What about senior citizen discounts, or discounts with AARP memberships? I see this all the time, yet I’ve never heard anyone say it is illegal.

Yeah, I was misunderstanding the terminology and hadn’t gotten to the point of the thing yet. Thanks.

Damn, this article really hit home for me. My ex used to assault me, escalate arguments, then put herself in the doorway to prevent me from leaving. If I tried to move her from the doorway she’d threaten to call the cops on me. It was horrific, and I didn’t have anyone I could really talk to about it.

Best part of the article is the Roseanne quote at the end: Roseanne Arnold, in a secret divorce settlement, agreed to support former husband William Pentland for 10 years, according to sources familiar with the deal. He should be paying me half of the money he makes, she said, except what am I going to do with an extra 40 bucks a week? Classic Roseanne. God I miss the 90’s

It can be a mitigating factor in sentencing, but does not absolve all responsibility.

Mental illness does not absolve all criminal liability. Did she understand her actions? Did she know the difference between right and wrong? Then she can face consequences.

I'm a solid high school wrestler (now in my 30s), and I have no doubt that I would destroy Roussey in a fight. It literally wouldn't be fair for her. (Mostly because of a 60 lb weight advantage)

Yes. I believe in equality rights, shared responsibility, mutual respect, and an appreciation for our differences.

Wow. You know, often I don't find it's socially rewarding to point out bad feminist ideas, but this is what happens when people keep quiet.

Agreed. I don't want to advocate for violence, but some people are so comfortable in the idea of " you can't touch me" that they do all sorts of deplorable shit. A few assholes need to get slapped so that the rest will remember how to behave.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
