I think the woman’s and man’s baseline of what they bring to a relationship matter here. If the woman has a standard of living provided by her income and the man then had nothing and she supplemented longer than reasonable then it’s fair to leave. But if she’s SAHGf/M then no.

I would argue that’s just different preferences and that you shouldn’t date that woman if the only thing you find a green flag is her looks.

This is totally false, highest depression is among teens and young adults between 18-29, majorly attributed to social media. Women do have a higher chance of depression but it isn’t because of childlessness or being single, it’s because of hormones, BCP, genetic factors, and biological differences (infertility, childbirth, menopause, PMS). Social factors may also lead to higher rates of clinical depression among women, including stress from work, family responsibilities, the roles and expectatio…

The credit belongs to women for being given an equal opportunity to be financially independent providers and choose to go to higher education route. Men who are weak and bring nothing else to the table, who only have that one way to financially control their partner so they’ll stick around are finding this a tough pill to swallow.

Why is the onus to maintain society on women? You assume that all the divorces are due to women. What if the cause is an abusive husband or one that isn’t an equal partner in the marriage? Unfaithful? If we are talking statistics men cheat more than women. Marriages end due to this. Men aren’t responsible for “acceleration of societal deterioration”?

You literally said once kids know how to play video games and iPad they will be on it all day. Also I understand that some iPad use for videos and game play is good for children (as long as it’s not social media) but I wouldn’t rely on those until a dependency. Like if they refuse to go out or play with friends if you were to take away their electronics.

It is in the minority I agree but the trend is going in the direction of women being equal or higher providers than men when it comes to financial resource. Bold of you to assume women are only more educated because of affirmative action. Where are you getting your divorce stats? Also higher number of divorce is a good thing because it means women have financial agency (and otherwise) to leave a less than ideal marriage so for me it’s a positive change.

Don’t assume. I know plenty of families where women are the providers AND nurturers. Alternatively if you look at stats there are more women that are graduating college than men and that number is slated to only go up. So one can hope that women will be expected to provide more in the coming generations and men have to keep up or go to STAH status when it comes to raising kids. So keep that “urge to provide” in check.

Aren’t both parents making that commitment? Shouldn’t both parents raise their kids together? Like after work the primary bread winner should take the kids responsibility and put them to bed later so the STAH spouse can have time to themselves?

This response shows you’ve never raised a child or you’ve raised zombie kids. You can’t give them iPad/tv all day.

Then what do you call the beta rich nerd who have women flock to them?? 😂. Stop using anecdotal evidence to make yourself feel better. If anything there is a correlation in extroverted men meeting women vs introverted due to social hobbies.

Correction: women have expectations and standards that men lack. Men seem to be aware of this which is why they’re a certain way pre-marriage and then change post marriage.

It’s almost like those guys without experience should date those with experience and yet they want golden virgins.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 05:53 PM
2

Who says you have to date. If the guy is so well off why can’t he stay single and happy? He’s paying to keep this woman in his life. This is such a straw man argument.
/r/PurplePillDebate11/02/22 02:51 PM

Sounds like a toxic relationship and I don’t see why the guy would choose to be with a woman with whom he has not discussed how he hopes to lead his life and discuss what’s important to him and come to an understanding. It seems a lot of the issues you mentioned come down to communication. Not a gender issue.

What’s ironic is even if he gets with a 20 year old she will eventually be 28 or gasp older at some point. People don’t marry someone based on how they look at X age. It’s compatibility and attraction. And they attraction will not fade over time as their looks might.

He’s not wrong. Looking good at an older age is determined by genetics, sunscreen use and hygiene.

Idk who this is about but in a marriage what both earn should be shared based on child care expenses, household expenses vs personal expenses. This is something that every couple has to discuss and come to an agreement on before marriage. The only time this line is blurred is when one of the partners is a STH parent then the money earned is shared because the work that the STH spouse is putting in isn’t quantifiable by salary/pay. I don’t know any woman in a marriage that insists that her earned…

And you think men now are the same as the men back then? Think of the avenues they have to cheat with (as do women).

Fair statement about memes preferences but I disagree that women can be healthy at ALL sizes. I don’t think size 38 is healthy. Morbidly obese are studied and have a much lower life span. Part of choosing a partner is someone healthy who can be your partner into your old age. You just need to find a man that likes you and your body.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 04:19 PM

No I don’t want all women to be 0. I’m just saying you can be healthy at most sizes between 0-14. It’s only unhealthy if it’s interfering with your micro nutrients, mental health, and muscle density. Size 0 varies based on your height as well so a woman who is 5 feet has a much smaller waist than a size 0 woman who is 5’6. It is proportional. Just don’t use fashion industry sizing to gauge health is all I’m saying. You’re being hyperbolic.
/r/PurplePillDebate31/01/22 04:10 PM

Don’t kink shame. Would you say the same for chubby chasers? Imho severely under weight and severely overweight is unhealthy but basing health of fashion industry sizing is unfair and incorrect.

It’s easy for neckbeards and LV men to shift blame on women and women’s high standards when they might just be…preferences and those men just don’t put effort into themselves. A lot of these standards help weed out men who are self centered and not ambitious. Or only doing something to get a woman but once they have them they’ll lose that motivation and become slobs.

That’s a decent list for men as well. Although replace cute with grooming/hygiene and most well established people will appear to be partner material.

That really depends on the country you live in. America, plenty of 6 foot men and fewer size 0 women but Asian countries way more size 0 women and way less 6ft men. It’s relative.

No it’s toxic because generalizing a gender based on one trait is sexist and sexism is toxic. Exactly who cares about body count. Women who sleep around aren’t bound to get STD or AIDS. You can sleep around with respectful individuals with informed consent so that STIs aren’t caught. So you’re saying all men who sleep with high N women get cheated on? What a load of BS. Dead bedrooms are caused by more than N count. It’s a short sighted way to think about marriage and marital problems. Women who…

Depends on the healthy weight for your height. Fashion industry sizing should not be your gauge of your body’s health. Focus on Whole Foods based diet with good quality protein. Stay away from processed/junk food or fast food but don’t cut yourself off. 200 calories of vegetables are a lot more nutrient dense for you than 200 cals of lean cuisine. I have a sweet tooth so I usually eat sweets in moderation. Always split desert with someone else or have a small amount to satisfy my craving or have…

Bingo. I’m size 0 and I don’t see where the obsession with 0 comes from. It’s different on everyone and models who are 0 are much larger in the waist than 0 petites it’s all about body fat distribution and height. Sizes are arbitrary at best. The kids preference I get because it’s a big commitment to have to deal with as well as debt.

00 is attainable because…me and many other people I know. But the 0 body count is dumb for a preference anyways.

Let’s flip the script and see if it applies. Do guys like women to be taller than them? To make more than them or have more ambition? To have men who haven’t had kids with other women and abandoned them?

This sub is so toxic. Who cares about body count? Experience is good. Guys being bitter about body count are the ones who will be annoyed that she doesn’t want to blow him or uses teeth but hey guess what genius…you’ll have to be willing to bear the emotional and mental burden of being someone’s first and it’ll make it or break it. Focus on personality and looks like normal people. Leave body count out of it. It isn’t matter.

Size 2 at 5’6 has vastly different metrics to size 2 at 5’0. This is why size is relative and not a good way to gauge a woman’s body. Ethnicity, race and diet also factor into the fat distribution. I’m 5”4 and size 0-1 and I’m healthy and basically eat whatever I want with a focus on whole foods/ vegetables and avoiding fried or junk food. Last time I checked my metrics were fine too. I generally hate when people assume that because someone is size 0 that they have an eating disorder or only eat…

Also experience is good. Why would you want to be responsible for the emotional and mental labor of being someone’s first? It’s like raising a child but they’re supposed to be your equal. Judging someone by body count is immature and childish.

This is pretty toxic thinking. There are plenty of healthy size 0 petite women. I know 40 year old women who are 00 and 5ft. Not at all unrealistic and completely healthy since they aren’t starving themselves nor bulimic.
