Also, I think the most of the situations in which women have maybe only gotten a slap on the wrist is when they killed their abusive partner, and they themselves were not the abuser, at least not originally.

I don't it's bias because people just write books and documentaries on what they find interesting/already know about, whether or not it's horrific. So I don't think it is the women are wonderful concept. A murder is a murderer. Whatever their gender, they still committed a horrific act. I agree that their is more info and such about male serial killers, but that doesn't particularly bother me. I think the real ordeal is that people commit murder in the first place. First of all, thank you for your response. I was wondering if you could elaborate or give a few examples. It's not that I don't believe in men's sacrifice being taken as a given, it's just that I would like to hear some examples to help me understand better. Would you say that situations like women and children getting rescued first when boats sink could be seen as an example of this, at least in the 1900s?

I believe that the whole scared of men part is really quite sad. I think it's unfortunate that it extends as far as men simply doing a job they were payed to do. It's really quite sad that the author fears cisgender men this much. But, if you read the whole article, as much as the cisgender men thing stands out, the author also mentions many a reasonable things. For example, the college sent them an email 24h before the installment. I believe that they should've have been given at least a weeks …
