It’s like I tell my sons, men are stronger than women and they should never lay their hands on one. They have other recourses should a woman assault them, such as filing for a VPO or calling the police to make a report. Also, in many parts of the US, especially country and rural places, women are still accused of instigating abuse. Domestic violence incidents are not all black and white. There are extreme cases on either end.

Suicide among teens is a problem too. The problem appears to stem from people ignoring the signs of suicide.

Was more of a leftie feminist and now I’ve moved closer to the middle, mainly because my sons were starting to feel threatened by my anti-man stance. Second, I just learned that the world of feminism becomes toxic just as anything else where human nature is involved. The more you give, the more it demands. It’s tiring after a while

YMCA was created for men, but it serves women. The YWCA was created for women but it serves men. Don’t make me repeat myself

Stop being lazy and call your local YWCA. And Johnny Depp was named because he’s an entertainer and he loves this spectacle he and Heard have created.

You can’t publicly name victims of domestic violence without violating their privacy. What are you talking about?

I know what I’m talking about. Just calls your local YWCA or the YWCA USA and ask

Yes it does. I know for a fact that many of these DV agencies serve men. It’s not an assumption. And if the ones by you don’t, then you need to make some noise

Just try the YWCA. I don’t know about this Georgia group

Check out the YWCA And for those of you who down voted me, you’re either ignorant as fuck or disengaged from reality a long time ago. Fuck you.

Domestic Violence agencies now serve men and the LGBTQ community, so I don’t know why so many people are surprised at the notion that men are abused as well.

I want to see the statistics for the first two, and a link to those statistics too.

I’ll summarize your post in one word: desperate.

You guys are coming up with the most ridiculous arguments. I must be making a lot of sense of you must come up with some weird shit. Thanks.

It is about choice. The choice to put family and home first for scores of women who didn’t make the statistics in the sub posted here.

Most of the work women do is not monetarily valued, such as child rearing and housework. This includes working 24/7 to raise kids and keep the home tidy, aside from any full-time employment if they’re out in the workforce. That’s not taking into consideration all the free volunteering they do as well. Add to that the fact that most jobs women find themselves in are lower paid jobs than what men are entitled to, just so they can keep up with the kids and the housework. I’m sure this will give you…

I’d have banned you too. What happened to George Floyd should not be used as a loose analogy. The man slowly lost his last breath as those who swore to protect him looked on and did nothing but force that last breath out of him. I can’t possibly see the relationship between a victim of police brutality and the feminists you deplore.

I’m great, thanks. Just had dinner with my son, who snuck a few hours away from his busy life to spend time with me.

You’re the bigger fucker for not being able to express your opinions without resorting to insults. Eat shit and die

It is hurting domestic violence, because it’s her word against his, and it causes a lot of skepticism whenever either gender steps up. This spills over to other domestic violence cases and you have law enforcement and regular citizens who start questioning intimate partner abuse. This has become a spectacle and definitely a regression for domestic violence advocates.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
