Its been a couple weeks since my last update. Mostly slow progress with occasional setbacks. SHIT I'M OWNING STRENGTH Missed one day of lifting while out on an all day family trip. Continued to up by 5 lbs per dumbell per week according to my plan, currently sitting at 20 plus the bar. I'm sure I look almost exactly the same, but the results are noticable to the most important person, namely me. SWIMMING Missed one day here as well, as the pool I use was closed on Labor Day. I've been following …

This morning my wife called me out on my behavior recently, covering months before finding MRP, and initially I gave a shitty excuse. Then after getting ready for work I pulled her aside and owned all my unfair shitty bitter resentful attitude then gave her some genuine beta feelz without it being part of a covert contract. I have met the enemy, and he is me.

Where I am is due to how I have been living, not how I am living. Keep it up and I will earn the change I want.

Your advice is sound, both of you. I'm not sure how much I can apply at the moment, since my Frame is essentially nonexistent. Doing things for myself over the last couple weeks is causing me some serious cognitive dissonance that I have to fight through.

Updating progress on what I'm working on. Swimming Going twice a week, upping yardage by 10% a week. Focusing on fixed interval 50 yard sprints rather than the bullshit slow paced endurance crap. Have a plan to a get to a mile per session in about 10 weeks. Intervals will be lowered as I can handle it. Lifting Lifted three times last week doing a dumbbell workout. Increasing from 13 to 18 this week. Planning on going up 5 lbs per week. I'm going to need to get to a sporting goods store sometime …

I am going through the sidebar, I just didn't mention it. NMMNG is on audible playing on my commutes and the other two you mentioned on on Kindle. Thanks for the advice, and for taking the time.

To be fair, she's owned her mental health for a very long ass time and I'm likely being unfair to her so that I can blame her instead of my own damn self. I notice over the past week or so as I've started changing my outlook that my resentment towards her has gone down a lot. I'm angry, but at myself for letting things get to where they're at. Proving that I am the problem, not her, the reaction to setting that boundary was an extremely minor comment on the way out that she was staying up 'till …

I see your point. In my case, the worst in the past has been pretty bad. Credible possibilities that somebody was going to end up dead. If that happens again, I call the police. My problem is that I need to internalize that this scenario is not my fault, and my actions didn't cause it. Being a martyr sucks. What is likely to happen is typical stuff, and I should handle it like you suggest. Even if I know it on some level, its good to have somebody else say it to me. Please for the love of pete d…
