Is this assault..............?Yes, what you did could be considered assault if he told you to stop. Using a belt on another grown man is kinky so maybe he does like you but I'd say it's retaliation. Don't know if i'd go so far as to remove my belt. A handy stick would have sufficed. That would be aggravated assault. If you did that to a woman she'd probably hit you and/or cry rape. You'd get charged for assault. The fact that your a dude and a friend most likely kept him from going to the cops. He told you to stop and you di… | /r/MensRights | 21/03/12 07:54 PM
Sexual Harassment training at my workplacedoesn't stop the person from claiming a hostile work environment. In our case she made the complaint of lack of cooperation. We proved that we were cooperating, sharing the work evenly and there was nothing that needed to be handled by HR or management. A few "team building" exercises were tried but they couldn't force us to eat lunch with her, associate with her outside of work or have casual conversations. We basically iced her because of crap that went down in another department. The woman we… | /r/MensRights | 22/02/12 11:06 PM
Sexual Harassment training at my workplaceHah!. regarding the monkey bars. i was showing my kids my old schools on google maps. Highly detailed satellite images of the playground etc. Most I could say was Here was this, here was that, because all of the old skool monkey bars, swings and slides had been removed or weren't visible. monkey bars with runs that were too smooth to grip. slides that were scalding hot in the sun. Swings that had chains that must have been 10' long. everything a rambunctious little bastard needs to kill himself.… | /r/MensRights | 22/02/12 03:33 PM
Sexual Harassment training at my workplaceOh man, I glad I'm out of the corporate workforce now. The last 2 years i was there we had interns and new hires that would get mopey because no one told them what a good-boy they were for doing their assigned tasks. | /r/MensRights | 22/02/12 03:23 PM
Sexual Harassment training at my workplaceI agree. I believe it's the same thing that's behind Zero Tolerance policies. nobody wants to be blamed if a decision on a situation turns bad so they put policies in place to cover for it. The policies then take on a life of their own as people react to them. | /r/MensRights | 22/02/12 03:19 PM
| – | Sexual Harassment training at my workplaceI've been in that situation. Then the woman starts complaining to management about lack of cooperation from co-workers. It doesn't matter that everything is getting done, she feels marginalized by the lack of interaction and therefore there is an organized effort to oppress her. it's no-win in some places. | /r/MensRights | 22/02/12 12:48 PM |
