Right on. I appreciate your usage of the verbiage gain and loss, that is something that I think about in my life with my interactions with other people. Trying NOT to treat everything as a "transaction". But at the end of the day people act in their own interests, and that includes me. I try to be empathetic and put myself in other people's shoes, which has led to me helping people in certain situations even though I didn't really want to (used to own a truck and got several requests from people…

In my opinion, all cognitive and social abstraction is in service of biological imperatives. But we are capable of thinking and acting against this biological imperative. I will cede that the vast majority, a huge proportion of our lives is what you describe, but we can rise above this. The reason I speak up is because I don't like this idea that we are doomed to be slaves to our instincts, and that there is no use fighting temptation so to speak. I feel like many use it as a justification for p…

You make an interesting point about the mother relationship being different than relationships with other women, but this is much too nihilistic for my preference. We as humans have the ability to overcome or override our instincts, we're not just higher animals.

You really haven’t understood the purpose of red pill. You’re far to emotional and feminine. and you're just coming off like an asshole...

I thought the consensus was that society is currently falling apart. If you ask me I would say that the disintegration of the nuclear family is a big part of that. OP hit an important nail right on the head when he said that child rearing got in the way of a woman's 15 hour work day. Why only have one taxable income per family when you could have two? Plus there's the benefit in having the children sent to the State child care/programming facilities out of necessity because both parents are busy…

This idea that both genders are simultaneously oppressed, the men for having to work and the women for having to stay home and raise the kids...I would call it silly if it didn't seem like there are powerful people in this world that are trying to weaken and destroy the nuclear family. If you're not looking to have kids and just want to fuck then don't LTR, but I can only hope if and when I have kids that I'm in a position to have my baby mama stay home so that she's raising my kids and not the …

I honestly was having more fun reading all the GLO fanboy comments. It's fine if this is the stuff you like, but don't pretend that this post has a wealth of information.

Seriously, what is this post and thread of comments? Apparently all we want is suave references and graphic metaphors.

Funny how chronic disease in Western cultures is running rampant. You're probably right though, the idea that it's related to our diets is probably just a bunch of b*******. These food producers would never put anything unhealthy in our foods. Edit: a word

I've heard/read that an imbalance in your omega-6s and omega-3s could actually exasperate harmful effects from the Sun. If you take the OP's advice about Omega 6s and omega-3s you might see an improvement in your skin's resilience to the Sun Edit: if necessary, I would just look for a children's sunscreen or something for sensitive skin, there are sunscreens out there that are better than others.

The fact that so many people think what we're experiencing in the US is capitalism or a free market is very worrying to me.

Yeah, no president has ever been removed from office. Several have been impeached, but there's actually no precedent right now for removing presidents.

For perjury involving the affair I believe. The actual act was not the reason.
