Look around at gyms, some are great but some are just places we're people hit each other in the head. Go watch a class and see if they are Teaching or people are just hitting the bags till the end of time. Go watch them spar and see if the are training and working on skills or just having gym wars for their egos. People shouldnt be going 100% in sparring unless they have a fight coming up. Shop around, don't just go to the first place and be consistent, no one minds helping a beginner especially…
