It depends on the man or the woman. Some are strong emotionally, others are not.

Yikes it's The Daily Fail. One of the least reliable sources of news in the western world. Even if the story is sound, the source actually sucks out any credibility. Edit: Down-voted by someone who likes their news with a slant.

I don't meet many mainstream feminists. Like many men, I do meet women on a day to day basis, some of whom may describe themselves as feminists. To be honest, it's not a question I ask because it seems in general outdated and irrelevant. My experience of women is the same as my experience of any human being; usually positive with a few arseholes along the way. I don't find the "them and us" mentality adds anything. In fact to the contrary. The OP speaks of equality, which ultimately necessitates…

What I am saying is TLDR This is an internet "comment" opportunity not an essay writing competition. I have other more in depth things a going on in my life without spending time satisfying your ego with an inappropriate, long winded internet argument. You need to learn to communicate your points a lot more concisely. I will put you on block so I don't face such nonsense in the future. Good bye and good luck. :D

Having lived through great changes in attitudes towards women, feminism for most women was about equality. It has been hijacked by a minority of insecure, paranoiac, narcissists who think everyone should be unhappy together. The vast majority of women want and understand equality, unfortunately the ones who have shouted loudest recently are the hijackers.

Women who have had a hysterectomy must feel their opinion is just dismissed. Some of these mantras that are blurted out don't even make sense for all women, never mind men.

It will be interesting to see how that works in relation to the menopause. Is it age discrimination? How will women who do not menstruate benefit such as due to birth control, being sterile, or other reasons? Before we even get to gender differences, this seems like a bureaucratic nightmare which will infringe on women's personal lives and impact on their perceived value in the workforce.

The problem starts way before this. If two people don't know one another well enough to have discussed any issues like this, and start fucking, it is highly likely someone could end up hurting. It takes more than a swipe right on a phone to make it safe to fuck someone.

In fairness I listened to a report on BBC radio at around 4pm today about this which stated the victims were mostly male. It is surprising though, given recent outrage about violence against women that the gender is not acknowledged in this written report. Violence against anyone by anyone is not acceptable but cannot be naively and neatly assigned against gender, either as perpetrators or victims.

The Equality Act 2010 says you must not be discriminated against because of your race. In the Equality Act, race can mean your colour, or your nationality (including your citizenship). Almost no-one actually wants to kill themselves A very bold statement that all those people don't know their own mind, (800,000 per year world wide). The "help" that many people need is to commit suicide without suffering, as well as offering support where that is needed. No-one should presume they know better about someone else's circumstances. It's arrogant and unhelpful.
/r/MensRights26/03/18 05:49 PM

They can talk about it, explore it, study it and make programmes about it but the only people who can prevent it are the people who are suicidal themselves, and even then only if they want to, and if they get a better offer than whatever their current predicament is. The problem with looking for sexual assault by females in western culture, is that generally people (including the men themselves) are more inclined than women to reinterpret it as a conquest to prevent themselves being viewed as a victim and weak.

If forming and maintaining good relationships with our parents is essential for us to appreciate and handle social situations, it makes me wonder what the impact of lessening direct social contact though the use of technology is likely to have, as our experience of social situations outside electronic contact diminishes.

I'm wondering if the original title was "Do glaciers exist?" but a typo put a political slant on it. Yes good causes are defined by me and others. You need to protect the weak and vulnerable before they are attacked not after. the OSS community is not purely capitalist, since they usually give away their product and source code for free That's right and we should seek to support that altruism. nor does a system that protects the weak have to be a democracy That's right but a democracy is not a democracy unless everyone has the franchise.

"Hand Wringers and Pole Clutchers" Yiannopoulos does not say what he means by that but seems to be pretty pleased with himself for using the terms. If he means what I think he means: people who feel strongly about good causes that fight for democracy and protect the weak and vulnerable then I don't have a problem with their involvement in open-source software. It seems a pretty shallow analysis. For example she says: everyone in that family needed to work. in reference to women staying home. That is pretty insulting view of those women who did not go out to work for a wage but put time and energy into the family and gave a great deal of support to their partner. The problem is that ongoing economic expansion deprived families of a level of wage where only one person in the family could go out to work and retain a reasonable level of income, and made i…

I have never been out with a girl who has not been my friend so I struggle a little to see the distinction that so many others see as taboo. In the UK the focus is on the welfare of the child. Services are provided for children to have contact with their parents free of charge rather than allowing services to make a fast buck out of someone else's misery and risk harm to the child by letting affordability get in the way. In order to decide on the type of data you are presenting, the collection of the information has to be comprehensive or at least planned in advance. To decide not to count data about violence above a certain level if it happens to the same person is arbitrary and serves to hide the actual number of assaults.
/r/MensRights10/06/15 10:13 PM

Seems like the number of assaults against one person can never be more than five under the current recording for statistical purposes. That's bad for women and for men. If a child was being followed and hit by bullies every day on the way to school why would it not count after the 5th day. It makes no sense.

The woman seems to have missed the point. If men are viewed as having a lesser role then it becomes a self fulfilling prophecy; men get less paternity leave and have no option but to get less contact time with their child.
