Men die more when controlling for method, though. What this means that if you look at only people who attempted by ODing on drugs men still die more frequently than women. The methods men use are often more violent, yes, but when women use those same methods they are less likely to die from them.

I agree with a lot of this. Emotional repression doesn't happen in a vacuum. It happens over time. One thing I would consider is that it is often learned well before a boy reaches their teenage years. It's learned in elementary school where teachers often just treat boys as problems to be solved.

Feminists got the Duluth Model implemented in police forces across this country. Feminists got the CDC to use gendered definition of rape. A definition under which a woman drugging a man and tying him up before forcing herself on him is not rape. Women are the majority of voters in the US and have been since the 80s. Women have more political power than men in that aspect.

Reposting here what I did on MensLib. Apparently this was a bannable offense to them. This is a bad take. Women don't get a pass on bigoted statements, just because they are directed at men. If the comment would be bigoted when targeting a racial group, it is just a bigoted comment. There is no punching up or down, it is all just punching. The fact the draft hasn't been used since Vietnam should be an argument FOR removing/equalizing it. It means that there will never be a lower impact time to address it. Opposing modifying it because of its lack of use is the same mentality as finding an old Jim Crow law on the books and arguing that since it is unenforceable it doesn't need to be removed.

Do you have absolutely nothing you are insecure about? If a politician started linking a particular insecurity of yours with a vile movement, going so far as to say that your particular insecurity is the reason for that movement, it would have zero effect on you? This kind of attack was the equivalent of carpet bombing cities to hit production centers. Sure it may hurt the intended target, but creates tons of collateral damage.

So any German who did not fight the allies as they marched to Berlin in 1945 deserves ostracization for that? It's never an absolute. What compels anyone to fight for some piece of land? How many of these Ukrainian men had a choice in where they lived? How many of them had tried to move elsewhere, but were denied that opportunity?

I've come up with an idea to maybe drive home the absurdity of the draft. The re population draft. If you say women's reason for avoiding combat is to repopulate the nation, then make it an official policy. All the same registration, chance, etc. Only difference being that if drafted the woman doesn't go to battlefield, they instead would be required to give birth. Lawsuits only force the guilty party to pay something to maintain their attitude.

The studies that show that teachers regularly grade boys more harshly than girls. The fact that universities and colleges now have reversed the gender ratios from the 1970s. The sentencing gap in courts is bigger between the sexes than the racial sentencing gap. There are numerous stories of a company/organization saying that will not promote/hire men. Yes they usually get sued, but that attitude is not getting corrected.

A lot of women who want to commit violence will get a man to do "dirty work" for them, so they aren't perceived as violent. My mind immediately goes to the story of a woman who got caught by a police officer posing as hitman. Had she been in contact with an actual hitman, her murder plot would have been committed by a man despite the origin of the crime being her.
