Starting to get the feeling in here MGTOW doesn’t just refer to women but all human interaction as well. That just seemed out of place. Seemed to indicate I was abandoning human interaction because I wanted to live alone or something.

You seem to have the idea that someone must not be social if they don't want roommates? I love socializing. I have lots of friends and I see them often. But I sure as hell don't want to live with them, let alone a stranger. That's just the sort of person I am. I'm very independent and I like my privacy. I value stability and freedom most in life and living alone is most consistent with that.

You can also cut off one end after you're done and pull the cob through the husk, leaving you with corn that has no hairs from the husk on it.

Lots of dishes do require a lot of work. Cooking can be really difficult and time consuming -- the key here is that it doesn't have to be. Anyone who doesn't like cooking can choose to cook things that are less time intensive or require less skill. The issue is when people elect to cook dishes that by their nature take a long time to prepare, and then go on to complain about how hard they're working at preparing the meal.

And gambling on everything is short sighted and foolish. Obviously you have to decide whether or not the risk justifies the potential reward. For me, it doesn't in this case. The extra money I pay to live alone is worth the peace of mind to me. And frankly, I would greatly prefer living alone to living with even the best of roommates, and I have the money to spare, so why wouldn't I live alone?

The issue is that getting a new roommate is a gamble. You never know how good or bad of a roommate someone will be, even if you know the person beforehand. And if you get a bad one you're more or less stuck with them and have to then adjust to a lower quality of life. I can't imagine giving anyone else that much power over my life unless I absolutely had to.

I don't know about you but I like doing what I want when I want. I like having things my own way. If I'm tired of looking at dishes in the sink I don't want to have to wait until someone gets to it or ask someone. I want to be able to just do it. And if I feel like leaving all my dishes in the sink for a week, I want to be able to do that without any questions. Plus there are bills. If your roommate doesn't pay their share of the utilities or rent, you don't get to just pay your share and call i…

One large glass of red wine is equal to three bottles of fizzy, yellow beer. Maybe if you fill all the way to the top. 2/3 beers

If I think I was smooth, AND I get action, I don't care how fucked up or stupid I actually sounded. The ends justify the means. Somehow
