Right. Ok, so it is between .004 and .006. I was going by "350 million" people in the USA as a guess, but I guess that is closer to "330 million". It is still VERY to EXTREMELY unlikely.

0.005 I believe is the number, last I saw? Not including Trans-trenders. https://www.nytimes.com/2016/07/01/health/transgender-population.html 1.4 million / 350 million (this is USA, but is a large enough sample size it could be extrapolated to fit a world model) is 0.004, so less than I thought. Not sure why you were downvoted for asking for a source.

Yeah, man, like, why isn't Bill Gates actually getting out there and complaining on Reddit and the media? Or, did he keep his head down, made a ton of money, and now can actually AFFECT the change he wants. Fucking dumbass, right? Anyone could be Bill Gates, he just beat me to it. I am being sarcrastic, yes.

You aren't a child in an adult relationship, though? It's all in your mindset. Is a working husband a slave because he goes out to work 40-60 hour weeks? You know how much of his own money he gets to spend at work? 0. But, as an adult, you have something called "responsibility". You understand what has to be done, and if you are lucky enough to get someone to share the workload, all the better. I'm not sure where your toxic view of life came from, but get help.

The power struggle thing is a 100% postmodernism play.

No problem with that at all. There are exceptions and extremes to studies like this that don't fit in the norm. You do you, man.

I think it is still legal in Canada if you are a teacher, but you could definitely lose your job as you are in a position of authority. Not a lawyer, though.

Feminism != Women. A fact that for some reason feminists don't believe. I love women...

Look at this guy's post history and subs he frequents. He is radicalized to the point where "everything is political". Let's just downvote and move on.

The first one in regards to the truth debate, the second went a bit further. :) Both worth listening to, but can be frustrating.

Not sure about Neo-Platonic, but pragmatist. You should check out the podcast itself, to see. Jordan brought up his points well, neither were wrong. However, Sam is the king of analogizing, and it is very evident in the podcast.

Really? The dude has been studying the evil of humanity for the last 40 years... you are clearly just hopping on this hate bandwagon for his MGTOW statements, without viewing any of his other work.

13% of the women I know That may be true, but that isn't what I said.

It is not what defines feminism for me or any other person I know. Be careful that it actually doesn't. If you live in the USA, only 13% of women identify as feminist, due to the meaning of the term essentially changing. Make sure you understand where you are.

Definitely they are. However, your language, your sanity, your food, your health care, the internet etc are all part and parcel of society. You can't just pick and choose what is not included in that definition. Yes, there are really shitty parts of society (and I agree with gynocentrism is prevalent, especially in schools), but there are a lot of good parts to society as well that you just can't discount. What set of tools you choose to navigate through life with, or values (MGTOW, for example)…

By "recently started" he mentioned he was looking at it in an interview from 2014. I think he means recent as in the last 15 years :P, or at least since Maps of Meaning has been released.

Baby boomers have held the reigns of power since the 80s and MGTOW is a monument to their failure to maintain the society that they so grossly benefited from. To the point where the middle class is no longer sustainable. Again, how is that fair to blame him? He had no control over the socio-economic policies any more than you do of today. Peterson likes to talk about what young men should be doing today, how they should think and how they should be sacrificing everything to serve the system that…

I would say I am a classical liberal, with some conservatism built in. Hence why I classify as Centre. It doesn't mean I am exactly middle on all issues, I have things I agree with on the left, and things on the right. He shames MGTOW, he packpeddles and denies it. He apologized for using the term pathetic weasels, but I think he stands strong on the points he made about it. It is indeed worth of a discussion for him to learn about the core concepts, reflect, and then come at it with a different…

Yeah, I'll sign a petition when I can read and understand what it is saying. I got to "sub stained" (after not seeing names capitalized, which should've given me a clue). If we want this to be taken seriously, I would at least have the spelling and grammar correct.

I understand the point you and others are trying to make, but regardless, it is a private business, and if they won't serve you, they don't have to. It is like the whole "gay wedding cake" debacle. If they don't want to do it, they don't have to. They lose business from people who care, and they either change their policy or go out of business. Yes, it is discrimination based on sex, however, it is not within our right to demand someone perform a service for you.

Well said. Body-positivity support comes from a body worth being positive and supportive of, which is generally just "Healthy". You don't need a 6 pack and the Bruce Lee wings to be successful, just healthy so you won't die an early death, and maybe go for a hike and not feel like it's the end of the world.

I honestly don't know how anyone can look at what she says and think it is ok, regardless of which group the hate is directed toward. I am glad she has the right to free speech so we can see her for what she really is.

This may not be a popular opinion, but nobody should have the "right" to abort a child. If it is deemed medically necessary (to treat cancer, for example, you can't be on chemo and pregnant without the baby dying, or mother dying from lack of treatment), or certain incest/rape situations. Otherwise, you stuck your dick in it (or opened your legs), you get pregnant, deal with it. Old enough to be having sex, old enough to be a parent. Also, I am an atheist, and this view of mine I have to say is …

Well, that, and the fact he is religious, and I believe it is taught that once you are married, you don't put yourself in romantic (or even quasi-romantic) situations with others, out of respect for your partner. It is one thing to demand trust (especially when it hasn't been broken yet), but to also put them into the position where they do think the worst is not something you would want to do to someone you care about.

I think Bill Burr explained this the best on Conan. "You blew it! You were up against a guy who said 2 things a week that would torpedo anyone else's career, and you somehow couldn't get out in front of him?"

Been told I am a solid 8, but not a 9 or 10 because I don't work out enough. I really hate working out, but I watch what I eat so I am not unhealthy, just don't have the muscle to go along with it. I would rate myself a 7 in the terms of how much work I would need to do to become a 10 to me. 10 is completion, and hopefully, I will never reach it.

AWALT. I would suggest checking some of the videos posted on this sub, as they go quite in depth of the psychology and stereotypes perpetuated in society. It may surprise you. I am on mobile, so I can't link any atm (at work). May help shed some light. I really hope you aren't trolling, but you seem sincere. You do have certain extremes, and in no way do you have to follow some of the more extreme examples. Go your OWN way. Some people really just are in a rage phase, which again is normal. :)

Are you 12? Every post on this thread from you is telling someone to fuck off, or calling them "fucking idiots". Now "spellcheck your moms ass"? Grow the fuck up or GTFO, troll.
/r/MGTOW16/07/16 05:33 AM

No. You have to realize, there is a "hate/anger phase" for a lot of guys as they got really burned in some way. Totally ok to vent, and understandably so. After, it is just indifference. I didn't find out about "MGTOW" until after that phase. Now I just don't care. It isn't a "movement" or "cult" as some claim; it is just men giving up on playing a rigged game. You don't have to hate women, just understand them.

Have you ever heard th bloodcurdling scream as a child is circumcised with one of those razors that spin around after they pull the foreskin up? Watch a circumcision like I did (wasn't my kid, but got approval to watch for knowlege purposes) and tell me that it is "right". I still feel sick thinking about it.

Man, I can't thank that doctor enough. Thinking back I can't believe I was looking to cut my fucking dick just to please a girl... That I ended up dumping anyway.
/r/MGTOW15/07/16 04:04 PM

For me it did, and I had the whole "anger" stage thing. Now I'm just indifferent. Let the guys vent, best you can do is listen until they come out of the rage. I'm glad there is a spot to do it, instead of just me in one corner of my room, letting hate consume.

The mental illness being infatuation. I considered it once when the lady I was dating said it put her off having sex with me because of the way it looked, and she said I should get it done. I considered it, up until the consultation when the doctor talked some fucking sense into me.

Honestly, it has probably been for a long time, but with the advances in technology and social media, it created a spot where guys can be like, "Oh holy shit, there are other dudes that think this way." There wasn't really a way for guys to speak about this when not in a "group" or something, which a lot of guys don't do because of shame and the fact there is better shit to do. As far as the acronym goes, who knows, but as an "idea", for as long as men have been getting fucked over. I personally…
