| 1 | How in the world do I get over being angryThe alternative is to stay... I just made my last direct child support payment yesterday to the mother. I have another son who lives with me, I saw one payment my way and nothing in a year. Frustrating, expensive.... But I'm not with her. Like any other terrible financial decision, but it could be worse. | /r/Divorce_Men | 02/06/26 11:49 PM |
| 1 | Marriage questionNope. Never again. Depending on where you live though you may not need to get married to have the same legal responsibilities after living common law. | /r/Divorce_Men | 28/07/22 07:58 PM |
| 3 | Finding out about infidelity after the divorceYou deserve better... Now I look back and wonder how I spent nearly 10 years with her. Don't let her take space in your head. She doesn't deserve you and you deserve someone better. Be happy it is over and you can now seek happiness with someone who shares it with you. | /r/Divorce_Men | 14/04/21 11:41 PM |
| 3 | I am a 30 year older man Recently separated and trying to understand my chances at finding loveI am now 34 been separated 1.5 years and living separately for 0.5 year. You will be fine! I live in rural Canada where the pond isn't well stocked but it has gone pretty well. Put yourself out there, have some confidence and it will come together. | 5 | Just got the I want a divorce talkI'm a few months into something similar. Take some time, but if can live together keep doing so. Figure things out, it may be easier to do some conversations in writing, we found it help us deal with assets/debts without too much issue so far. Educate yourself on both of your rights and obligations and see take a business like approach to the situation. It's an emotional rollercoaster but it will work out in the end. | /r/Divorce_Men | 19/10/19 02:35 AM |
