I see where you're coming from on your initial commentary, but as you seemed to note, it's not quite the issue at hand. I am healing pretty well, with several months between me and the engagement being called off. I also do not see this therapist regularly; there was some brief work succeeding my leaving my fiance, during which this advice came up.
