I don't know what you mean by this. If emotional intelligence means you are always in touch with your emotions, you know how they affect you, and you fully accept them, then no it is not bullshit. That is the closest you will ever get to 'controlling' them. But it won't happen unless you actually feel them first.

Well what you say doesn't actually matter. Say what you feel. All that matters is that you actually DO go up and say something and try talking to the girl. From there its really just going to be something you develop. The original pickup artist didn't have any book or video to tell him what to say. He went up to lots of girls, got comfortable approaching them and figured out how to talk to them along the way. If you absolutely MUST know what to do then I recommend you learn some routines. I disagree with this. You should feel your emotions, not try to suppress them. Pickup is an emotionally chaotic process. Trying to "control" your emotions is just going to end in disaster.

The point is to change your thought process from "I win if I get her or I lose if she rejects me" to "I win if I talk to her or I lose if I chicken out" If you are worried about 'interrupting' people then you really aren't serious about picking up girls dude.
