Absolutely, and actual sociology research has been similarly brushed away. E.g. that study that showed people ignore flaws in research saying "Women good at X" but more critical of flaws in research that says "Men good at X", ironically people nitpicked it for flaws in academia Lots of research into lonely suicidal men is suppressed unless it says it's the mens fault and not any broad issues with society or how men are treated.

This actually supports a trend I've noticed - women who are more into feminism tend to have the most "traditionally" masculine boyfriends. The women who spend more of their days talking about "toxic masculinity" and bemoaning gender roles are the same ones on the arm of tall, rich, gym junkies who brag about how much they lift. It's as if they hate men so much, that only the most "manly" men can break through that to catch their interest.

No, the old left is concerned about class issues. The poor proletariat vs the rich landlords and companies. It's the new left that focuses on anti-male, gender and race stuff. Because the new left gets bogged in gender, race, culture war crap (like who is allowed to throw a ball with who or bathrooms etc), they don't pay attention to really important stuff like companies buying up all the properties and hiking rents.
