what I can tell, not bitter), but they would never consider moving abroad because they have strong ties with family and friends, are fond of their country and want to make the most of things here. I imagine that a lot of people who just pack up 30 or 40 years into their life must be quite solitary men, men who don't have strong ties/memories linking them with their country.

'For example, foreign women haven't bought into this combative / competitive "I must prove I'm just like a man" mindset that western women have bought in to.' How much is that individual choice on the woman's part, as opposed to poverty/corruption and the patriarchy in the church conditioning her to act a certain way? Women don't do certain things once held from us (go to university, earn a lot of money, enter certain careers) because we want to prove we are as 'good as men'; we do it to free us…

Women (a small minority of women in society) respond because the men can never just compliment women abroad/speak about how happy they are. They always have to compare local women negatively and insult them. Almost as if that was the goal all along. You already know this though.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/06/23 12:58 PM

We aren't competing, though. Most women haven't noticed any difference. They go on dates with men they are interested in, and don't notice what's going on with the ones they aren't interested in. I'm sorry, but the revenge-fantasy is no closer to becoming reality.

Admiration for what? I love how men will just slip in casually that most men here expect 'admiration from their women', yet call women entitled and delusional/arrogant constantly. Admiration usually requires being great at something. A lot of men here seem to want to just strut into a poorer country and be treated like a coddled prince/mini-God for nothing other than their gender and nationality.

So what do the men here actually want? The wholesome angel who is a virgin on her wedding day, or the receptive 22yo who will 'give up the pussy'? Yes! I hate this idea that married women barely worked before 1960. It is a very time and place (1950s America) sliver of history. For the vast majority of history, the majority of women had to work in some capacity outside the home. They couldn't afford not to.

Also, people criticise women in the west for 'not having enough children' and speak of going to Eastern Europe, South America and Japan/Thailand to have more of a 'family-oriented woman', but the fertility rate is as low in Eastern Europe is as low as it is in Western Europe. Passport Bros are the outliers to most men. Most men (not just in the US) marry women from their own country. Most young men in the manosphere are of a 'tradish' mindset, or in general? Those two things are quite different to me. I know plenty of young men who are in a relationship/engaged/married with kids, etc, yet their wife works and the man isn't foaming for 'submission/reverence'. You can't be assured a wife for life. Wives aren't possessions. If women are unhappy/mistreated, naturally we should be able to leave. What, in case you end up being one of the 9% of divorces that result in men paying alimony? There's a higher risk of a wife experiencing domestic violence than a man having to pay out alimony. The fact that you list millionaires/famous actors getting divorced as some sort of 'women are impossible to please' gotcha is very telling. For all we know, these men may be terrible partners. It's 40% if both the woman and the man are marrying for the first time. People on their 2nd and 3rd marriages drag the average up as subsequent marriages are less likely to work. The dying wives one? It's a known phenomenon. Doctors and nurses have reported on it. Women who get diagnosed with MS/Cancer are specifically asked 'who else do you have as a strong support?' even when they say they are married, whereas for men, saying they have a wife is enough.

That same study says that the fewer sexual partners there are for the man the better too for sexual satisfaction/relationship longevity. A young virgin woman still doesn't want to marry 'and be submissive' to an old man though. Many women outearn men in their 20s when they are single and childless. Men earn more when they get in relationships, and women earn less. How is it focused on the outcome? There isn't a defined outcome (beyond 'live the life you want to live') and even in redpill spaces they admit that they believe most of the guys are arguing and theorising.

The reason I choose marriage is because it's the best way of working out age gaps in women and men (along with age when first becoming parents). I understand that there are people in relationships who are unmarried/uninterested in marriage, but this is the best way of showing data when it comes to seriousness/commitment. I agree that there is probably data available about sugar dating age gaps, but that seems a bit pointless as it's transactional and not based on desire/love. I did use first mar…

I agree about female fertility. But you're 'men no matter what age will be attracted to young fertile women' point has been met with my point that this is largely useless if young women don't reciprocate. Men here act as if men's desires are innate/biological/rigid, yet women's are malleable and must adjust to men's. That's not how things work. If anything, if we look at the ages women and men first get married/have babies, men are catering more to women's preferences, as age gaps are quite smal…

Men should marry young themselves if they want a young virgin wife. Virgin women prefer virgin men though if they are religious. Though, like I said, both the woman and the man marrying at age 28-32 have the best chance of success. TRP are a bunch of hypocrites. You can't sleep around (or try to) until you are 32 and then complain that there aren't enough marriageable women (I'll guess obedient, young, virginal and housewife-ish?) to marry. For those women who exist, why would they want a Redpil…

The college one is really bad. It's an attempt to pain educated women as terrible/even discourage women from education, when, as you say, couples where both the woman and the man have been to university are the most likely to last. Face the facts. Women by and large don't like older men. The average age gap in marriage is two years. Many men can prefer 20yo fertile women all they like until they are 100, but it doesn't mean anything is going to be done about it, because it is rarely reciprocated. Women don't feel pressured to settle before you are ready (if at all).

40% of women earn as much as or more than their husbands. Why is the average age gap in marriage only 2 years (man older) then? I can't speak to sugar dating statistics, but in terms of who women commit to (marriage/children) we by and large stick to men our age. Which is great, because those relationships last the longest.

I don't think this is necessarily a tradcon belief. If you look at couples of the past/conservative couples who have been married for decades, they are pretty close in age, because both married quite young. I would say in the past it was a general sexist belief and it has been taken over by the redpill.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:50 PM

This seems to be going off the redpill 'women gatekeepers sex/men gatekeep relationships' binary point. It makes little sense, though, because women want relationships less than men, and can easily get one if they want it.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:48 PM

Yes, I will never be put down for having 'masculine' traits, especially since so many of them seem to be linked with what a human needs to protect themselves/get things out of life e.g self-confidence, boundaries, the ability to speak up/assertiveness, etc. I am surrounded by people who love me for who I am, and would not want to be anywhere near someone who would demonise me for having the qualities needed to get by/not be vulnerable.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:47 PM

Most women work (many full time) and 40% earn as much or more than their husbands/bfs, yet they are still lumbered with more of the housework/childcare load? Men really shouldn't be barking up the 'you want traditional but aren't prepared to be traditional yourself' tree, because, all in all, it seems there are more men wanting a housewife type yet happy to share the burden of providing than vice versa.

I find it very interesting that redpillers state how much they dislike divorce and use 'trying to reduce the risk of it' as an excuse to go for virgins (as there is a lower chance), but ignore the fact that one of the biggest predictors of divorce is a large age gap.

They go after women because they believe we're more malleable/biddable, so they think that if they state their narrative with enough authority we young women will magically change our preferences.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:26 PM
1

Some redpillers go abroad to do their pick up. And if they're in a country where the age of consent is 17/16/15, they'll research it and try to get a girl that young. they'd go lower if they could.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:25 PM
1

Agreed. I'm younger too, and there's a lot of effort going into this argument. If younger women really did like older men, then we would see it more in the world around us, and men wouldn't need to come online and make posts everyday of what we are attracted to.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:24 PM
1

Great point! The redpillers list exactly what draws them to younger women outside of looks and it's creepy (malleable, eager to please, easily pleased, submissive). Redpillers do more by speaking their truth than 'bitter feminists' could ever hope to do with propaganda if they were so inclined. And young women are paying attention. Though it's a bit of a non-issue, as young women don't really like much older (8+ years) men.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:21 PM
1

So younger women are wrong, older men who are fathers are wrong and older women are bitter and wrong? The only group that are right are the men who want to date women much younger than them? How convenient.
/r/PurplePillDebate10/06/23 08:18 PM
1

Young women are on Twitter, Tiktok, YouTube and Reddit speaking constantly about their revulsion to older men hitting on them. Also in real life I have heard it multiple times from my friends and female family members. I have also felt it myself. But part of the appeal of younger women for older men is the belief that young women have a 'malleability/willingness to believe what the man says', so men can ignore what they say/pressure them to date above their age. Regardless, women marry men on av…

/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/23 05:21 PM

Also often submissive = lazy. A submissive person isn't that way because they're just so devoted to the other person. It's because they can't be bothered and would rather put things onto the other person.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/23 05:17 PM

And if you ask the majority of redpillers what their past experience is, they either were cheated on/left by their wives or have never had a proper relationship.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/06/23 05:15 PM

I don't know any male-led relationships. I live in the UK, and I see plenty of long-lasting happy marriages, but they're equals. The man takes the lead in areas where he knows more. The woman does in areas that she knows more about. It's based on skillset, not gender, and is flexible. I see men who are more outgoing/type A than their wives, but the wives are still not submissive. I also know plenty of marriages where the woman is the more 'together/type A' one.

It's an insidious tactic to create a narrative where their personal preference is normalised, in the hopes that they will get what they want. For example, manosphere podcasters will say, 'men want..', or 'men don't care about' and then proceed to give an opinion that is entirely their own, or, at most, common in the manosphere. When they are met with, 'don't tarnish all men with the same brush. They aren't all like you. Most don't think like you.', they have a common response: *'Yeah, well, they…

'Whine about equality' yes, imagine not wanting to be second-class citizens. How 'whiny' we are. And pp men wonder why they're not where they wanted to be in life. They're resentful unfeeling arseholes. Also 55% of men have had a fantasy of being sexually dominated. Does that mean that women should rule men as over half of men 'seem to be up for it'? Or is the sexual not always political?
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:35 PM

Do you understand how disturbing it is for you to say 'this is why we shouldn't take women on their word' when we are talking about something that makes women as vulnerable as sex and violence.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:32 PM

We'll always attack men for spitting/choking/slapping/trying anal (anal rape) without consent from the woman. Unsolicited porn-induced aggression is a problem. Saying that some (even a lot of) women have certain fantasies mean nothing if men here can't tell the difference between a private fantasy and men subjecting things onto women without consent.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:29 PM

I thought most men, especially here, were sexually-deprived victims being put in the shadow by 20% shadow. Get your story straight.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:26 PM

Regardless of how many women you claim to have slept with, each woman is an individual who should not have things assumed of her, just because in a guy's experience 3/4 women have liked a certain thing. We are not buying toothpaste that dentists recommend. This is a sensitive issue.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:25 PM

Yes, I dislike how many men here are using the blanket statement of, 'yes, women want to be dominated whether they admit it or not'. If there's one topic where generalising women and ignoring what we say is especially bad, it's when it comes to sex. Conversations, respect, should always be there.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:22 PM

It's the same as how young women are the most likely to listen to true crime documentaries where women are hurt/killed. There's an element of 'this happens a lot - how can I deal with it?'

Yes, bodice-rippers from the 80s were mostly written by women and overwhelmingly read by women. There was a lot of 'ravishing going on' (rape by a barbarian/viking/King etc where the woman secretly had an attraction to him). There was evidence that a lot of Christian/otherwise very Conservative women were reading these books as a way to get around their fantasies that they otherwise had been conditioned to be ashamed off. There was an element of 'well, the woman can't be blamed for cheating/quic…
/r/PurplePillDebate30/05/23 09:17 PM

Something important to point out is how violence and degradation toward women has been normalised to the point that it's not extreme enough for either men not women to search out. A man could search 'big-boobed redhead and teacher' and still there is a chance that she will be slapped, spat on, choked due to the prevalence of these acts in porn.

A lot of men who end up at RP can't even attract a woman, let alone get to the position of possible marriage. Alimony only occurs in 10% of divorces. And with first marriages only 40% divorce. So men are complaining about a 4% of having to pay alimony as if it occurs to all men. If women were doing this, we'd be called dramatic. We weren't especially talking about 'good women'. The topic is whether men should cold-approach. And just as a man needs to like a woman, a woman needs to like the man. I'm in my 20s... and I hate the idea of exploiting people. It's nothing to do with competition. Women are dumping/divorcing 75% of the time. Women are leaving dating apps. You are the ones being rejected/left and instead of having a little humility and adjusting to our desires/needs, you are crossing your arms and saying 'better shape up, ladies!" Why would we shape up for the men we are leaving in droves lol? You aren't going to Iceland. You aren't going to New Zealand. You aren't going to Ital…

I'm in the UK and treated well on a day-to-day basis by women and men. I am fascinated, as a scientist is with a new species of insect, about the manosphere movement though - the entitlement, fragile egos, hypocrisy, misogyny and fear that there's no place where they can achieve anything if 50% of the population isn't being subordinated.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:44 AM

Yeah, but a Woman's sexuality is based on her own desires/needs/safety concerns. Why would a virgin/'chaste' woman sleep with man early on? It goes against her instincts/way of doing things. Or is this all about men's egos getting stroked? They don't want 'potential property' having been 'used' by too many other men, but they want her to throw safety concerns out of the window because he is just so damn desirable? 😂
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:39 AM

They could always go back to the country they came from. If you move to a country because it offers better opportunities, then you acclimatise to it. You don't expect it to mold to your preferences/what you're used to.

Are you toddlers? Why should you be taken care of? You're not wanting to act like adults, let alone 'leaders'?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:20 AM

Sick! Act exactly as I want or you may end up getting beaten. And for the many men to are lacklustre, disrespectful to women, should women next them quickly to shut down the men's bad behaviour? Or would that make women flaky, entitled, disloyal? Or should men get to act exactly as they like, even beating women up, and have nothing done about it?
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:19 AM

They do. That's why some men are talking about staying in the Woman's country so she won't 'get corrupted'. If all women can so easily get corrupted by feminism/freedom, then it's not truly their nature to be submissive humble homemakers.
/r/PurplePillDebate27/04/23 12:05 AM

Are women typically going for submissive humble men 20 years their junior who they want to stay and home and be financially dependent on them?

/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 11:59 PM

Desperate to push your views into a narrative. 'Successful men'. Most successful men are married to women with similar backgrounds (family wealth, education, etc). These marriages tend to last the longest.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 11:55 PM

It's not natural 'submissiveness'. It's conditioned. Nurture is the opposite of nature. You know this. Which is why so many men are scared to bring the woman to the US in case she leaves him/doesn't treat him as 'deferentially'. It's a shame that men would want a woman acting in an unnatural manner merely because it flatters his ego, but it's common among the passport bros.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 11:51 PM
1

Do you think the passport bros is tipping the scales in any meaningful way? Half of the time it won't be noticed that they left. They weren't wanted in the US. They say this themselves. And it's still a tiny movement when you think about the male population of the US. Most men have family/friends/community ties in the US, regardless of if they struggle a little dating.
/r/PurplePillDebate26/04/23 11:49 PM

Are you handsome? If not why do you deserve beautiful women? By cooperative do you mean will do whatever I say because I feel powerful bossing women around? If things are so great, why not leave PPD and the US?

Why do you frame things as if a man's commitment is some great prize/something women are eager for? Men give it out easily and women dump and divorce 75% of the time. It's not especially sought after. We don't want to be in your film. Don't worry! 😇 Try and lure a poor and naive woman, though, Mr Weinstein!

Why are you so obsessed with women being submissive, humble grateful and praising of the man? Is that why you go to traditional (poor) countries? Because marrying doesn't entitle you to a servant/punching bag for life? Poor oppressed men. Also, most redpill men don't get laid. They even admit that in more sober moments. So they don't have the option to have sex and perhaps give her the 'gift' of his commitment.

Men (and young ones) still have it. I feel for any women they are sleeping with. A third of women say they want it. So you're trying to shame the ones who don't. If a man doesn't want to be pegged/dressed up as a rabbit, the woman should respect his boundaries. Don't try to shame women for not wanting to be hurt/degraded and expressing those boundaries. Also, the woman needs to let the man know she wants that. He does not do it unsolicited. You do know what consent is, don't you? Not acting like…

The naturals I know don't put women down in any way (all these manosphere buzzwords like 'negging', 'disqualifying', 'push-pull', 'give an emotional rollercoastsr', etc). They banter back and forth with women, but it's light, fun and reciprocal. They are happy within themselves, so there's no obsessive attempt to 'elevate' themselves above the woman/make her insecure.
/r/PurplePillDebate01/04/23 12:29 PM

It's spoken about all the time on here and all the dating site subs? It's on Twitter, YouTube. If you care to look, it takes 2 seconds. Is that what you call a woman who holds a different opinion to you? 'A cryer and a bitcher'? Are you crying then, too, or is that somehow different?
/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/23 10:16 AM

/r/PurplePillDebate20/03/23 08:10 AM

Nah, we just want our equivalents. There is more risk/hassle for women. Men hospitalise/severely abuse more than vice versa, cheat more, have porn addictions, want to hurt/degrade women in bed to feel 'dominant', have a damaging addiction, do less around the house even if they both work etc Women want someone who will make them happier than they are single. Look at what I wrote. Dating apps are quickly losing female users, not male. The rates of male:female users are 4:1 a lot of the time. Nightclubs and social events since covid are introducing more and more 'women get in for free' deals because they're becoming really man-heavy. Women are working more, in education more and with their friends more. Men may be dropping out if they can't find anyone. Women don't want to find anyone.

Women do dump and divorce men more than vice versa, but some also hang on to long/give too many chances and compromise their values/happiness in the process e.g. a woman taking a man back once he cheats, believing him when he says he will do more around the house/for her in bed, etc for years, and of course abuse.

How you describe it is not how I've seen others describe it. They describe is more like 'here are ways to make your frame her reality', which seems quite manipulative/like brainwashing. Women were second class citizens (and still are disadvantaged in certain ways, but we're working on it). The average guy is not generally the head of household. Women do not generally defer to male leadership. What a strange idea. I don't know where you're from (deep south religious community) or if this is a fantasy you're trying to push as a narrative. Women dump men x3 as much as men dump women, women turn down offers to move in, marriage all time. Women divorce men x3 as much as the reverse. Technically, the man is the gatekeeper in the sense that he tends to be the one to initiate things, to act like he has the power and women are dancing on his string is ludicrous when you look at the data.

They've done numerous studies on this. Men want more of any kind of interaction with women. Women want less of any kind of interaction with men. There are many women who have never had casual sex. For other reasons (focus on themselves, not wanting to settle down) they want to stay single.

Women could be raped, beaten (so long as he did not kill or maim her), imprisoned, starved, committed to an asylum, be removed from her children and forced to hand over her earnings to a husband who could choose to spend them on prostitutes/drink. Many of you still do feel entitled to interaction/attention, sex, relationships, marriage and children from a woman, even the most hateful among you - in fact, I would say that the most hateful among you are the ones who still want to demand an allotted woman for whatever you want in the particular moment.
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/23 10:23 PM

Why should a woman have to 'enter a man's life' as a 'complement'. Relationships should be about two self-actualised people coming together and sharing their already-developed lives. A woman is not a trophy, appendage or prop/orbiter. How can you believe things like this and turn around and call women solipsistic/narcissistic/delusional?
/r/PurplePillDebate17/03/23 10:03 PM

Why do they care about their mother's looks? How strange! I do not think of how well or not my dad has aged at all. Are manosphere men that hypersexual?

Men have always given women a hard time over aging and being single/financially independent. It's what the witch trials was driven by: fear of women not needing men.

Nah, we leave men alone. We don't post bitter comments when an actor looks happy - whether he's single or not.

Emma Watson is a noted feminist. They hate her for that. They also hate her for being a feminist but dating a tall muscular rugby guy at one point? Because feminists aren't allowed to do that for some reason?

Emilia Clarke seems like an extremely warm/cheerful woman. Anyone worthwhile would focus on that - not that a 36yo has crows' feet when they are grinning from ear to ear? Would they rather she had surgery so they could mock her like they did Madonna? Or are they just noticing that she's single and so she must be punished.

They also try to get women to be wary of one another. They speak about the importance of having an older mentor/father figure to help a man out in life, but whenever an older women says anything to a younger woman relating to men based on her own experiences, the men try to tell the young women, 'she's just jealous and bitter.' Whereas traditional femininity (which men claim to love) being thrust onto women for millennia made women vulnerable, weak, dependent and caused an untold amount of suffering. So I'm not a criminal. If I went on a dating site, should I list that as one of my best qualities? You can't have much going for you if not breaking the law is a positive trait? I am from the UK. The average citizen has been to multiple countries. Culture/wealth/education doesn't come into it that much. What could a life challenge be for a woman? That she would need protection from you?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/23 06:38 PM

Why are you telling a woman what women like? Are you trying to sell me a narrative? Are you saying that holistic things (kindness, 'femininity', nurturing abilities) don't count when it comes to women?

Why is so much of men's depression, loneliness and suicide linked with being single, then? Are you telling me it's because their desperate for kids but just kind find a womb go fit the bill? If I didn't care about their values and aspirations after spending time with them, that would indicate to me that I wasn't all that fussed about them as a person and didn't want to continue to see them. The point OP is making is, can you like a person outside of what they potentially do for you?
/r/PurplePillDebate11/03/23 02:13 PM

Being trad is bad (to push at a societal level) if most women don't want it. Many things happened since the beginning of time, doesn't mean we should choose to go along with it now. Women employing choice involves some men not being picked/stayed with. Redpill is a male-first look at things, I understand, but so much of what you wrote completely discards the wants/needs/views of women in any capacity. But I'm saying they clearly don't work. Russia does have more rigid gender roles, but how can it be said that it's working out - for women and for men - if it ultimately leads to divorce so much? I still think it's shocking how oppressed/in danger women need to be for men to 'not encounter the same problems dating'. What does that do to children, to see their mother subjected to that? Why did you pick a country where The Taliban controls every aspect of women's lives and dare to speak about fairness? Or does that not compare to 10% of divorced husbands having to pay alimony (mostly if they wanted a housewife)? This is bonkers.

Women have no issues with conversing with people they know and female strangers, but there are so many 'pick up/cold approach/game' social media accounts that show women who care to look just what the men using these methods think of women and how they think it's acceptable to treat them. Women are right to be wary of being approached in public, especially if it's from a man spitting '100% guaranteed number-getting' lines at her.

Unnattractive men can go for unnattractive women. This 'I have Trp "game" and will get my pretty, devoted gf/wife or "bad things will happen"' is astonishingly entitled. How is 'getting wifed up' being lucky? I hope the woman above is happy, but merely 'getting wifed up' isn't some great achievement for a woman. A lot of the time the woman is burdened, and it is the MAN who is happier. Women are attracted to looks. Stop denying that. Stop telling us what we're attracted to in such binary terms. It's like you're trying to convince us (or yourselves). Most pretty young women would rather a handsome man around their age, who is not in debt and has a decent job, that a 40yo 'strong' man with status. You do realise all of this is part of the reason more and more men aren't getting sex or any interactions with women? And that women are way more likely to 'drag a man along/flake'. We see men support a man who promotes harmful behaviour to women/girls. This is why we're leaving dating apps, not going to clubs so much/not wanting to be stop on the street. The spilling out of this toxic brand of humbling women/being a man turns us away.

When you point out that you like/are drawn to a specific person, because he is a misogynist, it can be assumed that you are one too, no? Why would like a woman purely because she hates black people if I am actually against racism? Makes no sense. Casual woman-hating has been around for millennia, as well as straight up mistreatment that often didn't receive consequences. Now that men are getting some jokes/belittling back as well as accountability and repercussions (or, at least, more than in th…

Much of what we see online is a mirage.. propaganda. Plenty of decent kind otherwise average men are coupling up with decent kind otherwise average women quietly and happily. The alpha caricatures shout the loudest, but where's the proof? Where's Fresh or Fit or Richard Cooper or any of the other's amazing feminine wifeys? Most women are repulsed by that sort of thing, and those who aren't are not likely to be going in anyone's amazing wholesome woman tier.

It does. We're talking about men who are struggling with their looks/the opposite sex. You references your own experiences, and I replied that this isn't unique to men.

It wasn't rich men per se; it was royal and aristocratic men, and that was because more was down to political alliances between countries and houses/heirs, rather than desire/love. The other 99% stuck to their age.
/r/PurplePillDebate03/02/23 03:34 AM

This isn't unique to men, though. There are women who were bullied mercilessly at school for being fat/ugly/having acne, whatever. They aren't sitting around expecting society to hand them a man on a plate for sex and relationships. They still realise it's on them.

There are so many really famous people who talk about not knowing who to trust, because they feel like everyone is just with them for money/fame. I agree with the purely physical justification. But, often, especially if the man wants marriage, other things come into it than just looks. If, for example he has children and especially daughters. My dad dated around in his late 40s/50s, and he never wanted anyone younger than 5 years younger. He didn't want more children so that wasn't an issue. I think the healthy role model thing is huge too. Young men and boys are looking up to Andrew Tate because he seems to them to be 'in control and masculine' to the point of parody. I'm not really talking about education or even intelligence. I'm talking about poverty and naivety. Extreme difference in class is one many things that can lead to a power imbalance. With men scouting run-down foreign towns, it's often to do with more than just class.

Why do you act as if unnattractive men who want hot women are going through hell? They would consider someone on their level as 'slumming it', yet you're surprised when we lean towards mockery rather than sympathy. Incels were mentioned. The idea of the girl being a consenting adult often is fought against in incel discussions. I'll say this for the 50th time. In a lot of ways women in Western Europe (live here) are even more 'modern' because a lot of countries are more secular than the US; there's a complete separation of church and state. Each country has its problems. Russia, Belarus, etc have very high divorce rates. Thailand and Colombia have high rates of cheating for women and men. I post this because when asked what makes a feminine woman, this is what most MEN here point to first. I am believing what the men say and working backwards as to why. Perhaps that's because many men literally insult another man by saying, 'pathetic, femininine, weak'. We don't hate being women/being feminine. But it's for us to decide. What we hate is men definining Femininity (in self-serving ways, often at the expense to the Woman's dignity, happiness and even safety) and then using it as an …

I don't know or care about the details of one relationship, but in general, when one person is richer, older (and, if a man, physically stronger) then that person tends to hold a lot of power. In many of the cases, it may turn out well. There is still a squeamishness about a man targeting a country that will make this a selling point against him I.e. a positive trait I have is that I will be less likely to beat you than a man from your own country (but still more likely than a man from my country who goes for a woman from my country.) It's not just about the Thai Woman's odds. It's the knowledge that the sort of man drawn to this is more likely to mistreat a woman that his peers.

How many men (not just here, but guys who try to internationally date) rant about female impossible standards/entitlement, but then go to a specific country because he 'requires' a 'top tier gorgeous girl', even tough he is lacklustre himself. Men and women each try to date up in different ways.

It depends how you define redpill in this context. Many people didn't raise their sons to embrace redpill as it didn't exist as an easy to reference thing. I'd say a lot of boys are raised to try not to think of women as children, and to not emotionally abuse them so that they won't leave. which are redpill beliefs, I believe. I see 90% as a huge majority. I used 90% because I've seen it used frequently by redpill men when they complain about how they're the stalwarts in a sea of plugged in men.

The men specifically go to poorer countries. A stat has been posted here that 75% of Thai women experience violence. They're vulnerable. Not all, but for men seeking them out, that seems to be the selling point.
/r/PurplePillDebate30/01/23 06:23 PM

Also, I'm not telling Thai women anything. They have their own voices, and often speak about this stuff online (if you care to look). I'm talking to PPD women, suggesting they don't bow to being shamed for seeing it as sleazy.

I don't think anyone needs information about how bad certain countries are when it comes to violence against women. Most women (and men) feel squeamish about the idea that men view women from countries where abuse is rife as being 'more of how a woman should be/more of what I like.' Almost as if 'their ideal feminine woman' is conditioned into submission by poor treatment. That doesn't sit right with a lot of people. In sheer numbers, women may very well have a better chance than they would with…

But I thought a bunch of women were going to Africa and sleeping with poor men? Which is it? Of course. But deliberately going to a certain country (always poorer/always less developed) for women raises questions, and it makes sense that it does. It depends how you define progressive. If you're talking about a woman who has progressive views towards her own rights (fighting to not be raped/beaten by her husband/retain control over own money/work, etc) then these men don't need any shaming from women. They're exposing themselves.

Why do you have such a problem with women smearing passport bros, when you clearly have no issue at all smearing women? Domestic abuse complaints are higher for Western men and non-western women than they are for western men and western women pairings. The danger signs are there. You don't think it speaks badly to men leaving? Good for you. Go, then. But you can't force women and other men to not view something as slimy.

I agree in both cases. If two people enter into the situation with eyes wide open and see potential happiness/benefits, then who are random internet people to judge how things should be? I do still find it a little odd that so many men will frame the 'man who is a 4 with the woman who is an 8' as the 'natural' way things ought to be and that poor American men ought to experience this as their own country has dating dynamics that are so out of whack.

The OP says it in his third paragraph, when talking about the excellent options most men are missing out on when it comes to older/other cultures. My point isn't about how doable it is for the woman. If I were to say, feminists make themselves/other women their no.1 priority, whereas feminine women put a man/men in general as the top priority, would you view that as accurate? They then go down the whole, 'women are sex objects/men are success objects.. women are liked for their beauty/men are liked for their ability to provide resources ', but whenever there's a hint that a woman is drawn to a man for his resources she is branded a golddigger/is settling for him and will cheat/leave before long. Do they adore 'their girls'? Men and women on here seem to have a different view of respect. When women talk about wanting a man who treats them with respect, they speak about basic civility and acknowledgement that one human pays to another. I'd like to point out that in many countries, for centuries, the age gap has been pretty small. This idea of 35yo men marrying 15yo women is skewed by focusing overly on royalty/aristocracy who a) have their own rules b) made up no more than 1% of the population. In 17th century France, women got married for the first time at 25 and men were 27. In 18th century England it was 26 for women and 28 for men.
