They are still victims of feeling the need to commit suicide; the term "victim(s) of suicide" is a widely used term; the usage of gender doesn't change that, although "completed suicides" does sound better for an infographic.

My problem with that is that there are many women who take advantage of that for a free dinner; I've known many men who've had that happen to them, and many women I know point this out. If you want to get to know them, ask them out on a coffee date and go dutch.

This is pretty much what the comments on the article are saying (almost all women, which should be noted). All of the commentors for it are saying, "Yeah well I wouldn't want a man I don't know near my child! I am sure this man would be the same!" Maybe, but that would be the same with women. The real question here is, where the hell is the parent? All of those for it are saying, "Women? That's fine! But men?! They might molest my little one 20K feet in the air!"

Won't affect them; it is money out of the state's pocket, not their's. Now if it is a private prison then that changes everything. I just don't get how when someone admits to perjury and is going to be arrested for it, how the person previously accused has to stay in prison. It makes no sense whatsoever.

Under Virginia law, perjury is a Class 5 felony, punishable by up to 10 years behind bars. Bet 'ya she doesn't even get a year.

Currently a woman can expect no punishment or a mere slap on the wrist for sending an innocent man to jail for almost five years. FTFY This does need to stop. "He broke up with me!" "Send him to jail for five years then, that will teach him! Not only that, nothing will happen to you when you finally decide to tell the truth; you win this 100%!"

As someone who frequents Y!A out of sheer boredom, I can assure you 90%, or more, of the time something controversial comes up, it is a troll. Unless you go to the Politics section, they're dumbass racists who are quite serious about what they're asking or saying most of the time.
