I’ve heard “sum dum guy” before. Didn’t know if “Cream” and “young” were your additions or not, but either way, the fact that you used this joke in an actual moment like this makes it so much better. Let us know what happens next! Haha

Overthinking, but I’m ALMOST sensing a red flag on your end with when I asked what specifically she just rambled on I really hope that was just for the sake of the post and you didn’t want to get into it. I hope you were listening to her very important and thoughtfully, because if you want to make her happy in a relationship this is like, CRITICAL info. You’re not being a thoughtful boyfriend if you tuned this out. It better not have been a cartoon moment where it’s all muffled and you were dayd…

Idk who Corey Wayne is, but I wouldn’t take advice from anyone who says you should get back together with an ex. 99.9% of the time it’s a bad idea.

It’s a thing you can type on reddit where a bot will remind you to come back to a post after a given amount of time. I’m rooting for you to get some milf action, and don’t want to forget about checking back for an update.

Would be interesting to see if one gender was more often not going for what they wrote down compared to the other gender

Well, yeah. I meant that it’s not a good first date idea, but I didn’t really add that stipulation in my first message. You’re right, later on it definitely is fine

Not a red flag... Is it a red flag that OP wanted to go on a movie date? I think most of us enter the dating world thinking that a movie date is a good idea... blame Hollywood, lol

Stop calling comments “proof”, your comment or any comment here is NOT “proof”. And stop talking about your comment, just stop being a lazy ass and actually link to it if you want to refer to your proof so freaking much

girls have a good way of casually dropping the fact that they have a boyfriend Really? You and I must be talking to different girls haha

That literally rights itsself man. “Maybe you could show me a good coffee shop sometime. You should give me your number.” If you really hate coffee, just get tea or a pastry. But that approach would probably do you well

because you can deadlift 181.6 KGs No, he said CLOSE TO 400 lbs. 181.6 KGs is slightly over. It seems that he didn’t quite hit the mark...

If something happens once, it’s an occurrence. If it happens twice, it’s a coincidence. If it happens three times, THEN it’s a pattern. Don’t assume something is a you thing just because it’s happened to you with two different people.

Consider it a response to the reddit hivemind. I explained why my comment was reasonable and NON PRESUMPTUOUS, and you failed to make any counterpoint
/r/seduction21/06/21 02:14 AM

Someone asked why it was a bad time to talk to someone. I was simply answering. You can defend OP for hesitating, but I am simply answering a practical question
/r/seduction17/06/21 06:37 AM
1

That was my assumption anyways That was my assumption Okay, so just because I’m not assuming the best lime you are, that means I’m assuming the worst? I’m simply just saying he could be 18 or 30 by the information given. Is that really so bad? Even if he was 30, the dude backed off as soon as he realized he was fucking it up Not exactly. He backed up when he found out he was 16. As far as I know, he could have been a 30 year old who thought it was okay to hit on an 18 year old. Or he could be 18…
/r/seduction17/06/21 05:12 AM

Right? Bizarre. I’m just saying that the age determines how sketchy it was or wasn’t. I’m not making assumptions lol
/r/seduction17/06/21 05:05 AM

He should have yeah, but he fucked up I was initially just answering a question as to why it’s a bad time. It seems like you agree with me then...

Are you honestly telling me that her boss was right next to her for the entire “couple hours” you were there? I’ve worked in a couple coffee shops, and I find it hard to believe she didn’t have a moment away from her boss.
/r/seduction16/06/21 12:50 PM
3

It’s not “reality”, I’m just speculating different possibilities. Dunno why that earned me some downvotes lol
/r/seduction16/06/21 12:48 PM
3

How did I assume the worst? I said he didn’t say his age, and I care IF he is 30. I never said I thought he was. I said he could be potentially 18 as well. And I don’t see how the drinking age is relevant, as I said it would be reasonable for someone at age 18 to be attracted to a 16 year old. So please enlighten me as to the negative nature of my comment
/r/seduction16/06/21 12:48 PM

But he could have talked to her before it came to that point...
/r/seduction16/06/21 12:45 PM

Then either you don’t often make girls uncomfortable, or are unaware of it. Don’t only take from your own experience. Nervous laughter is definitely a thing.
/r/seduction16/06/21 12:43 PM
8

Okay but you specifically pointed out that laughing equals joy or finding something funny. I’m saying that is presumptuous.
/r/seduction15/06/21 11:13 PM
8

Sometimes people laugh out of discomfort and nervousness. Can’t say weather or not that’s what was happening here, but just pointing this possibility out
/r/seduction15/06/21 11:11 PM

Okay, yeah. Once the time had elapsed and she was leaving, it wasn’t really a fuck up. I’m just saying that waiting that long in the first place was a fuck up. But yeah, we are more or less on the same page then
/r/seduction15/06/21 11:08 PM
4

Well then you agree with me, because OP waited a while to approach her just as she was leaving. From what you said, it sounds like we both think he should have done it sooner.
/r/seduction15/06/21 11:05 PM
16

Well said haha
/r/seduction15/06/21 11:03 PM
6

Yeah, he loses nothing IF IT WAS HIS ONLY OPTION, but it sounded like he waited around a while before this approach. OP chose to approach in a “not ideal” scenario, as you put it, when he had an alternative, so it’s a fuck up. I wouldn’t call it that if the alternative was not approaching her at all.
/r/seduction15/06/21 10:52 PM
-20

Well yeah, but as someone uninvolved, I care less about the legality of a potential 18 year old reasonably being attracted to a 16 year old, and more about if this was a skeezy 30 year old guy approaching someone that he thought was 18.
/r/seduction15/06/21 10:51 PM
24

Okay but clearly she HADN’T given clear signs of interest in OPs story. And even if she had, it would be better to approach her before she was getting into her car. If he’s well-groomed, presentable, and non-threatening, approaching her at her car would still be doing it with less cards in his favor. Well-groomed or not, time and place is a factor.
/r/seduction15/06/21 10:49 PM
56

Was it? I don’t think OP said his age
/r/seduction15/06/21 10:05 PM
111

A couple reasons. One is that it’s not a time that a woman is most comfortable. A LOT of assault and abductions happen when people are getting into their car, and women are usually aware of this fact. As a man, I’m already a little sketched out if a guy approaches me while I’m getting in my car. And the other reason is that she was about to be on her way. The interaction is less organic and casual, as she’s trying to drive away to wherever she has to be, and you are stalling her so she can talk …
/r/seduction15/06/21 10:04 PM
1

Well, sure, but OP was talking about the capacity in which someone can intentionally play hard to get, so I was talking about the (lack of) validity in it being an effective intentional strategy
/r/seduction27/11/19 12:24 PM
17

Even though many guys put up with it, it normally doesn’t create more interest than seeming interested and available does. Just because the strategy doesn’t push most guys away, doesn’t really mean it’s effective.

That last point is new to me and I really like it!
