You can definitely get in trouble for one in the bedroom. That’s what a caveat is..

You are the reason good men end up in prison. You are forcing people to put themselves at vulnerable position. Risk their lives for your pseudo morality. You are Advocating for drakonian laws (only female consent) and pressuring men to take all the responsibility and at the same time uphold chivalry. Literally wtf are you talking about. My only position is that it's illegal to record someone having sex without their knowledge or consent. You're arguing with a 20 foot strawman you fucking crazy p…

You are assuming the worst when man acts (recording sex?), at same time you are giving all the benefit of doubt for the women. How am I giving the benefit of doubt to women? All I said was it's illegal to record someone having sex without their knowledge or consent. Now why are you making me or any other men look evil? The mental gymnastics you just jumped through to play victim is astounding.

No one is saying to record the sex act. Okay, good. That's all I'm talking about. Reccord her consensual actions. FYI: kissing, approaching or touching sexual. With clothes And then get up, go turn off the cameras and go back to business? What the hell are you talking about? Do you actually do this during sexual encounters? How is this easier then just informing her that you have surveillance cameras in your house and letting her make the decision whether she wants to proceed? Yes, wire tap law …
/r/MensRights10/09/21 05:36 PM
-2

It's not illegal. I am not a lawyer, but I'm almost positive this violates the Wiretap Act. A person having sex in a bedroom has a reasonable expectation of privacy and nonconsensual recording would be a violation.

rather offending someone once Recording someone having sex without their knowledge or consent is a lot more than "offending someone once". Come on... You really think it is okay to invite a woman into your home and record her having sex without telling her?

This sub can be a very weird place..

So I’m going back on my statement that since it’s my house, I’m allowed to record my house. Sure, but there are definitely caveats.
/r/MensRights10/09/21 01:11 PM

You definitely can't record someone having sex without their knowledge or consent. It would be pretty creepy to invite a girl over and then record it without letting her know.. wtf

People are allowed to state what kind of clothing they're attracted to lol. No different then a guy say he likes it when women wear sundresses or yoga pants.
/r/MensRights24/07/20 11:32 PM

Legitimate women's issues exist just like legitimate men's issues exist. This is not a legitimate women's issue and the post is framing all women's issues as trivial as this one, which just isn't true.

Those, among other things.

I'm pretty sure feminists are focused on other issues, too. You can agree or disagree with feminist but I'm pretty sure they're advocating for more than the right to go topless lol. Wtf is this post.

You're entire post history is posts and comment disparaging Yang.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 07:18 PM

Were you only supporting Yang due to his previously listed stance on circumcision?
/r/MensRights26/11/19 07:17 PM

What? Yang and Trump are so different. How could they be your #1 and #2?
/r/MensRights26/11/19 07:12 PM
2

All democratic politicians say that shit? Why are you zeroing in on Yang who has been the only candidate to advocate for men, specifically?
/r/MensRights26/11/19 07:11 PM
3

What really makes me mad is how you people are in r/MensRights but toss men out like yesterdays garbage the moment your cult leader is mentioned. lol wut? It's really hard to have a discussion with you when you talk like this. Just out of curiosity, which candidate do you support? I feel 99% safe in assuming you do not support the democratic party. But if you had to choose a candidate?
/r/MensRights26/11/19 07:10 PM

Right. Yangs campaign pitch is centered around helping displaced truck drivers lol
/r/MensRights26/11/19 07:01 PM

ITT: Tons of people who haven't done their homework on Yang's campaign and one angry OP, who uses every logical fallacy in the book.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 06:46 PM

The case for Yang's UBI is that Women deserve money from men. No it absolutely is not.

Just because you disagree with me, doesn’t mean I’m under an illusion lmao. I haven’t been hypnotized. The “only” drawback being less working life? That means salary and benefits. That’s huge. Don’t minimize that. There’s a lot of families that have a really hard time surviving on a single income.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 04:15 PM

I don’t think you’re rational enough to have this conversation. Your bias is clear and I’m bummed this sub has turned into this.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 03:47 PM

This is a really naive and and incomplete take. With huge childcare costs, sometimes it’s not a choice. There shouldn’t be consequences for raising kids, especially considering the well documented benefits kids recieve from having a stay at home parent. It’s better for society to incentivize having a stay at home parent.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 03:46 PM
5

Yes. I agree. Nothing wrong with being a stay at home parent whether your a father or a mother. It’s a family decision.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 03:43 PM

I agree. Shit is whack
/r/MensRights26/11/19 02:40 PM

Andrew Yang has been the only politician to point out, on a national stage how automation will disproportionately effect men more than women. Calling him anti-male is completely disingenuous. His whole platform is based around helping men transition into the new job market.
/r/MensRights26/11/19 02:37 PM

You're generalizing all women which is just as bad as when people generalize all men.
/r/MensRights28/10/19 05:13 PM

I loved the movie but there’s no questioning that the women in it were immoral. The movie portrays them as criminals.

/r/MensRights28/08/19 06:28 PM

So we’re just projecting now? Is that what we’re doing. I’m quite sure the rules would apply both ways and these dumb rules are pretty standard for a commercial gym.
/r/MensRights26/08/19 11:26 PM

wtf does this have to do with men? Looks like the generic list of (gender-neutral) rules you would expect to find at any commercial gym.

Men have equal acess to therapy and other “emotional health” issues. Getting upvotes on a reddit post is not a real problem.
/r/MensRights17/08/19 09:21 PM
-16

If that’s a discussion you want to bring up, you used a really dumb example. Can you think of an actually problematic situation in which men are disproportionately denied support or services? Homelessness and victims of domestic violence or sexual assault come to mind for me.
/r/MensRights17/08/19 09:17 PM
-21

Men are oppressed because they don’t get as many upvotes on dumbass reddit posts? Let’s focus on something else, please.
/r/MensRights17/08/19 09:10 PM

Not paying child support would reduce poverty? Is that what you’re saying?
/r/MensRights26/07/19 02:46 PM

It’s hard to come up with a an alternative term for a made-up construct. But in terms of the original quote that I responded to: “Men are less likely to report their assault then females. This is due to toxic masculinity and the stigma surrounding sexual violence against men”, using “toxic masculinity” is unnecessary. They could have just said “This is due to the stigma surrounding sexual violence against men” and the quote would have the same meaning. The term “toxic masculinity” was superfluou…
/r/MensRights19/06/19 05:16 AM

You can convey the same message using terminology that is more clearly defined and less controversial.
/r/MensRights19/06/19 04:03 AM

They’re correct. The term “Toxic Masculinity” is terrible but men are less likely to report sexual assault due to fear of public ridicule or other social pressures.

Too many people on this sub mistake criticizing women for advocating for men.

What Bri said is very easy to interpret as racist or sexist. But it didn't stop me, personally, from enjoying the film. Didn't even realize who I was speaking to until now.
/r/MensRights11/03/19 04:20 PM

There’s quite a few actors and musicians who have done stuff shitter than Bri. I’ll still watch and listen.

Why are you even in this sub?
/r/MensRights11/03/19 02:44 PM

Call me a sell-out but I'm seeing it opening night. Marvel movies are almost always entertaining to me and I can enjoy a film while disagreeing with the lead actors opinion. Jim Carrey is anti-vaccinations but The Truman Show is one of my favorite movies of all time. Ya know?
/r/MensRights26/02/19 01:43 AM

This movie is gonna make a fuck ton of money, regardless. The Marvel machine isn’t going to be stopped by some stupid comments from the lead actress.

Free speech is a fickle bitch. I see no reason to take down that ignorant, sexist tweet.

/r/MensRights16/02/19 04:00 PM

Bruh! You’re acting like she turned him down for a date. She’s his girlfriend and she’s claiming she thinks less of him because he was a rape victim as a child! That’s objectively shitty.
/r/MensRights16/02/19 03:14 PM
3

So male gender roles are fine but female gender roles aren’t!?
/r/MensRights16/02/19 03:12 PM
2

Dude don’t act like this was some deep, Freudian thought. She’s perfectly aware she’s not being supportive. Also, her expectations and the “evolutionary needs” you’re talking about are a direct contradiction to all the toxic masculinity bullshit. We should be doing whatever we can to eliminate gender stereotypes, not make excuses for them.
/r/MensRights16/02/19 03:11 PM
18

She very clearly has stereotyped expectations about men and what a man should be. Her expectations are unrealistic and when enough people have expectations like hers, it reinforces those stereotypes and harms men as a whole. She’s also a really shitty girlfriend.
/r/MensRights16/02/19 01:19 PM

Yep. Caught us. We are actually a pedo-ring masquerading as a group against negative gender stereotypes. Solid detective work... Fuckin idiot.
/r/MensRights15/02/19 04:33 PM

It's clearly enforcing negative gender stereotypes.

Holy shit. I sorted the comments by controversial and oh my fucking god. Pure sexism and hate towards men. Zero compassion for the suicide victims.
/r/MensRights13/02/19 03:44 PM

Yeah. Additionally, teachers are people who we trust to keep our kids safe and help them grow. It’s extra shitty to take advantage of a student like that.

It’s pretty clear you don’t know anything about powerlifting. They do have women’s divisions and weight classes. It would be ridiculous not to.

Doesn’t mean you should exclude the other gender from the gym space (that I assume they pay for). Suck it up, the presence of another gender should not be enough to make you uncomfortable. And if it does, that’s your problem.
/r/MensRights04/02/19 04:29 PM

/r/MensRights25/01/19 07:59 PM

/r/MensRights25/01/19 06:02 PM

Sexual freedom and exploratory practices are much broader than this. CNN is talking about studies regarding specific fetish involving consenting adults. That's a lot different than legitimizing women who want to cheat. Also, this article is 10 months old.
/r/MensRights23/01/19 11:18 PM

/r/MensRights17/01/19 08:21 PM

I was referencing the obvious parallels between Trump's speech in which he called Mexican immigrants rapists and this Gillette commercial. Nothing more.
/r/MensRights17/01/19 08:20 PM

Why are you here?
/r/MensRights17/01/19 07:07 PM

It's comparing the Gillette ad to comments he made about Mexican immigrants during his campaign ("They're not sending they're best, they're sending drugs and rapists, etc...)
/r/MensRights17/01/19 06:51 PM

/r/MensRights01/01/19 07:09 AM

/r/MensRights19/12/18 04:23 AM

No it won’t. Because there are children involved who have no say in anything. I would think this sub, more than any other, would know how detrimental it is for a child to grow up without a father.
/r/MensRights17/12/18 09:11 PM

Exactly. Also, the kids and mothers would cost the government money.
/r/MensRights17/12/18 05:44 PM

It’s not about the population going down. It’ll be children growing up with out fathers and single moms on single incomes. May be better for the would-be father, but society as a whole would suffer tremendously.

On what basis? He very clearly assaulted someone.
/r/MensRights05/12/18 01:28 PM
2

Adds to my point. Firstly, it completely took away from the game. Secondly, there was no mention of the fact that the accuser has been previously charged with filing a fake police report. That shits important. Also, Witten has a lot of fucking nerve criticizing the Redskins and Foster after endorsing Greg Hardy a few years ago.
/r/MensRights05/12/18 12:59 AM

Kareem's behavior was completely out of line. No idea how anyone could defend it. But he will play again. He's too talented not too. The player we really should be talking about is Ruben Foster who was cut from the 49ers after being accused of DV for the second time this year. The first time, the accuser completely recanted in court and was charged with filing a fake police report. The same woman is accusing him again.
/r/MensRights04/12/18 08:34 PM

Yeah! Play your video game and kill all the women! That'll show them liberal pussies not to mess with us!

Men's Right's is a bi-partisan issue. Nobody was assaulted in that video, but can you explain to me why, in a men's rights sub, you commented that it would be better if it was a man being assaulted? Sounds like you're prioritizing your party over men's rights.
/r/MensRights08/11/18 06:45 PM

"So the intern tried to take the mic, Acosta hugged the mic, the only source of his power and the only reason anyone gives a shit about him" Well yeah, he's a journalist. /r/MensRights08/11/18 03:32 PM

How many acquittals have come from the accusers coming forward with the truth?
/r/MensRights19/10/18 10:32 PM
1

In an ideal world, yes. A couple problems come to mind: Wouldn’t punishing false accuser disincentivise people who make false rape claims from being truthful? Would this require it’s own separate trial? People accused of falsifying rape accusations deserve due process, too.
/r/MensRights19/10/18 08:34 PM

There are so many different certifications and trainings you can provide your staff to teach them how to transport a student safely. Gross negligence by the school system if these teachers were not trained or abuse by the teachers if they weren't trained.

I’d like to think there is a substantial difference between the shit on redpill and actual Men’s Rights Issues.
/r/MensRights28/09/18 03:32 PM

The solution is to require evidence in order to jail someone. I think we all can agree that sufficient proof needs to be a prerequisite for a conviction of any kind.
/r/MensRights22/09/18 04:07 AM

lol who tf responds to something like that? Childish. “I don’t agree with you but I’m not sure why so I’ll end this conversation like a robot”.
/r/MensRights21/09/18 01:29 PM

In an ideal world, we would absolutely prosecute people who lie about rape. Of course. But there's so much nuance that comes with that and so many factors to think about. Ignoring them is naive and near sighted.

I think the benefit of getting innocent men out of jail or cleared of charges is greater than my desire to see people who lie about rape be punished.

My concern is that people who have made false rape claims will not come forward and be truthful if it means they face criminal charges. I think the benefit of getting innocent men out of jail or cleared of charges is greater than my desire to see people who lie about rape be punished. Are you going to respond to that or continue ignoring it?

That's naive at best.

You're completely ignoring the other side of this. Edit: Exonerating the innocent is more important than punishing the guilty.

Bringing criminal charges on false rape accusers disincentives the truth getting out. It sucks, but it would probably only make the problem worse.

I get your point, but you’re exaggerating it by quite a bit. Any pro women’s team would beat a team of regular ass 15 year old boys. Come on.

This is totally ass backwards. Fathers rights means... actually helping raise your children. Dumping off unappealing jobs to the mothers will only contribute to men losing custody battles. Changing a child isn’t a woman’s job, it’s a parents job. Stop setting us back.

Recognizing differences between sexes, doesn’t qualify you as sexist. Treating someone worse or discriminating against someone because of their sex is sexist

Drunk driving is illegal because when you are drunk, your judgement is impaired. And when your judgment is impaired, you make poor decisions that you wouldn’t make if you were not drunk. When a person is so drunk that they can’t stay awake, they have zero ability to make a clear decision and it’s externally evident. Someone that has sex with a person who is so drunk that they cannot stay awake is having sex with another person that they know is unable to make decisions. If you are unable to make…

So you'd choose to oppress women if you had it your way? How is that any different from modern feminism oppressing men?

Idk... if two (or more) consenting adults agree to engage in a cuckold fetish kind of situation and all parties are happy, I don't really see the harm.

Rape is a verb. An action. Rapes go unreported all the time. That doesn't mean they didn't happen. They're also very often complex and traumatizing. Giving a rape victim only "a few days" to report a rape is pretty arbitrary and ridiculous. There are no other crimes with that short of a statue of limitations.
/r/MensRights17/04/18 06:42 PM

But the question isn't "can you press charges for rape", it's "Was it rape?" If the act meets all the criteria, how long after it was reported is irrelevant.

it has tones of sexism and re-enforces gender roles. But yeah, it's pretty harmless

Uh no, it doesn’t sound appealing. I don’t really see how that’s relevant though.

That was initial thought too. But labeling it “husband storage” is derogatory. Also, it promotes gender roles like “men hate shopping”.

Public transportation is not a “bus company”. It’s a government entity. How do you not understand the difference between racial segregation and a reduced cover charge for women at a private bar. You’re being offered the choice (NOT FORCED) to go to a bar that charges you $5 extra to be in an environment with a more even men:women ratio. That’s something a lot of men want. If you don’t, just go somewhere else. No one takes you seriously if you start whining about it.
/r/MensRights03/02/18 12:56 PM

There are real issues to discuss. Paying $5 more at bar you’re electing to go to is not one of them.

ITT: People who don't understand capitalism and want another thing to cry about. Nobody is forcing you to go to this bar.

Instead of being unsympathetic to women who have suffered trauma, we should be more sympathetic to men who have suffered trauma. Let's get better, not worse for the sake of equality.

2-3 times as many men turn to steroids for body image issues, than females with eating disorders. Be careful presenting information as fact when it's just your own personal observations. It's true that men also suffer from body image issues and that issue is largely ignored. But there are definitely not 2-3 times as many men taking steroids for body dis-morphia as there is women with eating disorders. Both issues exist independently without having to compete with each other.
