I don’t consider myself a feminist, but when I brought up the draft without attaching gender, I was told we don’t have a draft. I feel powerless over the issues in the Ukraine. A single father shouldn’t have to orphan his children. He shouldn’t have to fight. Period.

So feminists are biased. They only want to see things through a feminist lens when it is an issue both genders can go through. It sucks because even though I don’t consider myself a feminist or a MRA, I try to not believe in gender biases. I guess I will never be accepted by either side, because I try to listen to both sides, and come up with solutions that aren’t gender biased. I am not against MRAs or feminists. I am just trying to learn from both sides to be less sexist. Obviously I care abou…

Why don’t they just call it male genitalia mutilation?

I think she is speaking based on her experience, which is obviously small. In all honesty I am sure either gender wouldn’t mind someone who paid half the bills and did all the cooking and cleaning. I mean lots of people would rather hire help than do all the extras around the house.

I think the concept of war should be part of the discussion when a politician runs. If the politician says he/she is pro war, and people support his stance on war, the people who vote for him/her should be willing to go to war. I am against the draft. When I brought this up on my Facebook I was told my country doesn’t do conscription. So I guess it’s a non issue where I live.

I once met a woman who intended to do that to any future male partner she had. I thought about one of my nephews going through that, and I decided it wasn’t right. Not the emotional harm, just the financial harm. I get that some women are upset about the pay gap, but taking it out on men who have no control over these issues is unreasonable.

I think two methods of birth control should be used at all times to prevent unwanted pregnancies. A condom by the guy, and the pill, the shot or IUD for the chick. Condoms are supposed to prevent the spread of STDs so I don’t understand why people would even not want to use condoms.

I think this is a tough issue. My understanding of things is that some people think that women should have bodily autonomy and should not be forced to carry a baby if they don’t want to. I don’t really think I am pro abortion unless the pregnancy was a result of a sexual assault of some type. That’s just my opinion though. I also don’t really think gender stereotyping is a good thing though.

Some guys have height preferences for women, so I don’t think this is purely a gendered issue. And weight might be a choice for women to some extent, but there are guys who think women should weigh 90 pounds, for some women based on healthy weight ranges by height that is really underweight, so I don’t think weight is purely about choice for women. Anorexia appears to be more rampant for females, and there is likely a reason for that. Considering the average height for men is only 5’7” I find it…

I don’t think all feminists are pro war. Don’t think all guys are either. I kind of think whoever voted for war should have to fight in the wars they believe in.

Well I guess that also proves that fathers need to be present to help raise the children. Putting the entire task of raising a child on one person is not something anyone with common sense would recommend.

This is kind of extreme. Kids cost money, even if they live with you, they cost money. I don't think only one parent male or female should bear 100% of the financial responsibility of raising that child. Posts like this just make me think people are trying to not be accountable for the financial burden of a child or children they made. If you don't want to have a child that costs money, prevent pregnancies. There is more than one method of birth control that can be used to prevent pregnancy. Bir…

I don't know if guys like you are the exception or the norm, so I honestly can't say. I also do 't know if women like that are the exception or the norm.

Sorry about what you have been through. This type of thing happens to celebrity kids a lot to the tune of millions. I don't know what advice to offer you. My parents were good to me, I never really paid for anything growing up. I do think there should be laws in place to prevent this type of child exploitation. It's probably not a popular opinion, but this type of thing happens all the time even with both parents. hugs

I saw a male plus sized model in Rhiana's Fenty male lengerie line yesterday. I think it is rare, but I saw it. I think there are less male models, but I imagine that when more men are into fashion, more plus sized male models will become visible. But that's just a theory. Personally I have never met a guy who is into fashion, but lots of fashion designers are male, so it's kind of strange.

The maximum sentence for manslaughter in Australia is 25 years, so that is not forever. It might feel like forever, but it's not. I haven't reviewed any Australian case law, but my theory is that the judge believed her defense and it was a mitigating factor. The problem with comparing cases blindly is that there are varied sentencing guidelines by state and/or country depending on how the laws are written. Some of which are more detailed than others. In Canada the judge has discretion over sente…

My guess is that it mainly be the case for the minorities on the gender spectrum, Trans women in particular.

I think 50/50 joint custody should be the standard. Anything beyond that can be negotiated to suit each parent. I mean let's say the Dad wants 60/40 and the mom is okay with it, go for it. But the responsibility should be split equally. No child support with 50/50. I would just feel sorry for the child neither parent wanted. That, to me, is tragic for the child, unless they are too young to know what's going on, or there is no way either parent could care for the child. Obviously a child will st…

They should make gendercide an issue for anyone being murdered because of their gender, no matter what it is so it can be addressed as the hate crime it is.

If they are going to remove crime of passion laws, they should do the same for women and all the other genders. If they are going to allow it, it should be the same for all genders. Personally I am not a fan of crime of passion laws, but everyone should be treated equally.

Australia doesn't have the death penalty. So it is impossible to compare American (or other countries with capital punishment) to Australia. They actually have legislation in place so they cannot revert back to capital punishment. Also, even in the USA they don't give the death penalty for manslaughter. Your point is moot. American laws have no jurisdiction over sovereign country's laws.

When I see a guy crying (which is rare) it just makes me realize how serious he is about something. To be honest I have only ever seen two men cry. One was my Dad at my Grandma's funeral which humanized my Dad to me. The other was an ex who was worried about his son because he knew how bad the mother was to him. I think a lot of people don't know how to respond when someone is crying. I didn't. I still don't. I mean I can always listen, but I am too afraid to hug someone who is crying after the …

Geez. I don't know what to say. I think generalizing an entire race is extreme though.

Yikes. There are similar sentiments where I live. I didn't believe it, but then I got groped by two. I have also met some decent Indian guys, so I don't know. I obviously try to keep an open unbiased mind. I feel like some people are just looking for reasons to justify racist and sexist statements instead of talking about how other races and genders do those things too.

I once hugged my ex when she was crying and putting herself down. I thought a hug would help, I didn't really know how to handle it, but I was trying to help. I got accused of sexual assault. I am not going to lie. I was confused. And told her I wasn't because it wasn't sexual. I was just worried about her. Anyways. I haven't hugged anyone since. I always thought hugs were a sweet gesture. Now I only hug when I am prompted. The last thing I was is to catch a charge because I thought someone need…

While I can't say for certain why people are doing that without some degree of speculation, I know some people think he is ugly, so for some people it might not be about the money. Personally I think he is cute, talented and successful and that they make a cute couple.

Is there a distress line you can call for support at night? Obviously you can't contact a doctor during her time off, but my doctor takes after hours calls. I live in Canada too, and my psychiatrist takes after hours calls for a fee. Maybe he can help you. His practice is closing soon, but he might be able to help you for a while. I have schizophrenia, and it does get easier. I never really struggle with my illness anymore, I just kind of accepted it, understood the symptoms, and eventually it g…
