cut through the bullshit here to get at the heart of the issue "Women are oversized children that you are allowed to fuck" paraphrasing here, but is a popular mantra among TRPers.

What makes you think that this was perpetuated by women with this statement? The matriarchal assault on men continues.

You should look up the definition of "comparison" because you basically said "it's not a comparison, but it's a comparison." You wanted the reference and now you're going to blame me for giving the guy views... Fuck me right? I guess I can't win.

Sam Harris, "Letters to a Christian Nation" p.90: Some researchers have speculated that religion itself may have played an important role in getting large groups of prehistoric humans to socially cohere. If this is true, we can say that religion has served an important purpose. This does not suggest, however, that it serves an important purpose now. There is, after all, nothing more natural than rape. But no one would argue that rape is good, or compatible with a civil society, because it may ha…

The articles that are linked have direct quotes of Harris and Dawkins inside. Why are you so interested in throwing the baby out with the bathwater?

It's an excuse to stay ignorant. I knew the moment I was being asked to back myself up for SPECIFIC timestamps to TJs video](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K6ys-OklTOA) when it's there within the first few minutes of the vid(1:40-3:20), then following is a caricature by TJ of a feminist who is critical of him, then 3:55-until much later on he carries on defending his comments as just jokes because they are so absurd or whatever. Richard Dawkins's tweets about rape and pedophilia last week cover…

It's the crux of his entire video "Rape, Feminism and the Amazing Atheist". Excuse me, but I'm on my phone and I don't feel like holding your hand. Why don't you just watch the video yourself? You would kind of need to watch it for context anyway it's around the beginning of the vid anyway. He clearly tries to defend himself by saying those comments of his were jokes.

Would it behoove you to search some of this up yourself? Look up Richard Dawkins' Twitter account, specifically his recent tweets about mild pedophilia and mild rape. TheAmazingAtheist defending his right to threaten people with rape in his recent video. Thunderf00t's videos a year ago(teach men not to rape) telling women that they need to minimize risk by dressing less slutty and going out less and drinking less without looking up the stats himself. Sam Harris' comment that he would eradicate r…

Nope. He deliberately said it was a joke in his recent video and was defending himself for it, rendering the apology useless. Why would he juxtapose those quotes with his right to make rape jokes?

A recurring theme within the atheist community is that the louder voices rationalize rape. Sam Harris said that there are certain evolutionary advantages with rape. A few loud voices look upon the act in a morally relative way. "It's not right for you but may be right for some".

I'll just come in and say my piece, because TJ isn't making any jokes... If he thinks that telling a rape victim that he/she deserves what happened to them is a joke, well, it's not funny. He's told people to "just get over it" because it happened to him and he turned out just fine... Not really something you want to do unless you want the person to feel even worse about themselves. He told one person who voiced their disdain to mentally "relive the experience in their head and think about where…

The original quote which was upvoted still says that marital rape, according to redpillschool(an endorsed contributor), does not exist. Please don't be so willfully ignorant, because you're being obtuse right now.

People take shit down? Images 127 - 134 is screenshots of shit that u/RedPillSchool has said. Image 131 he states sex within marriage has already been consented to What exactly does he mean by this? It means he believes that the couple are in a constant state of consent concerning sex. Marital rape, according to him, does not exist, and one could make the inference that "marital rape is a fucking joke" from that. *edit. Words.

Another theory is that she may have Munchausen Syndrome, a facticious disorder. It's characterized by a constant need for someone to have a professional caregiver looking over them and is different from lying or malingering if there is no motive for personal gain. Also professionals are trying to look at the possibility that she may have had a phantom pregnancy. Just saying that there are other possibilities than "bitch be lying".

Can you provide a few sources for this claim? I would like to read up more about this.

I'd tell the girl she allowed herself to be in a vulnerable situation and someone took advantage of that vulnerability and raped her. That's it? That isn't really advice, it's more... telling them their situation. Would you encourage him/her to tell the authorities? She could have willingly consented after coming onto me and wouldn't have remembered it. I could've had a rape allegation thrown on me. Good for not having sex with her, but not good to just have her sleep in the same bed as you. Did…

Just so I'm clear on your point of view, you're saying the victim has no culpability for what happens to her if she drinks until passing out while alone at a frat party? No. You can't hold yourself responsible for having other people act upon your unconscious body. If someone is alone, passed out at a party, measures should be taken to remove that person safely. Someone passes out at a party and they get raped would you actually tell that person to their face that it was partially their fault? "…

I'd say common sense is, if you're in college and go to a frat party, make sure you have at least a friend with you and don't drink until you pass out. It's not saying she's responsible when the guy rapes the passed out girl. It's saying the passed out girl was responsible for drinking until passing out at a frat house. How is this not victim blaming? The guy couldn't control himself because, what, that's what college frat boys do? Sure, she put herself in a vulnerable position, but us guys aren…

The best way to explain off the top of my head what the term rape culture is, is that rape culture encompasses attitudes supportive of rape or sexual assault. Victim-blaming is one example of rape culture. Some people's perceived entitlement to sex whenever they want from others is another example. The idea that when you go out to a bar or go out clubbing that the main purpose is to pick someone up. Rational wiki has a pretty good summary of rape culture on their site.

Did... did you just suggest that people who are desperate for sex are on the same level as those suffering from lung cancer? You don't have the right to have sex with someone for just being their friend. It's called consent bro, and it goes both ways.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
