But I think putting much weight on all of this is a bit silly. Humans kind of break the evolutionary game. If we were to truly weigh our evolutionary value on the most accurate basis, then we would have to say that humans are essentially evolutionarily valueless, since 99.99999999999% of our cells never reproduce past our deaths, and are merely slaves of our germ cell, the egg and sperm. One hundred men could easily stand in for the billions we have today when it comes to reproducing.
