How else do I respond when he's answering a question I didn't ask?
/r/askMRP31/01/18 06:02 PM

I guess I'm misunderstanding the purpose of the sub then.

Got it
/r/askMRP31/01/18 06:00 PM

You're right.
/r/askMRP31/01/18 05:59 PM

Well that's the thing. I'm not sure that I lost. The next morning and after that she's been very good. I think it's probably right to say the mood swing is due to the pregnancy, and not anything I did to "win", but if that's the case, there's probably not much I did to "lose" in the first place, because she has pregnancy brain, as /u/alphafux was saying. She came to me and apologized, without me having you prompt or anything. What is that?
/r/askMRP31/01/18 01:44 PM
1

Oh I know you're right about that. Thanks for the advice.
/r/askMRP31/01/18 01:41 PM

Why do they act like that? Thanks for the advice.
/r/askMRP31/01/18 05:40 AM

That's a good point. I'm trying to be objective, but it's hard to see past a lot of the shit that I'm getting on here from people who seem really rabidly upset by my OP and my responses.

This is /r/askmrp. That's exactly what it's for.

Well, in the Marines it was mostly running pushups, situps, and pull ups, so not a lot of MASS, but I was lean and defined then. 1391. I hated it ha.
/r/askMRP31/01/18 01:47 AM
1

So how could I have better responded?
/r/askMRP31/01/18 01:45 AM
1

You're right about that. I sometimes wonder if the most rabid responders to this stuff are the most proto-autist of all. They're the most incensed about my responses and lack of exhibiting RP characteristics, in the OP and comments, and they're the ones who aren't detached etc.
/r/askMRP31/01/18 01:24 AM
1

I misunderstood. I assumed you were suggesting that I do that.
/r/askMRP31/01/18 01:19 AM
1

Thanks for the constructive recommendations. A lot of the people have been insulting and way past the limit of tough direct advice, and almost seem to be rabidly angry because of something I didn't do right in the scenario, when that's the exact reason why I'm here.

I think it's the degree that I'm having trouble perceiving. Any thoughts?

Nothing, other than I have a job now that makes it easier for me to work a workout in. See you in 35 pounds actually, that was my Marine Corps weight.

I ended up doing that. See edit in the OP.

I have said it often enough on here, it wasn't a secret. I knew she wanted to go home, but she was being shitty before we left and she could have stayed home. I just saw no reason to acknowedge what seems to me to be unreasonable behavior. The fact of her pregnancy probably had very little to do with it as she has exhibited the same behavior without being pregnant. I guess I just don't see when I'm supposed to ignore her shit on the one hand and be sensitive to her supposedly clear signs. I can …

Last I did squats I was at 225 before I injured it again. I don't know what it is now. I can appreciate that DEERing is functionally the same as giving a reason when it comes to women, because they can't perceive a difference and both make you wreak. The difference is I expect this community of men to be different in the sense that we don't have to have to worry about appearing weak when asking for help. Edit: weak not wreak

I think this a community that's supposed to be open to discussion, where people can actually talk without worrying about comments like yours. It's one thing to provide tough-to-hear advice, etc., and another to just shit on people. You seem like an asshole who didn't really contribute anything in this comment. I see no utility in breaking my own door when it took me 30 seconds to pick the lock.

I was really tempted to just kick it in, but I didn't for two reasons. I was concerned about paying for repairs. My motives were because I was annoyed and a little angry about it, not for something chiller.

You are of course right. I started training for the FBI PFT last week. I just got a new job this month that pays ALMOST six figures, and is a 30% increase over what I made before and I have really long lunches so I'm working out at lunch.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:47 PM
1

Oh I agree. And I should do it I know. I started training for the PFT a week ago, and I'm committed to it and I'll make progress.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:44 PM
1

You're right about that.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:41 PM
1

No, I just don't know how to quote on my phone's app. I mean the fact that she's pregnant.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:19 PM
2

I see what you're saying about my mom, but at least overtly that isn't the case, though it's something that's a danger because I was raised by her by herself. Regarding the convo at the gas station, it was just a conversation, the guy approached me.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:19 PM
0

Can you tell me more about that?
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:16 PM
1

I don't really know how to respond to that. I'm not making excuses, I'm just telling facts.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:16 PM
-2

It's actually irrelevant in this case that's she's pregnant because she pulls tune same shit when she's not pregnant. My mom didn't help anything.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:15 PM
2

That might be the case if she didn't pull the same shit when she's not pregnant. I know this is the internet so I can say what I want without it being verifiable, but I cold approach girls frequently just to see what I can pull, and my coworker is an 8 and I know I could sleep with her. I'm still attractive even though I'm over weight because I carry it very well. I think that has been part of the reason it's hard for me to be motivated to work out.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:13 PM
2

I didn't change plans at first because it was no new news for her to start acting like that. I just tried to ignore the behavior. Regarding picking the lock, I don't understand your question. I picked the lock to go in and go to bed.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:09 PM
1

In fact no. I'm on a healthy keto diet and do intermittent fasting with a four hour eating window from 5 to 9 p.m. It's laziness, not impulse control.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:07 PM

Regarding the issue of leaving, I see that. How should I have handled it though?

I never said that I was overweight because of my knee.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 02:00 PM

Thanks, I'll read that. I know things aren't supposed to be fair, but men have hormonal tendencies. Mine is to fuck the girl in the office next to mine. There would be no one telling her "he's just got dick- brain". Edit: her meaning my wife.
/r/askMRP30/01/18 01:59 PM

5'6", 200, don't know because I keep injuring my knee when I try to increase weight, way too high, but getting down for the FBI PFT. Probably 30%.

So like, treat her good in the morning like nothing happened? I worry that that rewards the behavior.

At the time, you're right, I was not spinning plates. But I got all I wanted from her. In my case it was a fulfilling relationship on many levels. I have no regrets, but I realize it's anecdotal.

This is a hard thing to go through I imagine. You're missing out on something, though. We know that women in general have a difficult time making good logical decisions, especially when they are also emotional or turned on, this isn't a criticism of them as you know, just an observation of fact. Yet when they act like that it doesn't necessarily disqualify them for whatever kind of relationship we want (plate through wife) because we know AWALT. There's statistically no such thing as a unicorn, …

Dieting was only one of the things I mentioned. But, you don't really get to dictate how people respond. Dieting was part of your topic. And it's important to your question because what you're doing is going to be really slow and there are faster ways, which will mean you have to "keep him" as you say for less time before you're back in shape.
/r/MarriedRedPill16/06/16 03:41 PM
1

If you're not a troll then it's good that you're concerned about this. If you think that with everything you say you're doing right you shouldn't have to look good, you're wrong. If you want to keep him, you gotta look good. Unless he's a little bitch then maybe you could keep him anyway, but neither of you would be happy. First, and this is the same I tell guys, the working out is for you. You say you don't really care about the make attention. Do you care about your health. 60 pounds overweigh…

You need to reevaluate why you're getting married to her if she doesn't respect you and you're concerned about this. You don't marry someone who disrespects you. And you don't marry works in progress. You may need to make some hard decisions and use your brain as opposed to your heart or your dick right now. Make the decision that's best for you. This may mean that you tell her that you need to hold off on getting married until you see if you can learn to live MRP and to see how she responds to …

If she's had zero side effects, then what is she worried about it messing with her body? However, if she insists on getting off the pill and you insist on no condoms and neither person wants to get snipped or tied because you're young then have her get an IUD. They release hormones only locally, there is no systemic flushing of hormones through her whole body like a pill. If she's unwilling to do that then fall back on this: You're going to do what you're going to do. If she's not going to get o…

What is your question exactly? If you're asking for field reports of applying MRP to a marriage where the wife is already submissive and pleasing by default, or asking what people think of doing that, I'll answer that. Consider why you're applying it. Does she need any changes in her behavior? If not, then I would consider applying the personal facets of MRP to your life first. Self improvement, lifting, frame, male friends, hobbies, etc. These are things that can make her trust in your ability …

Great post. I hadn't seen this. Edit: I just read it twice. Do you have any recommendations on your last point in the epilogue of leaving your wife penniless in divorce? My marriage has been good for the past two years out of five, but I'm always working on adopting outcome independence, and knowing how to do come out on top in divorce would be helpful.

To understand why she starts a conversation in the middle, see the comment threads by /u/over60_stupid_loner, /u/purpleveteran and /u/whitetrashkiller. Basically she's been hamstering about it for who knows how long before she brings it up to you, and she brings it up to you at the point she's in in her brain. Here's the thing, you don't just spin plates just to do it. If you are satisfied with your current relationship, that doesn't inherently mean that there's a problem. Your situation is a common one, however. There's a difference between choosing a monogamous relationship because that's what you want in life, and she seems to be a good candidate for that, and getting oneitis, not being able to invasive life without her, letting the relationship rule you etc. The oneitis robs you of your ability to…

You're in the right track. Nothing you've described indicates that you need to change anything. Just because she's realized that that's what's happening isn't a problem. She's supposed to realize that you're fine with doing something else. You're demonstrating outcome independence. That has raised your SMV somehow, or perhaps you're doing other things to raise your SMV, but either way, you're having positive responses. Keep it up. She probably throw shot tests or comfort tests your way because o…

I think this is a good plan going forward. Before I had a dedicated TRP username, I made this mistake right when asktrp was started. I don't remember who set me right, but it was enough for me. u/illimitableman took the proverbial words right out of my mouth though about the Asian guy who complains about blonde girls. We're probably never gonna be able to control that perfectly, but the people who are here for the right reasons will be affected by the temporary bans and will learn to act right.

I'm white and American and had good game before I was married. My wife is from a SouthEast Asian country. Most of the men I've met from there were little birches. Beta to the max and plain shitty. So SE Asian males probably don't have much success there.

What book? You could be uncomfortable for a couple reasons. One, you don't really understand what's happening or don't really understand the changing dynamics. For that, tag the sidebar, as others have said. Two, she is working on maximizing her potential as a woman and you're possibly not making the same strides as a man. This is a phenomenon called dread. Usually when one SO it's improving and the other isn't it makes the non-improver uncomfortable to say the least. At last it makes them conce…

What does your gut say? My impression is that you suspect that you've somehow lost your momentum. You're probably right. And most of the time once you very friend zoned you don't come back from it. I tend to agree. I've heard, ahem, that blowjobs are helpful to get it up when you're having a hard time. Something about the woman being actively involved in trying to get you off as opposed to it being incidental to the experience of sexy time, as you call it.

This is a good question. I can say that I regret getting married as early as I did, because I had a lot to learn about TRP and implementing TRP is much more difficult when you're married because it's hard to have outcome independence when you have kids and a wife who could divorce-rape you etc. However, despite the fact that the change has been more difficult to implement than what I fantasize it would have been pre-marriage, my wife is getting it. This is a great question! First, as others have said, you may find more relevant information on /r/marriedredpill. Subscribe and just pay attention to what goes on there. Here are my thoughts, however. One, is if you're not in an LTR now, or at least not in one that you need to stay in, you're in an ideal spot to get yourself ready and worthy of a unicorn (or as close to a unicorn as the real thing gets). Changing once you're in a marriage is difficult, because with children in the picture, and …

I think it's super interesting though that had he done it right, on the surface things would have been very similar. Her hamster would have been going, she would be trying to explain that "who knows what could happen in the future etc." not to make him feel better but to try to backpedal after he didn't just fall into orbiter status after her revelation that she was in a relationship. It is potentially a great case study of how subtle and nuanced TRP is.
/r/askTRP16/08/15 07:08 PM

I think you may be right, now that you say it like that. Though with a few tweaks, he could make that work for him. Laugh and say he's leaving but don't lose frame, just like you said.

I think I'm answering the question. The point is that one's expectation of when a girl will put out, and how long a guy will wait for that to happen depend on what he's looking for. It's not standardized. Even the same guy could date different girls with different expectations. If he just wants to get his sick wet, he probably doesn't care about n-count and will probably next her if she doesn't put out right away or almost right away. The same guy, if he decides that he wants an LTR, while perha…

I didn't interpret his story like that, about being sad and he consoling him. Perhaps he laughed for the wrong reason, but his actions seemed to have had the right result with the girl who was going on and on about who knows what could happen, which I interpreted as her trying to keep the door open with him. As far as you're assessment of religious girls in modern days I find that to be a gross generalization and pretty much contrary to what TRP says in context of finding a girl for an LTR. Any …

I think of two things, and they're not judgments. At that age I remember all I cared about regarding the opposite sex was fucking. If a 7 would fuck easily and a 9 was work, I'd go for the 7. If your daughter doesn't fuck (good job), then that's probably what's happening. Hotter girls, while often actually easier to approach, are more intimidating to approach. So perhaps that's working against her in a way. Especially if she doesn't dick, because then she's intimidating add well as a lot of work…

I disagree, in part. Obviously, TRP provides valuable lessons for men to become the kind of person who can be a great night game PUA all the way to someone who brings TRP to bear in all aspects of life. However, there is a legitimate, if perhaps unpopular on r/theredpill proper that helps people who want marriage or LTRs.

The way people typically use this phrase is very beta. You always hear this when it's a man taking about being sure not to piss off his wife, or buying her shit etc. I've also gotten this from a guy in church who happened to witness a private moment between me and my wife, where she got a bit pissy and walked away because I wouldn't indulge some nonsense that I don't remember. He approached me and said something like "hey man, you know it doesn't matter if you're in the right or not, if you want…

So you posted this on r/asktrp but I don't see a question. Correct me if I'm wrong. Here's some unsolicited feedback: you made the best call of the night when you laughed at her and then said you were going home and not looking for more friends right now. That was a classic textbook response. The thing to work on though is you're perspective. You say you feel terrible about leaving the date. Why? She met you under false pretenses. The fact that you feel bad about that is a mark that even though …

Admitting you were wrong is a delicate thing in the world of TRP. It's better to just never be wrong and never make any mistakes, ha. However, that's not going to happen. So there are three categories. 1. Apologizing when you shouldn't. 2. Apologizing when you should. 3. Admitting when you done fucked up without apologizing. Number one is probably by far the most common error. She's pissy because you weren't sensitive to her needs when she said she was cold and you didn't stop what you were doin…

So you know what the end result needs to be. You can't give her boyfriend attention without being a boyfriend. And you said it, she's going to be out fucking other guys. It's shitty of her, though she's probably not trying to be shitty, to even ask for that. First of all, you don't need to be having a conversation about how much you're gonna text each other. So don't even go there. If she forces the issue, then use your RP skills on her. Amused mastery: oh, does baby boo need morning texts? Or w…

You do what you want. I assume though, that you're on here for advice and not just validation for your own opinion. If you're not married, then a ring of significance on your right hand (alma matre, religious, bike gang, whatever). If you're married then obviously a wedding ring on your left hand is appropriate. Other than that, a watch. Make it a good one. Doesn't have to be flashy, but quality is important. If you start doing gold chains etc then you run the risk of this: http://gevaaalik.com/…

From what I can see you did fine in the first round if this was a shit test. It actually probably wasn't, but I'll go through it as if it was at first for academic purposes. I spent some time working with kids with autism in college and we talked a lot about behavior modification techniques. One thing that they discussed frequently was that when faced with a response that they consciously or unconsciously know is effective against them, they often get worse before they get better, and often try …

LDS redpiller here. What you're describing is called being an Alpha Provider. It's a perfectly legit iteration if TRP, though I would imagine that some PUAs don't agree. Check these for more info: /r/marriedredpill http://www.returnofkings.com/52130/analyzing-the-5-main-alpha-archetypes
