This story reads like a 50 Shades for RP. This subreddit had my attention for a bit... initially saw Taoism, Thelema, decent selfish gene theory.. but now it's really beginning to bore me. In the end if you have your shit together you aren't on reddit, unless you're selling your book.

The problem is Reformists94 made a generalization using a shit sample size. He made us all dumber by not realizing his sample doesn't represent anything except comparable decaying US industrial cities.

when a woman was doing the exact same job as a man, for the same employer, with the same experience, and skill, and she was still paid less. If there is no pay gap then wouldn't that necessarily mean that for every situation where a woman is paid less to do the same job as a man there must another situation where a man is being paid less than a woman to do the same job? Hence it wouldn't be a gender issue, just a general fairness issue.
