Total conjecture but from an evolutionary standpoint this also makes sense. Testosterone increases aggression and other physical and mental faculties that improve hunting or even foraging, and you need less aggression after you've eaten and activated your parasympathetic (rest and digest) phase. Also, these hormones fluctuate daily anyway. No one has constant baseline levels of testosterone.

Statistically they just rarely match up with my preferences. I'm an atheist, black women are (I believe?) the most religious demographic in America. I'm very into fitness, black women are the most obese demographic in America. Well educated, traditional, not common in black women either.
