Yet we love to say "I don't put on makeup for you but for myself" implying that we wear makeup because we want to, yet some of us use it to blame you.

True but this is about rights and taking responsibility for their decisions. If a woman doesn't want to have a baby, she does the procedure on herself. I feel that it's wrong morally to force a man to get a vasectomy. Just like there's the saying of "my body my choice" men should have that right to their body as well.

Not necessarily, and with all due respect, that doesn't really solve the issue you were addressing earlier. See, your claim is that the reason most women don't enter the area of mechanics is due to harassment. To prevent that harassment and not deal with it, women do not enter mechanics for it. However, the harassment in the medical field towards nurses happens frequently enough for it to be alarming, and with many reported cases, nothing is really done because no one really cares. It's like "th…

That could be true. Now my question is, if we're going by that logic, why don't women avoid nursing? There's harassment there too or secretary jobs where creepy businessmen can also do the same? Or flight attendant jobs where passengers and even a captain or two can do the same? If we go by your logic as the reason women avoid certain jobs due to harassment, shouldn't the ratio of female flight attendants, secretaries, and nurses be lower and not higher?

😆 you know what I find funny? People who say that usually don't think that statement through. The examples they use usually debunks their own idea. One claim is, they don't even need a man to give them children because we now have sperm donations and I'm like "where does sperm come from?" Or they don't need a man to fix things for them because they can get their car or thermastat fixed by calling someone. Now, there are awesome women car mechanics but the ratio of women mechanics to male are not…

I get frustrated with this misconception that women abusers use their fists or strength to abuse men and that because women are typically weaker physically than men, that it will just be little hits and pushes. No. Thats not what typically happens with female abusers. Female abusers KNOW that they are no match using their physical strength against a man in a fist fight. So they typically reach for objects to hurt. They use pans, spill hot water on their partner, use a knife and throw things and …

I was actually banned from a subreddit as soon as I joined this place. I was confused because I didn't remember posting anything at all there to even be banned but I guess feminists were so offended at my "betrayal"

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think there has been movements called Meninism or Meninists. It's apparently a movement made to combat against feminism and the way it is today and advocate for men's rights but if you want any positive info on it, it might not be easy. In fact a lot of articles on that movement is usually written by people for feminism, saying things like it's not needed or even blaming men for the problems women face in terms of discrimination. The movement existed in near the be…

None of those reasons are good reasons to call someone an incel, especially when you disagree with us. Do these women think men are robots who don't have thoughts of their own? I'd personally rather have a guy that disagrees and has a civil debate than someone saying, "You are so right in everything, honey! Everything. You are a genius" have an opinion. Please.

I guess that makes sense. Anything is taboo anyway. I honestly don't understand what the big deal is in using certain words that were ok before. People should just use what they want. I myself wouldn't use female, I would just use boy/ man or girl/ woman. We live in a sensitive world anyway. You can either accept it and use what you want despite the backlash or don't use it. You can't control the reactions of people and people can't control what you say.

Did you just make up your own word for Women? 😆 well freedom of speech. Also oh no there is hypocrisy in society in general, not just women. Sadly hypocrisy isn't picky with gender. Yeah I have long suspected that reddit is filled with extreme feminists. You say something they don't want to hear, they'll fight about it.

I think it could be incel and "nice guy" trauma. Incels use Females and another word I forgot to describe girls. Also it's a weird word that not a lot of people use anyway. I don't see a lot of people use females to describe women. Same with men. You don't see a lot of people use males to describe guys. You don't see people saying "I met this male the other day. Good male. All around good male" it's not bad, it's just different but as I've said, usually "nice guys" use that word or Incels so I t…

Sorry. I just finished reading. So what those words are saying is to think of equality as something we actually need, not something we actually want out of greed. It is our want for a false version of what we deem equal that is breeding hate against anything that demonstrates superiority. We hate the wealthy because they have more money and more luxury. The rich hate the poor because they are beneath them. So there begs the question, do we need our medicine now? If you compared places like Pakis…

Then equality will always be out of reach in all actuality. In a way, it always has been. Men and women are different, after all. We're wired differently from how we are raised to how we think. We can get close to equality if we wanted to, but the problem is at least in this generation in this current society, we are demonstrating in our actions that we don't really want that. We just want more.

That is very interesting. Then can the animals all be truly equal if other animals get more? Wouldn't that make equality in itself no longer have meaning?

You do understand you're trying to display sarcasm through messaging, right? So no it's not obviously sarcasm. It's actually harder to detect through messaging versus auditory.

I agree. I mean that seems reasonable to use as a bad word for example and not anything derogatory. I think sadly over time, people have gotten sensitive, maybe overly so. I'm a big believer in making your choices and decisions. If you say that word, fine but there's a reaction. As long as you're fine with that reaction, you can say what you want. You can't control their reactions, they can't control what you say.

My definition of incel is any man that shows very obvious hate towards women and blames them for their misfortune and have an overreaction to simple things like rejection. As for not getting laid, there's a lot of reasons outside of a horrible toxic personality for example for a man to not get laid. Some reasons can be shallow reasons like pure looks or a disability that shallow cold women can't tolerate or erectile dysfunction or they had their penis be nonexistent through injuryy, things like …

Yeah, I believe those are called "Nice girls" Rare species, really. Those are the kinds of women that say they believe in equality but as long as equality means only they get that "equality"

See, that's the confusing part. You say the patriarchy favors mostly men, but it just seems to be favoring or starting to favor mostly women, though in terms of the law like in forced paternity, cases of custody, domestic abuse allegations, sexual assult. Those types of situations can mostly be favored towards women and men in a lot of cases. They will not be taken seriously by society if they try to fight for example.

True. It should be about the choice but also it should also be about the consequences of that choice. So if someone, be it man or woman says "I don't want kids" then they should make that choice to do what they have to do and be sure it's what they want but it only becomes a problem when that person that chose not to have babies, then forces their own choice on their partner, just so the other person doesn't have to deal with the consequences of their choice.

Thank you! Oh my god I never understood this part! If a woman doesn't want to have a baby...why do the men have to get a vasectomy? Shouldn't it be the woman that doesn't want to have a baby to get her tubes tied? It makes sense. Or here's another solution. If it's a unanimous decision, why can't they both get a procedure done? I don't get it. Secondly, it's time like this that I think we have become the very thing we fought to destroy. Where men used to rob us of our rights and we had to fight …

I'm not surprised by that. I'm horrible with titles to be honest. I don't know. I can't get them right. Yeah. They can spoil themselves but from what I've experienced, people in general love to be spoiled by someone they love and specifically leaning towards men, that doesn't happen as often as for women but that's just my opinion.
/r/MensRights29/08/23 12:22 AM

Well, when I personally spoil a man, I do it based on how he treats me and if he's genuinely a good person. If he's an ass with a bad life or bad, dangerous habits that disrespect me or anyone else, I can be pretty petty or assertive. Spoil a man who deserves to be spoiled and not a man who expects servitude and king like treatment because he says so.
/r/MensRights29/08/23 12:13 AM

So you did. I'm sorry about that. I just saw that. Yeah, I mean, you see women stuck with men that aren't good for them or a man hurt them, and unfortunately, they think one man disappointed them, so the rest must be the same or they've had a lot of bad experiences and so all men must be like that. Men get blamed for something another guy did. I think just like incels for examples are developed from a lot of unfortunate things coming together, women can develop that same thing that can then form…

Hey, but at least he gets something good out of it. It's the whole "you get clean nails and I'll let you enjoy the whole process"

Yeah. I've noticed. I think a lot of men just want someone to care about them and their needs. There are good men out there and it really is sad that they don't get appreciated or showed enough affection by people they love. That's what we have to change

Oh. I'm so sorry 😅 yes over here old man means Dad. Sorry about that. My Dad is a Harley guy so I get him Harley Davidson things for his birthday. He would get skulls on motorcycles mostly in design. It was still a very sweet sentiment to get your dad t-shirts from travels. I'm sure he really enjoyed it Your man is treated like a king with those Mani pedi. I should do that for my man along with his whiskey. That sounds very relaxing after a hard days work for him. You really treat him right.

I love that your dad gets a mani pedi. Men can have really nice nails, too, and relax their feet in nice warm water. Spa treatment for everyone. I love Bissell vacuums. Lucky. That's a cool exchange and I way to care for each other. Your dad raised you right.

That is very true. I like to think we're all little kids inside who want to be coddled and loved and respected

Haha. I'm sure any hard-core feminism sites would probably argue a lot. The way I see it, I choose not to give in to that sort of people who believe certain things I disagree with and then hurt me for disagreeing. It just leads to insults and anger, and I get headaches. I already tried the "debate" route on here. Not a good idea

You bet. Equality in treatment of partners! Where's that movement?
/r/MensRights28/08/23 08:41 PM

Of course. I think in these examples and in doing things for someone, it's best to know who you're with and what he would accept or not and as you said, to check first or say "hey Babe, I want to get you this. Is this ok?"
/r/MensRights28/08/23 08:20 PM

I just imagine a cool Thor hammer for you. I know it's probably not but I just imagine it in your room. Awww. That was so sweet and it was when you just started dating! That's even better. We should have more women like that around and she kept buying you stuff. What a sweetheart. She's a keeper
/r/MensRights28/08/23 08:03 PM

Yeah. I agree that the problem in today's society of most women is a fear of being seen as a servant or being not feminist as you've said but because of that fear, we risk mistreating men that have shown to be good to us or work hard for their wives and kids. There's a sense of princess behavior we tend to have where we are pampered by men, but we desire more instead of appreciating what they do give us and what they do for us. You can give a fearful feminist woman a rose on Friday and then go o…

Awww! Your wife sounds incredible. I'm glad for you both. I think this is exactly what marriage should be. It should be two people in love forming a commitment representing that love and respect and demonstrating it day by day to each other. You have good, life with a great loving wife by your side. You are one of the fortunate ones.

I agree with you. There's a lot of ways to please men. A nice hot meal when coming home is another excellent way to show your man you appreciate and love him. They say a key a man's heart is through his stomach, and it really helps that men are easy to please in general. Congrats on your little one coming! That's great news. I'm very happy for you and for all the rest of your beautiful kids as well. Your man is lucky to have you.
