Imo I suspect there is a root of objectification in a depersonalisation that peoples brains have to do (like filtering out ones own voice) whenever they enact force. For example on one another in a fight, but I imagine also when you have to leave your comfort zone to talk to a cute girl and/or are drunk, because when you are forcing your own hand you aren't even treating yourself like a person.
