lol, what made you think I’m a centrist? And I’m happy to define incel for you. The core of being an incel is the inability to accept responsibility for your own circumstances, and the need to blame women for their own shortcomings. “Women won’t date me because they only like chads”. Nah bro, they won’t date you because you have an awful personality. Basically, it turns being a sad virgin into a victim complex. Meanwhile, they wouldn’t date the female equivalent of themselves either, making them…

Yep. That’s a reasonable take.

Perfect example of making it a battle of the sexes rather than what it actually is. You’re no better than the women you despise. And no, incel has a very clear meaning, although not the one the people who originally celebrated the term think it does. Incels actions are what gave the term its stigma. And I’m well aware I can leave. I won’t, but I am well aware I can.

I don’t mind the term, what bothers me is they never seem to point out the women who support it, only the men. Same with the pro life movement, 33% of women are pro-life, yet it is always framed as “men trying to control women”. This isn’t a men against women issue, it’s a progressive vs conservative issue. I have more in common with a progressive woman than I do a conservative man, but I don’t think militant feminists really see us as on the same side.

You’re right. I was recommended this sub, but honestly it just seems like incels most of the time. Men have legitimate issues, but when misogynists wanting an excuse to hate on women proclaim themselves as men’s rights activists, it makes the rest of us look bad by association.

This is a “no true Scotsman” fallacy. They may use the same methods as the right, but they are a left wing problem that we need to face head on.

I’d just correct them. “Certain men will only listen to other men. The fact that I’m listening to you right now proves that”. I think the “we need to police our own sides” argument is a decent one, if applied to BOTH sides.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
