because men don’t want to be behind a child and a pet. Oh god, the pet thing.... sometimes pets are worse to deal with than kids. Kids at least sometimes have weekend visitations with the dad, or you can drop them off at the babysitter. Nothing cuts a date short like "I have to go home and feed/walk/medicate Fido".

but the South has a way of making it virtually impossible to obtain without much travel and many hoops to jump through. If only they had put in a fraction of that same effort protecting themselves that wouldn't be an issue.
