Oh, your view can't really be changed on this considering it's kind of just objective reality. Doesn't mean the rule is absolute, but as a general trend, you're correct. One need only look at those charts showing how men rate women on a bell curve and women only find guys around the top 20% or more "attractive" the majority of the time (so over 50% I believe). I doesn't matter if a woman thinks she's an 8. She's a 5, yet can't stand that she's average. I think that's what pisses me off the most …

I dunno, investigate, right? It's probably fair to say that if she's a hardcore man-hating feminist, she's probably a massive hypocrite. I wouldn't be totally surprised. That being said, you should just go ahead and investigate on your own. Try to catch her when she seems most suspicious, rather than showing your hand.

I'm in a similar situation, without the girlfriend (ever). I did have a father figure in my life, but I do think I have serious dependency/attachment issues that will only be solved when I move out on my own. So I think it's going to be a process. Don't freak out. Just calm down, relax, and realize that you can make positive changes for yourself, even if they're not all at once. Baby steps?

It might be a really big gap IMO. Legally, yeah. Socially, probably not. I think people tend to look down on guys in their late 20's, early 30's who are "taking advantage of" young, foolish girls. I would say 22-23 would be max for it not to be too weird.

You can kill a man, but you can't kill an idea.
