I read it. I agree with some parts but not others. I know I wouldn't have sex with someone for 6 months to a year before being in a relationship with them, that's just not something I'm comfortable with and is exactly the thing us females are taught NOT to do. You always hear people saying: "Why buy the cow if you can get the milk for free?" Why would anyone bother to be in a relationship if I just have sex with them and don't require anything else? I'm not a whore.

What is that supposed to be for?

Fucked multiple times a week and couldn't get enough. Good for you. Like I already said, the vast majority of those with depression have limited or no sex drive, but there is a small percentage of those with depression that get addicted to sex because it temporarily lifts their depression (just like drugs or other addictions.) I know depressed people on both sides of the spectrum but there are far more that don't want to have sex than those that want it 24/7. I've met men that were depressed and…

Nobody just "gets" depressions. It's not like a cold. Unless it's due to a physical issue, like i.e. hypothyroidism I have Hashimoto's thyroiditis which is an autoimmune illness that causes hypothyroidism, so yes. I was diagnosed a few years ago and it's very difficult to be properly treated. I've actually gotten much healthier since my diagnosis because I changed my entire diet and started exercising for 45 minutes to an hour every day. you shouldn't have been in a committed relationship with t…

If they're already in a relationship and the person gets depressed, does that mean you're going to break up with them because they're depressed and don't want to have sex often? That's pretty shitty but understandable. If they're just hooking up, then yes, he should probably find another person because if she really has depression, her sex drive will take a long time to come back and there's a chance it will take years to get everything fixed. But yeah, someone with clinical depression probably …

Then you would know people that are depressed often have zero interest in sex.

You're wrong. You clearly have never dealt with depression or mental health issues. People that are depressed often have zero sex drive.

It's the truth. I'm a female and it happens to every female, all the time.

I'm a female and can confirm. I get random guys that I've never met sending me messages and friend requests all the time and I'm just average looking. This happens to every female.

Female here. She's likely sore. Give her a day or two. Nothing is more frustrating than being sore and someone trying to persue sex. If you were to take a dildo and put it up your ass repeatedly, it would also be sore a few hours later. It's the same thing for vaginas. Stop looking into it as some reflection on you.

Oh, yeah. Anyone who has sex without a condom, especially after only a few months, who doesn't want to have a kid, is an idiot.

Even if child alimony is acceptable, ur still giving ur money away... I get it, u wanna take care of ur son, but still, wtf... What is wrong with you?! You're seriously telling OP not to be a mature man and take care of his responsibilities? He's not giving money away, he would be financially supporting a child he made. Only little, immature boys try to run from their responsibilities. It takes two people to make a baby so why would you think only the mother should take care of the kid?

I think it would be a good experiment to send a friend in and take a look around. See if there are any that match your ex's description.

Time is definitely significant. It's a lot easier to write off a 2-week relationship where you barely knew each other versus spending a year of your life, lived with someone and were likely planning on the future together. Say you put a year into building, upgrading, and customizing a car. Say you got a junky car and only had it for a week. If both cars got destroyed and couldn't be repaired, it would be a much bigger loss with the car that you had for over a year and had spent a lot of time and…

There's a huge difference between being sober, being in complete control of your decision making and deciding to cheat, not once, but multiple times. I can understand your comparison if she was sober and if she did this multiple times, but she didn't, so it's not the same thing.

How does someone getting drunk and acting like an idiot once in over a year come anywhere near someone cheating on their partner multiple times? There's a huge difference.

I don't know what AWALT means. I can see your point if she wasn't drunk but when drunk, people do stupid things that they normally wouldn't do sober. Many people can't handle their alcohol and shouldn't drink, or at least not in public. Just because she was drunk and made a mistake, doesn't mean she disrespects him. It means she shouldn't drink or shouldn't drink that much because she clearly can't control herself. But if OP feels like she crossed a line, then I see where he's coming from. None …

I understand. Yeah, if you feel she broke one of your rules/boundaries, do what you feel you need to do.

I don't know about you but some people have very good relationships with their ex's and stay friends. I'm still very close with some of mine, others not so much. Would I call them if I'm in an argument with my current partner? No. I also love how you say... we don't like being disrespected No one likes being disrespected but I don't remember you being in this relationship. If OP has feelings for her and has already put in a year with her, it doesn't make sense to throw it all away with one mista…

Oh, I know. I must be blue pill because I think it's reasonable for a human to make one mistake. God forbid. I didn't know you were perfect and never made a mistake in any relationship. /s I didn't say it was OK that she did that. I said if this is the first time and he already put so much time into this relationship, it would only make sense to try to discuss it. If he doesn't have feelings for her, he can walk away. This is a year + long relationship where they live together, not a 2-week rela…

I'm not any pill. It's called what's reasonable. Spending a year in a relationship and living together is a big deal. People make mistakes and if this is the first big mistake, there's no reason to throw everything away if OP has feelings for her. If she does it all the time, that's a different story.

People make mistakes. If this is the first major mistake after a year of dating and living together, you should at least see if you can work it out. Relationships are work and if you expect a relationship to never have mistakes, you're crazy. If you care about her, you should at least talk about the situation. If she does this frequently, it's a problem.

You should definitely tell you sister about him having herpes. Herpes isn't something that just goes away, it's a lifelong disease and can be transmitted by any skin-to-skin contact, even with a condom. I know I would want to know if I was going to even consider sleeping with someone and they had a disease, then (obviously) I wouldn't have any sexual contact with them. I don't think you would want your sister to get infected with a lifelong disease, if you could prevent it and I'm sure she would…

Have your doctor test your sex hormone levels and do these tests. It's a simple blood test that checks a variety of different hormones. You can also take DHEA which is a supplement, available over-the-counter at most pharmacies. I'm a female but discovered I had low testosterone which was causing fatigue, weight gain, zero sex drive, and a host of other symptoms, after my doctor recommended doing a blood test to check hormone levels. My doctor told me to get DHEA from my local pharmacy and said …

OK, so I made a mistake with the username. I apologize. But I still don't believe you're a female because if you were, you would know that women DO have a natural sex drive and it doesn't have to involve alpha males. I've dated men that were definitely not alpha males and dated women, and I had a sex drive when I was with my partners. I know plenty of straight, lesbian, and bisexual women who don't date "alphas" and have a strong sex drive. Some of these women actually have higher sex drives tha…

Your user name is Oncle Julian. I'm guessing you misspelled "uncle" which refers to a male, and the name Julian is also a male name. Stop pretending to be a female or have any idea about female masterbation /r/quityourbullshit
