Thankyou. I've given this some thought. I'm already receiving help from professionals. I think that my journey is quite different to others posting in here and I have a few things to sort out. I'll make my own path from here, which will have MRP elements but some adaptations as well. I may return back to posting at some point, when the time is right.

Thankyou, and I agree with you. I'm already receiving professional help for a few things. I have been considering pausing posting or not posting at all, because of how different my journey is, but that is being defeatist. I think I am working within a niche that doesn't exist in the self improvement world, a space for neurodiversity. Out of everything I've looked at in the self improvement space, MRP appears to be the most balanced. Journalling has been incredibly helpful for me and the feedback…

Thanks for your reply. Very direct, but true. It goes even deeper than what you have mentioned. I'll be elaborating a bit more in my next OYS, but I'm going to reply to some of your points here. You have posted here 22 times and presumably read everything in the sidebar, right? Wrong. That, or you didn't even internalize anything I was posting in here for a while, then got hit by several traumatic events in a short period of time that caused PTSD. I have basically forgotten almost everything bec…

Just started: Mystery Method- I know nothing about and have never used game so need to start somewhere. It is a good starting point but find what works for you. When I started out and was heavily involved in the scene 15 years ago, I found TMM didn't resonate too well with me as I got self conscious about "am I in attraction or comfort stage" whereas my experience is that it could be any of the stages at any time. I personally preferred RSD's material (Foundations / Blueprint) and found it a bit…

So many questions. For you to answer yourself, I don't want the answers. Replace OYS below with whatever is relevant to start building a better life. Why do you feel the need to make an OYS considering how many excuses you've made for why you havent done it. Why are you seeking the approval of random internet people for a journal that is just for your own purposes. Why did you spend so long making this post, when the same amount of time could have been spent in a OYS. Why do you spend time in an…

You quit your current job without having a new one lined up, and your plan is to get a job in a field you're not trained in.You're not even looking for another job for 8 weeks? Are you wealthy or dumb? I have funds to last me a fairly significant amount of time, and I've set money aside to give myself time off to start healing and recovering from what's been called "autistic burnout". The plan is to get a very basic entry level job in the field, something with admin duties like a receptionist. I…

Thankyou for the feedback. The therapist is a prostitute but has training in therapy, so it's things like breathing techniques as well. In past OYS I mentioned I have anxiety about sex resulting in performance problems, so that is where the therapist came in. There's trauma associated with many negative bad experiences with sex that have hit my confidence, and the consistent feedback from the sex therapist and my mental health therapist is I need to replace these bad experiences with good ones. …

Thankyou. I've given this and other feedback some serious thought. Didn't want to turn my OYS into a "Dear Diary". I do want more sex. It's mostly a question of time and energy investment for me. If I try to achieve this through the dating route. It's a lot of time and energy to swipe on the apps, to set up a date, to then make it go well and hopefully it leads to sex (none of the 15 did). This time could be spent on other things, like my purpose, rehab, hobbies or mental health. I'm not entirel…

I'm the guy that despite working hard, pickup wasn't a success for me. Maybe 12 years ago, I did over 1000 cold approaches, boot camp, internship for one of the big companies. Yet my results were amongst the poorest around. I'm slowly unravelling why. Been one hell of a journey.

I originally started on MRP with exactly that goal, how to improve a dead bedroom with a now ex-LTR. I haven't stopped my progress just because I'm no longer in that relationship. I thought I wanted more sex, until I realised that even if I did get laid like a rockstar, that I wouldn't be happy. After I had great dates and sex, I didn't feel any different. I was still anxious and empty. I could easily pay for hookers for the rest of my life, or keep going on dates and maybe 1 will convert into s…

I went through the exact same thing myself. Was with a girl for 8 years, and in the last 2 years she started showing almost the same symptoms you have described. Abusive, depressive, and not willing to get help. The relationship suffered. I suffered trying to help her. I had to lay an ultimatum to her, that she either starts getting help and doing the work required to be better or the relationship is over. She put in a pretty weak attempt at getting help. I ended the relationship. Don't repeat m…

Actively working out what am I scared or what gives me massive anxiety, and desensitising myself to it. There are 2 main themes I'm working through currently. I have significant fear of health issues and getting hurt. So I'm doing BJJ as a way to expose myself to situations and show that I'll come out ok. The thought of going on dates and having sex was giving me significant anxiety as well. So that's why I'm exposing myself to situations where either of these may be possible outcomes. It'll be …

Very true. I don't think I've actually lost 450 calories each time, but my rationale is it should have the same inaccuracy every time, so it's something for me to aim for. If I only burnt 300 calories I was likely lazy at the gym that day for example. I've had significant struggles losing any weight for the past year. I've been putting that down to massive stress and anxiety levels post separation that have continued until now. Car crash meant I was sedentary. The medication I'm on to subdue my …

Thankyou. You are right. "Scared to approach" aptly sums it up. I don't approach enough because I haven't put myself into situations where an approach is possible. Was doing a lot of WFH but that's changing as I'm not going to get any approaches whilst sitting at home. When there is an opportunity for approaching, I'm either hesitating, or I open but don't follow through.

Around March, when I run out. So another 2 months of destroying your own health, just to tick a box to say you've finished your own supply? Let's use an an analogy. You're addicted to porn. There's 2 months of porn you haven't watched yet. You're going to stop watching porn, when you finish watching it all? 2 months more until you let your body heal, and maybe 2 months additional damage to undo. Have fun

I'm only 10% of the way through the book at the moment. But the biggest thing I'm picking up on is procrastination. That I'll think of doing a chore, then forget about it until hours later as something more tempting to do came up. Tempting such as meaningless Reddit browsing. So I plan to be more disciplined and not waste time on these things. I'm already started a morning routine including skincare. That's great feedback. Really hit a truth there, thankyou. You are right. It isn't a mission or purpose. I don't know what my mission or purpose is. I might need to look deeper to figure this out. Mastering myself and my emotions may be a better line of thought. At best what I've listed as a purpose, should be branded instead as "trying to find more shit that I enjoy". Which is great, but it's finite, so yes it's a goal by that definition.
