Yeah, these are tired, old lines. I guess you were expecting outrage or something from us?

Because using the word “science” or “scientific” makes it appear more credible. Hence the reason why feminists push for women to enter into STEM fields. STEM = science = sound credible = makes feminism sound credible

I just don't seem to buy the red pill, and I am wondering why so many seem to gravitate towards it when it really is just a collection of self-improvement techniques and circlejerk over biased anecdotes and heuristics that aren't scientific or logical in anyway. Because its a better message than the message disseminated by feminism. The TRP view point better than the alternatives.

Do you think I was straight up jerky and disrespectful towards the community or do you think I just needed to educate myself a little bit more about who I was engaging with? Also, do you think all the criticisms laid against me were 100% justified or do you some people went a little bit too far? No. Your writing skills, well, just fucking suck.

An interesting article for sure, it's nice to see som dissenting opinions on the feminist side. No, its a boiler plate article.

I think the only universal thing with women is that they do expect something in return for sex from a man. Hey, wanna dress up in leather and be my sex slave? I will call you "Mandy."

Do you agree that women receive a message of inferiority? Are women then made inferior by internalizing societal narratives in a self-fulfilling prophecy? Yes, feminism harms women.

I want a blow job every time someone says "unironically." I am an English graduate, and I expect some kind of pay back for every fuck up I see on this subreddit concerning style, grammar and word choice.

Women care about men. Women are far more involved in social services which help people. They are educators, healthcare professionals, and counselors more often then men are. As for men wanting to help women, how much of that is because men care about the woman, and how much of it is because he simply wants to have sex with her. Cause it's a big difference. Summary: assume the best of women; assume the worst of men.
/r/PurplePillDebate22/10/18 11:09 PM

that men hold a lot of power in society What men? What strata of society? Are we talking about all men here, or just white men? Is it just men with money, or against all men?

I realize the experience of women outside of a western society is terrible but in a western society they are first class Put it another way: you realize what you have been told to say, but you do not actually know it yourself. I do not blame you. You have to say this stuff in order to keep your job and so on.

I'm arguing that we should recognize the truth more than anything else. I want a blow job for every instance someone has made a similar statement about how people should "recognize the truth" or "deal with reality."

Looks like I got this OP pegged correctly from the start. Next step: the OP down votes me and says something snarky like, "I tried to educate you, but you don't want to be educated. Good day, sir."

I am of the school that if a woman or a man talks just to talk, it could possibly be creepy or weird, at least socially awkward, and that should be avoided. So you're of the school that if a man doesn't talk to a woman, he considers her chopped liver. But if he does talk to her, then he's interested? Yeah, I have literally no idea why you want to objectify people here, because I thought in your OP you were talking about forms of communication. Now, you seem to want to be a shit instigator by obj…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/18 06:42 PM

Well, let's put it this way: talking just to talk = reddit "discussion" = creepy and weird, regardless of the gender of the person in question.
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/18 06:31 PM
1

Well, perhaps, but we want to get away from using pejorative terms, and help that person who has some awkward behaviors reason for themselves so they become more independent, and also less insecure about themselves. Calling some creepy, weird, or strange doesn't communicate the kernel notion of treating someone as we would wish to be treated ourselves. See, calling everyone "creepy" and "weird" all the time is the beginning of a habit-forming behavior, and eventually people may begin to associat…
/r/PurplePillDebate21/10/18 06:26 PM
1

Don't you think describing the behavior as creepy might finally get through to them, though No, calling someone creepy is insulting and off-putting. The best way to change someone's behavior is through indirect means where the person in question reasons for themselves their behavior is tarnishing their image with others. In fact, calling someone creepy or some other pejorative term may have the opposite effect of what was originally intended, in that the person in question may become even more r…

Hookup culture is driven by women. Most young guys are pretty much always up for a hookup. Whether or not hookups are common depends almost entirely on female decisions. The MeToo movement is unlikely to change female behavior so I doubt it will have much effect. A few guys may take steps to protect themselves but that's not going to result in any meaningful change. Oh GOODIE!! Look, everyone, another garden variety post about the sexual market place and how women control sex. I love with this s…

/r/PurplePillDebate20/10/18 12:52 AM

Yeah, no, women are trying to push into spaces where men could be with each other, and take over of male spaces has left most men with no place to hang in order to be away from women.

So is it any surprise that there is a community / movement of men that is almost a backlash and response to this growing trend? It comes as no surprise to me that there is a backlash against feminist by some men who have been told they threats to anyone and everyone around them, and they are inferior to women. Being told you are a piece of shit is likely to make anyone angry enough, regardless of whether they are "incel" or not.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/18 06:57 PM
15

I just think it’s a curious social phenomenon. I mean, why didn’t incels become a thing 5 or 10 years ago? Yep. Feminism does not give a shit about men. That has been told to you several times during the course of your discussion here on reddit, and I am trying to get that across to you now. There has always been incels, but they didn't matter before because they were not useful as symbolic threat against women. Being a victim is very profitable, and that means feminism is also very profitable s…
/r/PurplePillDebate19/10/18 06:24 PM

See, this is a common misperception I see time and time again about incel ideology. but there is the thing: nobody gives a shit, and nobody really should give a shit, either.

And stewing in this stupid toxicity literally kills brain cells. But then, where would PPD with out a steady stream of 30 year old autistics asking questions about sexual encounters that most everyone else learned at the age of 17?

yeah, it really degrades the male because he has to step in and do what his wife's father couldn't do: be her father.
/r/PurplePillDebate18/10/18 01:39 AM

Its not desperation. Seriously, women misunderstand just how little men value either themselves or each other, and this is not toxic masculinity. We know from a very early age that nobody values us, and there is an implicit rule that if a man ever asks for help, he forgoes any help that he might have received. Devaluing you is really a projection of how devalued men feel about themselves and each other.

You sound like you're ready for a heart to heart confession, like one of these young dudes who tries to fight people he thinks who can beat him as a test of his manhood. But inside, he's ready for a homoerotic experience where he confesses his inner desire to give over his body and his mind to a larger, more powerful man. If that's what you're here for, okay, but I am not into that sort of thing. But, what I can do for you, /u/lemonfloss is listen to your confession. See, you keep returning to P…

Sometimes it was a really tough decision to make but I always chose to keep being open to new opportunities even at the risk of being hurt and in the end it was absolutely worth it. These blurb reads like the closing lines of a book entitled: "How to cope with being a lonely cat lady. Chapter 4. Vanilla pudding is A-Ok (if even a little bland)."

/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/18 11:16 PM

To me, men's love feels inherently dehumanizing. They love you like an object, to be prized, shown off, and protected while new and shiny, then forgotten about, resented, or replaced when it gets old and loses its veneer. Seek therapy.
/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/18 11:15 PM

Of course I'm likely to die alone. I'm a woman. No, you are likely to die alone because you blame your problems on your gender, rather that blaming your problems on your personal choices and decisions that you have made in life.

/r/PurplePillDebate14/10/18 12:32 AM

if you find a person you have it with, best to be honest and state your intentions up front so they know what to expect. yeah, but you really do not want to hit them with a brick wall of exposition.
/r/PurplePillDebate13/10/18 01:36 AM
3

Yeah, but the thing you are not grasping here is social graces. As /u/spacewhiskey said, It’s not about being honest or not being honest, it’s about social grace. It might be true that someone wants to get married and have a family, but bringing that up on the first date is waaayy too soon and yes, it can freak the other person out.

You know, you're not as smart as you come across. The basic principle of feminism is a gender dichotomy of women being victims and men being victimizers, and NOW is a very very large portion of feminism. Speak with out equivocation, or I will clip your wings.

You're not a mgtow. You're using parlance and jargon which has gradually over a period of time become associated with the world view people associate with mgtow, but you're really here to just churn people up. I'll betcha think this is going to end up my being banned, don't you? I'll betcha think you can maneuver me into making personal insults against you.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 04:59 AM

There is a step beyond that. Honestly. Just saying "the best yoiu can do is.." seems like a cop-out to deter any further investigation into newer and better social alignments.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 04:57 AM

You will see men vehemently defend hypergamy and at the same time find women who will deny it with just as much vigor. Both the men and women are wrong, and have yet to come to realize the splendor that is supplication to and eventual rise as one of my acolytes. You think I am kidding. heh.
/r/PurplePillDebate09/10/18 04:55 AM

Yes, but its also symbolism for posts which are repetitive and carry the mark of unoriginal, unimaginative thinking. Look at the redpills, bluepills and the feminists. You get used to their "lines" and "talk."

Women are a protected class because we foolishly follow our hardwiring that compels us to see women as rather cute and harmless beings. Then you need to get red pilled, and do it quickly. That or survive a false rape accusation.

Minimum orbit intersection distance Minimum orbit intersection distance (MOID) is a measure used in astronomy to assess potential close approaches and collision risks between astronomical objects.[1][2] It is defined as the distance between the closest points of the osculating orbits of two bodies. Of greatest interest is the risk of a collision with Earth. Earth MOID is often listed on comet and asteroid databases such as the JPL Small-Body Database. MOID values are also defined with respect to…

Humans are most closely related to two Great Ape species: Chimps and Bonobos. Chimps have a classic alpha-male harem arrangement. So patriarchal and heteronormative, amiright? But Bonobos have a female-dominated social structure and are famous for being promiscuous sexually, with sex being used for barter, reducing tension, and just for fun. Both male and females engage in homosexual behavior. Groovy … I'll bet you stay up late every night thinking about this stuff.

Here's Women are wonderful effect in action guys. We all know that if a man killed his babies, no body would try to find him excuses of why he done that. That woman is a monster and the ones who are defending her are disgusting yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah, we all get that part, but after the rage and anger has subsided, what then? I mean, you got yourself upset, you're angry. What next?

I think you mean guys that don't even understand that it doesn't mean that masculinity is toxic nor that all men are toxic. You're trying to impose gender roles.

Yes it's my favorite saying, because unlike TRP I require proof and not just my hurt feelings as a basis for theories. yeah, its your favorite saying because its a tactical decision that you hope allows you to escape questions and discussion may reveal your anti-male bigotry. Namely, your oft repeatedly idea that masculinity is a social construct is simply a way for your to impose gender roles on men. You are creating protocol and alibis which you hope will swerve you away from the actual point,…

To say that competitiveness is purely a social construct is incorrect, no? its incorrect because humans are inherently predatory and competitive. Humans have their eyes located at the front of their heads so thy can judge the distances to the prey. Thank you, evolution. Edit. Yeah, but no, there is a thing called testosterone, and man have a wide range of emotions and feelings. The question you should be ask is this: How do you feed, clothe, and educate those children after they are born? Where is the food going to come from? There is a world wide foot and water short right now. Who is going to hire and train new teachers? There is a teacher shortage right now.

/r/PurplePillDebate05/08/18 02:10 AM

Are you implying that normal (non-pedophile) men are secretly pining for the opportunity to spend more time with small children? No. Because I'm not buying it, sorry. Good. I wouldn't buy into it, either. In any case, there is a social taboo with leaving men alone with children.

Women are also more likely to be child caretakers and probably spend a lot more time with kids than men do on average. So it stands to reason that they would 'snap' more frequently than do men. There is a social taboo with placing men as caregivers of small children.

What a sad dismissive attitude you have.

/r/PurplePillDebate03/08/18 12:53 PM

/r/PurplePillDebate02/08/18 10:53 PM

Women are confined by their physical inferiority. If they were to act like an aggressive and physically strong man would stereo-typically, they would quickly find out (in a free, unrestricted environment) and be forced to put in their place. yeah, okay, I was not going to step in, but this comment of yours is borderline stupid. I cant understand why anyone thinks otherwise. Yes, we all understand feminism here. Because you are an adherent to feminism, you must see men as your enemy or otherwise you're not feminist. I know all there is to know and understand about the movement. I know all about "feminism is for everybody" by bell hooks. I know all about the patriarchy. That seems like backwards thinking for a group that is normally very pro-free speech. Criminal accusations are not the same as free speech, and I think you are aware of that, aren't you? For example, if someone posted on Twitter an accusations about their local Catholic priest is fondling kids, that is a criminal allegation, not free speech. On the other hand, through the comments you have made, I sense you have double-standards in regards to free speech.

So please explain why you guys defend these abusers and are so against the metoo movement. Nobody is defending these assholes, and that is an incredibly loaded and disingenuous way to frame the discussion you are hoping to have here. There is a difference between being holding an adversarial stance on an issue, and then there is just being an out right liar accusing men of protecting other men who rape and or sexually abuse women -- and its disingenuous to portray women as weak and helpless.

Women aren't grateful for what they have. I don't think that's how they work. No, no, that's not quite it: women literally do not have any concept of accountability or responsibility.

If you think women are democratically equal to men and should have the same opportunities as men, sure. Sure, but that's also ironically anti-feminist because to be feminist in the first place is to adhere to the idea that women are lacking rights that men have. If you think women are the same as men and should have the same outcomes as men Equal outcomes also means forced outcomes, because all human beings are inherently unequal (body shape, cultural heritage, parentage, you name it). Enforcing…

The more I read MRP/RP wives, the more I feel my marriage would benefit from a more RP stance. But politically I'm left wing, support LGBT rights, and feel that we generally have a problem in western societies with rape culture. Feminism is not monolith. Feminism is a monolith because: When feminism does something good, every feminist takes credit When feminism does something negative, people claim its "the radicals" who have taken over the movement Feminism has a holistic view of men as the enemy, the oppressor, the enslaver, as the victimizer, as the lesser-gender, as toxic.... because if women are not oppressed, then women have no enemy, and if women have no enemy, then men can't be blamed.
/r/PurplePillDebate19/07/18 04:50 PM

Our severe staff shortage at the daily newspaper I work for. We're a daily newspaper, and our staff consists of the following: one interim news editor, three correspondents (including me) and a sports editor. That's it. However, as I said in another comment above, 6/10 working class girls tend to marry in their 20s, not expecting anything more from their life (unlike career-oriented white collar girls), so they have no reason to go after a fellow working class guy in his 30s who has hit his own wall. and that has been proven false because there are too many variables for there to be a trend.

Keep in mind the man isn't paying for the autonomy, the man is paying for a child that is born and alive therefore requiring resources (which the mother is also paying for). The mother pays, if she pays, through government programs for the child she has custody over, and the programs which subsidize her autonomy are culled from taxes and government garnishes wages from a man's pay check. her autonomy is paid for with his paycheck. An abortion is about bodily autonomy. If its her body, her choice, and she gets to make all of the decisions concerning the child, why, then, should a man (or any man) be forced to open his wallet to pay for her autonomy? Blaming men only goes so far these days.

It would be so convenient if men could be categorized into two either beta/alpha, nice/mean. You're just challenging the veracity of established fact that you are ignorant to. lol not when the proof is commonly available information you should be educated in before you step into the discussion. You don't get to walk in as a layman and demand sources, sorry. From a clinical perspective every single one of you is the stunted growth that is caused by growing up in male privilege and being conditioned to believe it's a right. Privilege makes you weak. So, your argument is making an appeal to authority. No self-fulfilling prophecy here, am I right?

This is actually a fairly small subset of feminists, a "vocal minority" if you will. Most people understand this because they've met and talked to, or seen on TV, reasonable friendly feminists who don't say things like this and even speak out against it. This is a repetition of scapegoating all of the perceived negative characteristics of feminism onto so-called radicals. All forms of feminism are united by a single common view: women are oppressed and men are the enemy of women.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/07/18 01:23 AM

Is that the fault of feminist bias, or is it the fault of patriarchy? You, like everyone else in this thread, are asking the wrong questions. One thing a lot of guys I talk to about this don’t really seem to think about is the fact that parental obligations come with rights as well. One thing a lot of lawyers I talk to about this really don't seem to think about the fact that men do not have rights in parental custody. The feminine cares for OTHERS. The feminine is nurturing, enduring, and receptive. The strength of the feminine is it's ability to HOLD (on every level). It is adaptability and flexibility. It is connected to the earth. It prioritizes the family and community, even above masculine ideals which prioritize the Platonic, the national, or the global. The feminine holds, creates, and perpetuates culture and spirituality. You need to get out more, and I really mean that.

Women have this weird bias when it comes to men. They think high quality men were just born that way. There's also a subconscious feeling that if men can't make it on their own, they were never good enough in the first place and don't deserve a good life. That helping boys develop into men is not a good thing because the ones that were good enough would do it without any help so you're only making life easier for the weak ones. This often extends even to their own sons. Extremely well said.

And historically, it’s women that have been unequal to men. There is never been one actual instance of women being unequal to men. I mean, there is no unequal pay because of gender, but there is unequal pay because of experience, skill set and education. but there's the thing: feminists don't want to talk about experience, skill set and education because if they did talk about those things, feminists would find women who are not quite able to live up the socio-political myth of the Wonder Woman.…

"Toxic masculinity" is a term for the more negative memetic traits associated with being a man (emotional repression i.e. "sucking it up", the perceived importance of sexual activity, the negative connotation around men and especially boys doing/liking things that are seen as "girly") usually passed through media (though not the ones you think, ironically) and in one's youth, rather than genetically. It just seems like the vest way to get rid of toxic masculinity and equality between the genders is to reduce the amount of physiological and biological differences between the genders. Seriously. There's a reason feminism is described in waves because much like generations, they don't have that much to do with each other. But that's very disengoous to say different waves of feminism are not related, because feminism is not feminism with out 1. women being oppressed by men 2. men being the oppressors of women. With out women being victims, and men being the victimizers of women, there is no feminist ideology. That's how all forms/waves of feminist are related.

I wonder what's the measure of a woman? The measure of a woman is to shift responsibility for her own actions onto another person, ideally a man. Puberty for men, the transition from boyhood to manhood is perhaps to kill a lion. Conversely, puberty for women, the transition from girlhood to womanhood, depends on how effectively she can lie to men about the wonder-land her pussy has and how blissful a relationship would be with her.

Women are more risk avoidant than men, so this usually leads to "safer" choices in life. Those choices aren't always the best choices though. The entire subreddit is about the discussion of the avoidance of roast beef curtains. Cut it however you wish, but this subreddit sees 10 new dumb-as-fuck threads on a daily basis. When the only real topic of discussion, the one that matters, is the undeniable fact that our cocks are still fit to suck even into old age and women lose the shit at about 25 years of age. All of this other talk about income inequality and diversity in the workplace is a sideshow.

Except women wouldn't talk about wanting to have sex with each other if every one of them was lying. Most of those women do lie, its just they've managed to convince each other of the same lie -- and they only hang around other women who believe in the same lie as they do, and the more they interact only with women who are like them, the more everything seems normal. They've managed to convince each other a lie is reality using consensus based decision making model. All of your sarcastic remarks…

There is no single economic driver, government, or incentive that unites a billion Africans like in China and India. You said yourself in the OP: "Patriarchal worldviews have incentivized the best Chinese and Indian women to date outside their race and get educated and married abroad." I almost consider myself a MGTOW, and I've had a ltr, and i made something of myself with two degrees, two jobs and economic self-sufficiency. Despite what you may have told yourself, MGTOW does not necessarily mean a departure from women, as it can also mean a departure from redpill/bluepill. In essence, a departure from the entire show. Well, you've capitulated to feminism and you're fighting for male societal roles that you think will somehow "free" men from being too masculine, when you really ought to re-evaluate your interventionist ideology. Your prescriptive approach towards men in society seems to be predicated on the notion of stirring up contention in order to keep yourself relevant.

Women can not successfully self-govern. Ergo, women must be made to feel devalued, degraded or oppressed in some manner ideally by an agency they can most closely identify with, namely other women. The goal is to balkanize women into various factions competing for control of a singular, powerful, monolithic albeit vague ideal such as "equality of the genders."

No. Male stoicism is a type of resilience, and there is an honor and dignity to being predictable, stable and reliable. So, in the advent of a crisis or emergency, a man possessing stoicism will keep his emotions under control, exercising discipline to remedy whatever problem he faces. If, on the other hand, a man loses discipline over his emotions both internally and externally, then there are two problems: his lack of discipline and salient crisis or emergency he faces. I just keep it all very simple: feminism says that men are its enemy, and white heterosexual males are that enemy. So, as a self-identifying white heterosexual male, I know what my societal role is supposed to be.

So maybe you should tell your BP friends that just because guys slept with women, they don't owe them "duty and integrity". Exactly! Counter-intuitive behavior is required here. Women are not entitled to chivalry, not any longer -- and women can thank feminism for that.

Raising children is natural. yes, yes, I know, before you get that look on your face, raising children is not natural, that it is a social construct forced on women by the patriarchy who seeks to oppress women. And that women are of an illuminated effervescence and men are lower than the dust. I think you've covered those main points before, haven't you?

Keeping in mind that social programs are an entitlement to someone else’s body through the taxation of their labor. Capitalism does that and much, much more by actually redistributing all wealth into the hands of a few people who often did no work at all.

I'm talking about situations where you see a girl you're attracted to and only have like 30 seconds or even 10 seconds to make a move before you'll most likely never see her again. Why do you think your advice is helpful? You live in an ivory tower, /u/shoup88. Your advice doesn't actually address the basic problems that incels and a lot of other men have. You seem intent on sugar coating things with kind words rather than make a genuine effort to resolve issues. The point of analogous is to help walk you across the figurative boarder or gaf between you and what other people are going through. Since you don't have a common frame of reference with people who are struggling …
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/18 03:25 PM

Do you think this is bad advice? The advice from a woman like yourself about love and sexual matters is analogous to an economically rich person giving economic advice to people who are economically poor. To use a metaphor, you live in an ivory tower, /u/shoup88. How is your advise helpful to anyone on PPD or any other subreddit for that matter? Maybe you can float your ideas to the folks reading /r/feminism?

You're making two different points here and neither of them is a summary of mine. let's recap, because either you don't understand the implications of what you have said or you are deliberately trying to antagonize other posters on PPD. /r/PurplePillDebate04/05/18 02:31 PM
-1

No, women are not trying to control what everyone says, does, and thinks. Thank you. You've just rewritten feminism's basic tenant that men are conspiring to oppress women. If there is no conspiracy, then there is no need to enact such a draconian view of life and therefore there is no need for feminism.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/18 02:23 PM

Then your advice is useless in matters of love and sex when it concerns men, wouldn't you say?
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/18 01:59 PM

Women are not trying to control what everyone says, does and thinks? Then feminism with its paranoid, frayed philosophy of life would just fall apart.

Ok.So, let me try to understand what you would agree with in the following points: cutting up women with a knife or other sharp object is bad. cutting up men with a knife or other sharp object is ok. Now, you would agree with points 1 and 2? IF you say you agree with both points 1 and 2, then I should let you know up front that I am going to equate you with a feminist.
/r/PurplePillDebate04/05/18 01:40 PM
1

Well, I'm glad you're open about that. However, I think the truth of the matter is you need to recognize the emotional comfort and validation you seek isn't even really obtained by many men, even ones who actively get laid. I am sure am glad you recognize that, because it means some men are slowing catching on to what most other men have realized. Christ. You sound like one of the feminist mods on PPD who have said to me, "Don't you realize that white heterosexual men are not the norm!?!?!?!"

That's modern feminism hypocrisy. Women also demand to know a man's height (which is largely genetically determined) while asking a woman's weight (which is largely environmental) is considered rude. Your initial question is silly. There are only so many people who visit this corner of subreddit, even few of those people actually read and post here, and most of those responses are going to be predictable and rote -- and that's not a reflection on the people who posts. There are just too many differences and different kinds of people who are engaged in some type of relationship, and each relationship is different from the next. So, you ought to be posing a more focused question.
/r/PurplePillDebate29/04/18 01:58 AM

This is classic TRP but does PPD consider it a healthy relationship dynamic? Does it really matter? I mean even the best advice is effectively for only so long until boredom and staleness sets in, loneliness impels people to branch out and find new ways of engaging in their existing relationships or find new relationships with different personalities who interact in new and unexpected ways.

Feminism is predicated upon the notion that women are oppressed and discriminated by men so one of the possible ramifications of this is adopting policies aimed at sheltering and protecting women by any possible slight (real or perceived) coming from the male segment of the population. One of the basicd tennets of feminist theory is that women are oppressed all of the time, in every way, at every strata of society by men, and therefore, because women a…

We all know the situation as to when a woman will give certain guys sex rather quickly, but will make other guys wait. Lets start off by saying that most will agree, a woman isn’t obligated to give sex. However, there is one simple solution that women don’t tend to like, and men tend to not do, that could fix this problem: Just like a woman isn’t obligated to give sex, a man isn’t obligated to stay and wait. If she gives it up to the Chads and Tyrones, but not to the Steven that’s been emotional…

How is this relevant to my comment? Think it through. As a feminists themselves have said many times, every fault in the world today is directly the result of men not being like women, and men oppressing women makes the world Topsy-turvy. So, feminists protecting men from discrimination through the symbolic representation of the penis is a contradiction to the mission that feminists have assigned to themselves and we have come to know through their messaging which is to style themselves as the p…

Do you disagree that most comedy writers and stand up comedians are men? probably because most the funniest comedians are men, and so comedy shows sell better if the entertainer is funny. Shows sell poorly if the entertainer is not funny. That's the free market in action.

Why should feminists protect the penis from jokes, and not men? Feminists have styled themselves through their messaging as the proponents of everything positive while characterizing men as everything negative. If men as a group do something positive, feminists will say that men have begun to think like women and in order to think like women, men have to renounce their male privileges and admit they are evil. Everything is the white man's fault. Everything.

So when it's still a problem that men won't show weakness Hi. I am not the person you responded to, but never the less I decided to put in my bits here. There is a tendency, I think, to conflate display weakness with showing emotions. Anecdotally, one possible reason why I learned to stop showing weakness and what formed my definition of weakness came from a variety of sources. For example, when kids at school beat me, and I reported to my grandmother about this going on, she said I should try t…

Most women couldn't nurture had a pet bunny rabbit. Do women care about men? Do women care about children? But when a man comes along offering a Disney-land escapist fantasy of adventure and dollar green wishes, you fucking know she will care about that. I am supposed to open up to that? I've shared personal poetry of an intimate nature (non-sexual) with women, and didn't turn out well. I work two jobs, 50 hours a week, and I am more comforted by two grilled burgers with the deep yellow mustard …

So, anyway, showing emotional weakness and physical weakness is a definite no-no. I am a child of double-abandonment, meaning both my father and mother left me. In my early teens, I was twice institutionalized in a hospital psychiatric ward, and there learned different lessons of violence. I was told repeatedly that I was depressed, and I was told this so often tghat I no longer wanted to hear it or even to the people saying it to me. So, while still I nthe hospital, the staff called security on…

In an unrelated yet similar story from high school, I can recount the high school principal coercing a female teacher to accuse a student of being sexist, of displaying certain misogynistic behaviors. I mean, I actually witnessed the coercion and the teacher went along with it. This was back in 1996. I can't prove any bit of it at all, but I witnessed it.

The story is complex. The girl and I were both enrolled in the same theater class. Part of our regular assignment was to attend actual plays out on in the theatre by professional actors, write about what we saw and heard, and then hand in those reports to the professor for grading. During one play, I sat next to the aforementioned girl while she was working, and I started working to (working means writing about the play we saw on stage). later on, I learned this girl thought I was stalking her w…

I think this thread is a very good one, and reading the comments here, I think it will be a fruitful thread with interesting ideas and insights. I am very glad you have structured this thread to move away from the usual feminist perspective of the defective male. Yet, when ideas such as "Toxic Masculinity" or male suicide is discussed - men are often prompted to open up more, ask for help, and talk about their feelings. So why don't they do that? As with many topics, suicide has many different p…

No one needs to justify anything to me personally, but the instant it starts degrading how they treat people, it's no longer just their own business. So, you're an interventionist who thinks they have all the answers. You did not actually say it word-for-word, but the impression you leave sounds like this: "Feminism is about EQUALITY and if you are not for EQUALITY, we're going to get involved in YOUR LIFE and any refusal to change will be labeled as MYSOGNY."

From my understanding a prenuptial agreement will not protect marital assets. People do not also take "everything" in a divorce, it is split equitably from the pool of marital assets. Which is the polar opposite of reality.

the LAW is sex neutral Not when its written in favor of women. The law is written by people, and most of the people who write the laws concerning divorce, etc. have a bias heavily slanted towards women. You act as if "THE LAW" naturally exists and therefore inviolate and unbiased.

Why not, it is just a way to protect premarital assets in the event of a divorce. And that's where prenups come into play so men can have protection against her taking everything.
