There are still aspects of my life I dont like (my living situation, the fact I cant have a dog, not having my daughter half the week), but other than those things, I'd say I feel like a better version of myself. Not being angry to or dreading going home, being more physically active, not feeling like I have to sacrifice for someone who wouldn't do the same for me, all kinds of other things that are just a huge relief. I still battle depression, but that's been my whole life. Once you get settle…

Worry about your son. That starts with calling the police and showing them the messages. She's possibly a danger to herself and possibly your son. Get her the help she needs. Then send pictures of those text to your lawyer immediately. Then ask them what to do from there

I honestly don't even think it was that. The further away we got from DDay and then 4-ish months later when I asked for the divorce, I really learned what it meant to be unable to see red flags while wearing rose colored glasses. I wouldn't call her a narcissist, but she has the tendencies. I wouldn't call her bipolar, but there are definitely much higher peaks and valleys than I'm used to with anyone else in my life (family, friends, exes, etc). Impulsive, self-centered, and dependent are the w…

Am separated but was cohabitating with ex because of our toddler. Woman I know calls me one night needs help with an electrical issue, I'm her electrician. Ex comes home, I tell her to watch baby I'm going to this woman's house whom she knows because I also bought baby stuff off her. I'm there an hour, come home make 3 of us dinner. Next day, at my other job, Ex brings baby to see me, we take some pics which I post on insta. The woman comments on the post, something innocuous (about Taylor Swift…

You need to channel your inner Rodney Dangerfield in Caddyshack. Remember the scene when he's in the pro shop and says how ugly the display hat is, the turns around to see Judge Smails wearing it and says "it looks great on you though!" then lets out that laugh that only Rodney could do? That's how you need to be. She wants to piss you off by bringing a new guy by your place? Just say to him "good luck to you two" and laugh. That will piss her off more than anything else you can do

Going through a divorce now. There's no way she's telling you the full story. Fight for your children. You will regret it every day if you do not

Going through a divorce now. She cheated with her boss. Married 6+ years with a 1 year old. I paid for everything over our relationship. Everything in my name because she had a bankruptcy. Had the audacity to ask for all the most expensive things we own, all of which I paid for, and half of our home. Not only that, when we refinanced, we used $48k to pay down her student loans on the (verbal only, I'm an idiot i know) agreement that if we split, I'd get the first $48k then equal split; but now s…
