I hope you're right

Shouldn't you be focusing your attention on actual men's rights, instead of trying to derail feminism? Unless of course you believe feminism itself is an infringement of men's rights ... but even still, don't you think name calling is kinda petty?

The study states that only 13% of lightning deaths occur at or during 'work'. While 64% can be attributed to leisure activities such as sports. So if this truly is a men's rights issue, then you should be taking issue with the fact that men play more sports or go fishing more than women, and not that they work outdoors in physical jobs.

Somehow I don't think lightning discriminates against who it strikes. Admittedly I only read the executive summary but even that states that the increase in deaths can be attributed to outdoor activities of which men are more likely to partake. This is not a men's rights issue. Let alone discrimination. EDIT: To the person who just down-voted - care to explain why you disagree?

Now we'll just have to see if anything comes of the charges, there's a good chance they'll get a slap on the wrist and nothing more.

Agreed, not to mention that cleanup is just easier with one. A male contraceptive pill should just be treated as another layer of protection. Female contraceptive pill + male contraceptive pill + condom = virtually no chance of accidental impregnation.

Otherwise known as a false dichotomy, or simply a 'black or white' argument.

Why are all the guys saying they prefer to pee sitting down getting downvoted? Seriously? It's not like they are advocating what's in the article or anything. I thought this was /r/mensrights ... shouldn't men have the right to choose how they pee?

You should go the whole nine yards and give them piercings and subdermal implants while you're at it. The child isn't mentally capable of making such decisions so until they're 18 that's your right. /sarcasm

So should an adult also be allowed to decide to doctor a female's genitals for aesthetics? Or how about give their child piercings, or a tattoo? Or any other form of body modification for that matter.

It was normal to the point of standard once upon a time. Primarily for reasons that no longer apply.

I recall reading an article about a study that was done many years ago regarding pay rises, (I wish I could find it again, but alas I cannot, so take what I'm about to say with a grain of salt). The study was assessing the claim the men receive more pay rises than women, even when sampling men and women in exactly the same line of work. Anyway, the study found (among other things), that men are significantly more likely to ask for a pay rise, when compared against female colleagues in the same l…

Hmmm, I hate to say it but this whole blog feels very anecdotal and makes a lot of strong assertions without any real foundation.

Sorry to argue (not trying to be rude) but that's not correct at all. The auto-complete function (Google calls it instant search) doesn't reference the user's search history at all. And it does in fact relate the the greater population, which is why auto complete results will mostly be the same for people who live in the same country / speak the same language. It is in no way tied to the user's account. See here for some good explanations I think you might be getting confused with the search alg…

Not really, It does do that to an extent, but more specifically (As seen in OP's pic), it will simply use 'past successful searches' in an attempt to predict your intended search; so searches that other people have made resulting in page clicks.

He should be resigning, how dare he hand down a guilty verdict with absolutely 0 evidence, and nothing but the word of a 17 year old girl.

What does that mean? Have you tried simply saying: "Hey Derpina, could you not do that please?" Be direct and polite, don't say it jokingly, or leave it open to interpretation, and don't do it in front of coworkers if possible. If that fails - ask your direct manager to intervene. The important part here is that you must actually ask him/her to do something about it. Don't just tell him/her what's happening. Tell them what's going on, and then inform them that you want it to stop, and that you'v…

*Don't argue with fools. The fact that she's a mother is irrelevant. As soon as you start arguing with someone who won't think logically or rationally then you're fighting a lost cause.

Pardon the crude nature of this comment but here goes ... Why does rape have to involve getting a penis hard and/or penetration? Is it still rape if a male sexually abuses a female with his hand and/or another object? I think the answer here is obviously 'yes'. So why should it be any different if a female did the same thing to a man. TL;DR I'm not 100% clear on the legal definition of rape, but I don't see why 'rape' has to involve a hard penis and/or penetration.

People who own pocket knives who live where it is legal to carry it, tend to carry them all the time. Based on what evidence.

I get what you're trying to say, and I completely agree that financially it makes perfect sense, but yeah, that doesn't mean it's the right thing to do. I understand why they do it, but that doesn't mean I agree with it. They're taking advantage of a loop hole to blatantly discriminate.... not on.
