You are blaming the victim (husband) here. Its not his fault. His only fault is that, he married a liar and manipulator. I'm not saying it's his fault, I'm saying that in order for this to even be possible, they both need to not want children in the first place, and you shouldn't be having sex unless you both would accept a child.

Neither attempting to avoid a pregnancy nor being willing to terminate it are the same as denying the possibility of pregnancy. That's exactly what it is. I don't mean deny as in "that will never happen", I mean deny as in "we will take steps to ensure this doesn't happen".

No, the point is not to only have sex to make children, but to not actively deny the body from creating children. Sex has two purposes: a consummation of the holy union of Matrimony through an act of physical love, and for the creation of children. Sex must only be for both of those purposes, not one or the other, or for neither.
