Most women aren’t into that look. Men like are perceived are vain and narcissistic. I had a roommate who was built like that. He was a professional stuntman. Actually a very nice guy, though I wasn’t attracted to him at all. But his diet and workout routine were just insane. Very difficult for most people to maintain on an ongoing basis.

The uncertain back and forth is really only supposed to be a thing at the very beginning. People don’t want to show their cards too early when they aren’t reasonably certain that the person is genuinely into them. But, even then there should be a sort of tit for tat. Nobody should be chasing and the other person just absorbing their attention

Except guys who are good with women, show up as their authentic selves and are looking for genuine connections are not guys chatting up women in bars on weekends - they’re guys who are married or in long-term relationships. I know quite a few men and women who met their partners through married or partnered friends.

Often, hard driving career women end up with either doormats/slackers, other highly career oriented men or more commonly men whose ambitions are not the traditional career track type, like a brilliant chef, guy who works with disabled children, artisan tradespeople, etc. these are guys who are often seen as leaders in their fields , but they often aren’t corporate type ambitious.
