This strategy says you should lie when that "us" talk comes, at least until you're ready to make a choice. I'm sure that's common but what's less common (at least to me) is the psychological manipulation component. According to this strategy, the women will intuitively sense that you're not exclusive, and this will make them try to please you for fear of losing you to the other women. This is more than just dating around.

Thanks for your reply. This is different from the one I heard but maybe my friend mixed up different strategies. And yeah, any strategy based on inducing fear and anxiety is a bad one in the long run.

Yeah I think it comes from a mindset of wanting to control your partner rather than accepting who she is, it denies women's agency. And it's combined with anxiety about being alone.

You clearly don't understand who you're interacting with then, I'm a grown man who finds that whole subculture ridiculous, I'm curious about this particular thing because my friend talked about it. It's like if your friend told you about a crazy flat earth theory and you wanted to know where he got it from, would that make you a future flat-earther? And what I meant in the last part is, "find one woman to commit to" is better than "keep f*cking b*tches until your d*ck falls off". Which makes thi…

Thank you for you comment, seems like you were deep into this stuff. Yeah I searched around a bit and what I found said you're supposed to be open about it, so I'm curious where he got his version from.

It doesn't appeal to me at all, I find it laughable, I'm just curious about the source. I do think the last phase of choosing just one is a redeeming aspect, but maybe I'm being too charitable.

He wrote a classification system of women based on cheating (which he admitted to doing 'on the road') as a grown 30 year old man. He didn't write someone else's system as impressionable people do, he came up with his own based on his experiences. That means there's a strong chance he still holds these beliefs and has cheated/is cheating on you. The thing is, there's no way for you to know for sure unless you catch him. No one should tell you what to do or how to feel, but I can tell you how I w…

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
