Well she either did not told anything to her parent until a few years later or they refuse to go to court for some reasons (good or bad). I don't want to position myself due to the lack of context but yeah, I see your point now.

Well I mean, I would kind of understand, I think going on court is something that she may not be able to handle as a teen. I also know from a lot friends, that she might not even be able to discern the fact that he was flirting at that age, now that she grow up, she know more about those things and reflect on it instead of brushing it off due to her young age I guess. On the other hand, I don't like that the whole victim signaling and white knight thing shitty, it's pretty annoying.

It's a bad term IMO. I would define it by "What is toxic about the societal expectation of masculinity " From a few feminist friend that don't seem radical, misandrist or feminazi and from what I understand of it. What I hate about the term is that it always lead to false assumption about itself. It's masculinity that is toxic, but some part of aspect of it expected by society.

I actually like some of the comment ngl Like the one saying you should respect women by just treating them as people and some kind if different human species and that some people, even if you date and respect them, might not love you back.
/r/MensRights31/05/21 02:16 PM

I guess saying respect men is too short and too reductive. I would say, you gotta respect men choices, preferences, boundaries, values, views/opinions, perspectives, time. You can date any man by respecting these, but you can't end in a relationship with any man by doing so. (Saying this because a lot of people assume respecting the other is enough to make them love you, no, sometimes they won't) And you gotta respect that, that some men might not be attracted by you, or wants to be around you a…

I feel so bad for you man. I hate those kind of people, they can't even think about how they make people feel. This has kind of happenend to me, and now i have some issue with trusting girl. I would recommend not getting locked because of that, don't think because it happen with one that it will happen with other, but on the other way, I would recommend trying to get people more before and really sticking to red flag. I will tell you the usual "don't focus on girl and focus on yourself". I hope …

Here's one of my issue. I don't feel loved as a friend. I had a group of friend, and what happened is that I wasn't that close to them, compared to what I was thinking. Plus, I had a crush on one of the girl on this group friend. After getting rejected I had a big self-esteem issue because I thought about everything that happened. I asked myself, am I really their friend ? Do they really love me ? They weren't coming back at me, not reaching out to me to just talk and just hang out. I started ru…

From what I learned with someone who've been learning history for around 10 years. The "Children and Woman first" comes from the idea that man life are not that important, only a few are actually needed to impregnate women, women on their side, can make a lot of babies and literally can compensate for the lost and make the population grow. The children are also important, they're kinda naïve, the education you give them any idea you want.

Masculinity is not really important, in fact, it isn't really a fixed thing, it changes from generation to generation, culture to culture. Also, the alpha male concept is pretty stupid in human society. The term alpha male was use to describe the most helpful, important male in a monkey tribe. We do not live in a tribe anymore. And even today's definition portray by internet is not something you should aim for. You don't have to be masculine actually, just be a good human being, that's it. Take …

First of all, hug Now, society don't care about individuals, it only care about groups of people, about men, women, black, Asian, everyone. But society don't give a fuck about the individual, and I found it really sad. Nobody care about our mental health or our self confidence, even if this is what they ask. I'm would say I'm sad for what happens to you, but I think it was a good thing, in a way that, it helps you understand our society. Now there's one thing left to do, go your own way.

I'm against rape, sexism, harassment, against men and women. I'm again sex trafficking, I'm again inequality, I'm for an appropriate treatment for men and women (which means that men should be treated the same way as women BUT it should not lead to discrimination). But I'm not a feminist. I wouldn't call my self like that.

I don't think like that, it's just how they justify this in fact. Men generalized about women, so women are doing the same about men with feminism.

The thing here, is that they're what doing people have been doing to women for a long time. "Women cheat, so they deserve to be cheated on, women are bitch, so they deserves to be treated like this". I can go on. Edit : typo

Being stoic leads to suppression of emotion. Emotions are meant to be expressed or else they bottle up inside. No, stoicism highly encourage to deal with your emotion, to understand them, and to accept them. The problem isn't really stoicism. The problem is that, either people takes stoicism misunderstand stoicism, and just bottle up their emotion. Either man don't have a someone with who they can safely express their emotion. Also, everyone did bad thing in the past, women too. Slavery and domi…

I think i ignore/hate the "women are evil" part because my last crush was genuinely good with me. She was kind, affective, made time for me, was hugging quite a lot, she helped goes through a "depressed" phase that I was in. She wasn't those kind of "Bitch" that most men here are talking about, she didn't done anything and to me, her feeling wasn't just the same, I just surestimate her feelings about me. So I have quite the goob and bad image of a woman, where a lot of folks here seem to have on…

Look, to me it's just stupid, I mean, I can understand the reflexion behind why he blocked, but those was just assumption, not her actual intention. There's a difference between being polite and answering to someone then reject their demands for date or something like that, and just blocking her for a bunch of theories you made in your head. I didn't say to him go back with your ex, I just said that don't be an asshole and block people like that with no actual proof.

Being an asshole is sometimes about perspective. You can be an good and respectable adult from your perspective and an asshole from another one perspective.
