Thanks to the internet the value and stock of women has dropped exponentially and they are not worth investing in 3 months wages for a ring. There have been slow downs in the past but men still valued women as "precious" and would still slave away to buy that ring they always wanted. Now men are questioning if women are even worth buying a $40-50 meal for or even wasting $5 to buy them a drink at the bar.
