If you don't believe me then feel free to go look for the information yourself. You are free to be ignorant and its not my job to do your research. if you are not willing to look for yourself then that is on you. You have presented to supporting evidence for your claim. So I can dismiss your claims as just more false allegations.

Just pointing out your cognitive bias You are wrong in your assumptions. If you seriously want evidence contrary to what you believe you can easily go find it for yourself. You are basing your assumption on 6 whole cases when there are thousands upon thousands in each province/jurisdiction. What am I basing my belief on, the actual evidence from thousands upon thousands of cases. Do you work with the Foster System? Ever taking any Courses or education regarding it? Or just basing everything you …

And it isn't all nightmares and abuse either Far more are treated very well and go on to live happy lives. We never get to hear the good stories

Just pointing out your Cognitive Bias. Don't judge the whole by your limited personal experience.

My wife and I were thrilled that it was so high. We are in the process to be foster parents and have wanted to adopt for years. For us this is the perfect way to grow our family. We want to be the last stop on the Foster System Roller Coaster.

No need to wish. It is the reality. You never get to hear all the successful stories...we only ever hear about the bad ones.

Some see children as an accessory - look how virtuous I am! I am taking care of a disadvantaged child! Money - Locally the Province(Canada) pays $25+/day maintenance for the child's basic needs. And Almost $20/day for the caretakers compensation. And then a lot of what is for the children the Province covers. The Province will reimburse a lot of things for children. And yes some people get through the system specifically to get children put into their care so they can abuse them....thankfully th…

My wife and I are in the process of becoming Foster Parents right now here in Alberta Canada. The Horror stories we have heard from our works are all related to False allegations of abuse against Foster Parents. Have heard of numerous cases where the Foster Parent(usually father) is accused of sexual abuse. Everyone who I have had the opportunity to talk with who has been a foster parent has a couple of false allegations made against them.

Silver lining is that (Well at least locally) about 50% of foster families end up adopting one or more of their foster children.

If you find the right person it is totally worth it. If she has 2 parents observe how her mom treats her Dad and Vice Versa. It is a good sign as to how she expects to be treated and how she will treat you.

Not off hand. There are many sources out there confirming as such. Anecdotally: My spouse is a teacher and it is easy to tell which students have involved parents and those who do not. It is very rare to have any problems with a single father in regards to their kids and behavior in the classroom.

Mothers statistically are the ones who more often commit the abuse of neglect than Fathers. When we compare the incident rates of Single Father house Holds to Single mother households the mothers are the ones on average doing more neglecting per capita.

I have been in the Wedding industry over 20 years, marriage rates being down have nothing to do with the current culture...well at least locally. The Economy is why marriage rates are down for the past couple of years here. When Young Men start losing their jobs in massive lay offs the weddings the following couple of years drops and those that do happen are scaled back on average. Like here in Alberta Canada we have had a nasty years in our Economy and Men were the primary ones losing their job…

He did pay out his accuser a very large settlement. When confronted about the accusation his response was along the lines of "How much to make this go away" Having read the report I do not believe he is not guilty of what he was accused of. Like many rich and famous people he used his money to get away with it.

Socialism leads to Communism. He is a Communist. He hides his Communism with the veil of Democratic Socialism. One can vote for their own slavery. He references the Nordic Countries as being Democratic Socialist states....even when they keep denying that they are that.

He wants Basic Income and agreed to give free healthcare to illegals. he lost it all right there. Bernie is most certainly a communist. That is what Socialism leads to. His campaign people certainly are communists and advocate for violence. If Trump was so Authoritarian he would not be facing Impeachment

And looking at the Democrat Primaries he will be the only logical choice in 2020 Warren is a Liar Biden is Corrupt - there will be a lot of fall out with his Son and Barisma Bernie is a Communist disguised as a Nice Socialist The others are barely blips on the map The Democrats are splitting.
