I admit to saying all of those things, I stand by the validity of what I said. The reason I'm even posting right now is to allow the inevitable downvotes that I have earned for those comments to be counted and to clarify (not justify) what I have written. It was a bad joke about something that should not be joked about. I was wrong in posting and am sorry for such.

I'm not really a part of this debate but I would like to point out from this quote: I have never seen anyone suggest a man should be able to force a woman to carry a fetus to term. This is one that I literally have never seen. Maybe as a theoretical talking point. that it actually has [unfortunately] been talked about a lot though it wasn't from an MRA perspective but from a Church perspective.

Not too bad of an article, would have been MUCH better if they either took out these two quotes: Discuss how being a feminist does not mean women hate men or that women think men are the enemy. Teach them that by taking a role in feminism they will be helping everyone, not just women. or changed it from feminism to egalitarianism

Definitely not! I do not believe any sane person is asking to be made a victim of a crime be it mugging, rape, or really anything. What's interesting about "rape culture" is that it seems to be the only named type of criminal culture. I was actually looking at this and audio recorders a few days ago. I feel that a camera would be hard to covertly use in your every day life whereas an audio recorder can be kept in a pocket (preferably shirt pocket but pants pockets work as well). The video camera key chain I would probably have installed in my car in case the police are having a bad day and feel like harassing me in which case I'll have something to defend myself against them.

I dislike the term "slut" as it is just as offensive (and frankly unnecessary seeing as how we don't live in the dark ages of sexual repression or the modern middle east (Israel excluded) as "man-whore." Also the issue of morality with respect to STDs is very easily mitigated by using CONDOMS and other such prophylactics.

If you really don't intend on making him pay child support, have him (since it's in his best interests) contact a lawyer and make a legal contract/agreement in which you state that you will never seek financial support from him, have it copied and notarized and have all parties keep a copy. A person's word, while having some meaning a century or two ago is essentially worthless now a days. EDIT: I think it is very admirable the way that you are handling this so far
