Short hair is easier to care for. My (M62) partner (F64) just got her hair cut short for this reason. It’s an advantage, we should enjoy it. Casting every difference in a negative light may feel edgy and clever but Hanlon’s razor holds more often. My ex got her hair cut short when we were in our late 20s. She hated it because she said it made her look like a boy. I thought she looked great but it’s up to her. Image and self-image are important and looks are a big part of that, especially for wom…

I take exception to the odd premise. Who says (besides OP) that those two choices always end in weakness? Having the drive die makes life simpler and more satisfying. The drive for sex and company is ingrained in how most humans are wired so better to understand and make it productive rather than denying it. It's a variation on the theme of 'wanting what you have, not pursuing what you want'. Both pursuits can be healthy or unhealthy depending on how they manifest and the behaviors they entail.

Take some glycinate and L-Theanine to help reduce your anxiety. Keep working out. Ignore the BS as best you can. Maybe the ladies were just being polite because they thought you were in a hurry. Stop seeing the world through poop-colored glasses. Read The Four Agreements.

It was/s a thing in primitive societies. Bungee jumping was invented by Papua New Guinea tribes as a rite of passage into manhood. Boys would tie vines to their ankles then jump off towers set up so that the length of the vines gave them a few inches to spare before their head hit the ground. The vines weren’t particularly bouncy so the towers weren’t super tall but it was still daunting nonetheless.

After getting cut twice, seeing the blood and realizing I had been cut, I wrestled the box cutter away from my attacker, went to the bathroom to tend my wounds, called the cops, and walked out of the house.

Men were designed for short violent lives, women were designed for long miserable ones. No surprise.

In the long run, definitely. My life has been so full of wonderful people and amazing adventures since the divorce.

TL:DR. I don’t know about anyone’s divorce but my own. Basically she suggested a divorce when I asked that she stop treating me like an employee. She laid off advancing her career while we had kids. She still worked but took supporting roles with fewer hours. After the kids got into middle school, her career rapidly advanced. At that point, we were both working in senior positions in our respective organizations. She began to expect us to treat her like a boss. Defer to her opinions, have her al…

And I got busted by some d-bag for chastising suggestions that the woman weaponize sex to get him to get the vasectomy. Idiocy

That’s good advice for almost any human situation. . . . “just because you agree with him in few things that doesn't mean you have to idolize him” . . .

All In The Family was kinda along the lines of a strong father and ditzy mother. I was never a fan but my parents liked it.
