| 2 | Advise for full custodyIf you step into a court room right now depending on your state she will be given standard possession with you most likely being primary. There is no real argument against 50-50 unless she lives far away or is a threat to the child. I know it seems harsh but family court is harsh, and a judge wont look at 18 nights “away” over a 5 month period as a big deal esp if she is breadwinner. Most courts also don’t really care about infidelity unfortunately. So my answer is no you won’t get full custody … | /r/Divorce_Men | 24/01/24 03:44 AM |
| 1 | My ex just got a ridiculous OFP against me and 3/4 children. I can’t believe she did this. This was easily the dumbest thing she’s ever done.This | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/01/24 07:55 PM |
| 1 | My ex just got a ridiculous OFP against me and 3/4 children. I can’t believe she did this. This was easily the dumbest thing she’s ever done.So did she lie or exaggerate? What would there be to exaggerate if no actual violence happened. think in terms of how a judge will hear what you are saying. If it has no basis for it fight to get it dismissed, but if you fight it don’t go in bashing your ex and using counterproductive language. Why are your attorneys telling you to wait until mediation? | /r/Divorce_Men | 15/01/24 02:52 PM |
