Sure it does. It's whatever people in their late 20s do to socialize. It's absolutely different from socializing in college, yes, but people's lives don't end in college. There's probably a decent bit of overlap in activities, too. Like, you can be the old guy in the club just vibing out, it's only a little weird when you're the old guy in the club pretending you're still in college. At least, I always thought that was a bit weird, especially for those PUAs that are like, 35-40, dressed like the…

I don't approach on a consistent basis. But I don't remember the last time I didn't get a number. I think that's part of my problem with not actually getting laid, I end up trying to salvage a losing set for at least a number subconsciously, to the point where I probably give off friendly vibes.

Literally my last approach was a girl that said "I have a sorta boyfriend, here's my number, ask in two weeks". That happened last week. I sent her my name, but she didn't respond, and I don't think she will. I'm not gonna ask here again in two weeks.

An extended series of fuckups and bad decisions that got me legal, academic, and social problems. And not laid. I lived the entire bad side of the party lifestyle with none of the benefits. But nah, I get what you feel. You'll never have that dumbass 19-20 year old love of sleeping in cars and tents and festivals and surviving on ramen and mountain dew for weeks at a time. I mean, you could chase it, find yourself some 19 year old. Or you can do the late 20s equivalent. Theoretically, you got so…

Yeah, the way that goes is you get dinner, not a number. Don't get me wrong, sometimes a number is all you're gonna get, and the date comes later. I've handed my number to plenty of cashiers and had some of them hit me up when they got off work. I've had girls that I got numbers from respond. Tinder generates 1-2 numbers per month for me, now that I can somewhat reliably get a match every week, and sometimes those go somewhere. When I get a number, I'll usually text out a "hey, it's that hot guy…

I have hundreds of numbers after a bit over a year of approaching, and I got out maybe 2-3 times per month. Go up to literally any girl, say "hey, you're cute, let's get dinner", and if she says yes, ask for her number after, and if she says no, say "oh, well lemme grab your number" and she will give it to you to make you go away.

I feel like I'm missing something, because I read books, and I try to implement the techniques, but it's like something doesn't click. A few years back, I managed to fumble my way into a girlfriend, and she always got insecure because (according to her) girls would straight up stare when we walked by. Obviously I never picked up on that. I think I might be on the APD spectrum or something, because I just don't get it. I'm pretty sure I talk my way out of women's pants every single time I go out.…

I don't think you quite realize how easy it is to get a number. If you put a gun to my head and told me to get laid in the next month or I die, I would be dead. If you told me to get ten numbers in the next hour, I'd have ten numbers in the next 20 minutes. As long as you're not actively creeping people out, they'll give you their number. Doesn't mean you'll get any use out of that number.

I can't seem to figure out how to develop attraction, got any tips? I can approach no problem, I can get numbers no problem, but I always end up painfully platonic.

Getting numbers is easy, 9/10, maybe even 99/100 approaches I can get a number. But a number ain't worth shit.

I find that getting a number usually isn't worth shit either, I can go out and get numbers all night, but then they flake or ignore me or just have the dryest conversation followed by either a rejection or a no show for another meetup. Kinda demoralizing, TBH. I haven't really even bothered going out lately because it feels like anything other than fucking that night is an L and I don't know how to bring a girl home.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
