A therapist can help. Especially ones geared towards relationships

Women that flake on me do so bc they weren’t really interested in the first place. Can’t give someone a second chance if they aren’t looking for that in the first place

So then explain those basics

I wish there was actual advice on this subreddit instead of the same recycled and flawed methods

Still trying to figure out the answer myself. No one seems to have a real answer for that

I have similar issues. When I want casual, I attract the opposite. When I want long term, the women I attract don’t want that. Idk what to make of it so I’m giving up for now

Are there actual posts in this subreddit that are useful or is it just all posts like these??

I have had this problem for a long time. Slowly getting better over time but I also never feel like I could get a woman when I want to so idk

I’m 30 and still haven’t figured it out. I feel like I just don’t have it

Lmaooo to be fair I live in a small town so not much going on here. When I go to a city for the night I get some matches that day

25-30 matches a week? You had it good man. Never had more than 2 matches in a week

If that were the case then I’d be Wilt Chamberlin

Going back to this. My mindset has unfortunately been a negative one with dating. I got rejected a lot as a teen and never really learned from it and it affected my confidence quite a bit. Approaching women in real life gives me anxiety still and I end up holding back from fear of judgement and more rejection. I feel I struggle with making a connection in general

I try to be similar honestly. I’m pretty introverted unless I’m around close friends. I can be funny when I’m feeling confident and I’m charming when I’m not overthinking it. My problem is I’m constantly overthinking

This is a great comment. Thank you for this

Yea pretty much. I did see a woman for a few months but we weren’t exclusive so I don’t really count that

It was a one night stand. Went to a bar with a group and one of the girls there asked me to get a drink with her. Not sure about all the details since I was pretty drunk but we ended up making out and eventually made our way back to her place. Somehow I was able to have sex despite being near blackout and from what I remember, I enjoyed it.

I’ve never actually thought of saying that. I’ll try it out

Good idea but I need to get my ass out there and talk to women in person before I can do that

Yea it’s been a while. I did date a chick for a few months last year but she didn’t want to have sex unfortunately. She moved away so it doesn’t matter now but it’s been over a year for sex

You’re right I just have to find a way to engrave that into my mind

I work in retail so that’s helped a lot. It’s when I wanna escalate things that I feel anxious
/r/seduction31/01/22 06:40 PM

And yea you’re right. Women could be nervous talking to me too but I’m too stuck in my own head to realize that at times

Honestly the part that bothers me the most is I get performance anxiety and don’t exactly know how to get rid of it. I’m in therapy and will be bringing it up to them

I’m 28. 3 or 4. I haven’t felt like I really prospered sexually to be honest, most of my sexual encounters didn’t go well for me so I had a negative mindset

If it were easy this subreddit probably wouldn’t exist. Some of you have it much better than others, whether it be confidence, looks, money or whatever women like these days. Women are too complicated for simplicity
/r/seduction01/05/20 08:46 PM

My approach rate is literally 0% and I do approach women when my anxiety doesn’t cause me to freeze up

You’re definitely on to something. Hash runs sound pretty damn good to me, I’m still in decent shape. Plus it wouldn’t hurt to learn how to dance better
/r/seduction13/09/18 04:35 AM

Yes, I just haven’t found anything as of yet. I’d honestly have to go out of town for that, not that I don’t want to. If it means that I can improve my life I’ll do it.

My dating life has been lackluster so as pathetic as this might sound, I consider a girl wanting to talk to me for more than a day to be some sort of success. I would much rather meet girls in real life instead of dating apps but I don’t have much of a social life right now
/r/seduction13/09/18 02:29 AM

If only I asked this yesterday, I might’ve been able to save myself
/r/seduction13/09/18 01:40 AM

She also laughed and said ok when I apologized. That ship has sailed unfortunately. I just wanna break the cycle of failure
/r/seduction13/09/18 01:32 AM

I didn’t know her outside of texting so it’s not like I’m in love, it just sucks because I’ve been fucking up with about 99.9% of the girls I talk to. I’m 25, girls my age are going to want guys that know what they’re doing. I still don’t so I’m already at a disadvantage
/r/seduction13/09/18 01:31 AM

She laughed and said ok, she definitely doesn’t believe me
/r/seduction13/09/18 01:22 AM

I’ve tried. She’s pissed at that and the fact that we never actually met up. I doubt she wants to talk to me after both of those things

Because the sarcasm was so obvious, right?

We weren’t born to jerk off so it’s not natural at all. It only feels natural because of the society we live in
/r/seduction12/09/18 05:38 AM

I expected to get downvoted for that, it’s true though. I’ve never felt better after doing it

Jerkin off is counter productive and keeps guys from pursuing women

I understand. I do some of those things already. It’s just when things escalate that I fail. The worst part is I never know where I went wrong and that just kills my confidence. There’s not a whole lot to do in my town but I do need to find something outside of the gym and work. Obviously I need to do something different but I don’t know what that is for sure.

When it comes to flirting, I just can’t figure out how to do it. Every time I think I do, i fuck up someway and it usually ends not in my favor. It makes it hard to be motivated and confident. Currently I don’t have much of a social life so I’ve mainly used tinder, which doesn’t help me either.
/r/seduction11/09/18 08:17 PM

I feel this man. I was the one in my friend group who never got laid in college and my so called friends shit on me constantly for that. It definitely took my confidence down a few notches.
/r/seduction19/04/18 06:21 PM

Well I at least have the look good part going for me. It’s feeling good inside that I struggle with
/r/seduction16/04/18 02:40 AM
2

You’re right. I’ve done a lot of improving over the last year but I still have so much more to go. It’s hard undoing years of self hate but I won’t give up on myself anymore
/r/seduction16/04/18 02:09 AM

As for the girl I hooked up with, she has a busy work schedule so we rarely have time to meet up ever
/r/seduction16/04/18 02:02 AM

Not saying this is bad advice at all, it’s just that I’ve tried to go back to this so many times and I’ve yet to figure out how to make that work for me. Not worrying about girls works for a while until that loneliness kicks in again 😕

I’m basically in the same boat, minus the traveling. You could talk about how that’s one of your hobbies and talk about your foreign adventures.

Sounds good. Now I have to regain my social life again. The only thing I've been doing for the most part the past year is work and go to the gym. When it's nice out I like to go on hikes but I haven't had time for that in a while. Online dating hasn't been very successful for me either but I gotta figure out a way to meet women regularly

That's solid advice but unfortunately flirting is just something I'm not very good at either. I've had times where I could strike up conversation with no problems but when it came time to flirt, I either froze up or ended up sounding forced and unnatural. I've had times in my past where I ended up creeping a few girls out unintentionally and I guess as a result, I have a fear that if I say the wrong thing that I'll just creep another girl out and fuck things up again. I may sound like I'm all ov…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
