1	Men that were financially ruined, what did you lose and how did you recover? My ex filed for divorce due to she realized she was bisexual and wanted to open things up which I didn’t. I was able to gain primary custody and we split time 60/40 pretty well. Here is what I lost financially so far: $3,500 on a divorce attorney $15,000 of savings of which was mostly propped up by me and my earnings. $45-50k in house equity when we sold since I had to split with her. 1	What ruined your marriage? I think one thing people get wrong every day about love and marriage is people think love is a feeling and marriage is an experience when in reality love is a choice day in and day out. Sure you have feelings that play a part, but choosing love is what makes marriages successful.
